Reviewing as Bridesmaid. The service is very quick and they're good at tailoring all dresses to the brides size if needed except if the dress is way too small. Although there's limited options for bridesmaid colors and styles so if you have a lot (more than 3) of bridesmaids I don't recommend this place. They don't expect tips every time you come. Also they're pretty good on time as well as having someone serve only us and not have other customers there. The makeup artist that did the bride's makeup had amazing skills and also followed the bride throughout her wedding ceremony to touch up as well as change makeup style with the different outfits she rented. The photographer from thus studio really helped us loosen up and have fun while taking pictures together. My dress was too tight on the day of the wedding and they allowed me to switch out to a looser dress last minute. I don't know what the price was but the bride told me it was a more budget friendly option and it included everything in the package. Just need to book appointments to come in every time and no walk-ins allowed. Also they didn't all speak Cantonese which made it a little harder to communicate. Only one person spoke English well enough to communicate with. It's best to speak mandarin which I and 1 other bridesmaid couldn't really. read more

A plus studio was an interesting experience for my husband and I. We actually went to Paris beforehand since everyone goes there but they were totally overpriced. We thought this would be a better option for us given the better selection of dresses and more reasonable price. As is the same for all Chinese places, you need to make sure you negotiate all prices and have everything listed in the contract before you agree to anything. I wanted to add things here and there and of course they were extra costs but they don't tell you that it isn't included in your package. The studio decided to increase the pricing of our 2nd photoshoot because of inflation of salary wages for the employees as she explained, but that was unprofessional in my POV. Our pre-wedding photoshoots came out pretty good! We had Richard and we enjoyed working with him. He was humorous and very professional. We also had Leo for one short photoshoot during our wedding day and absolutely loved his creativity and style. Also a very professional photographer. I have to say they have great photographers! Dresses and suits are okay. I wish they had more styles to choose from. You also need to make sure that you choose the dress ahead of time because other people can book the same dress and then you cannot wear it. Their bridesmaids dresses can't really change much unless you pay extra which sucks because I might as well buy my own then if I have to pay them to get the style I want. The wedding dresses I choose were gorgeous though so I was happy with that! The suits were good but one of the suits on the photoshoot for my husband was totally oversized and I don't know how that happened since we got fitted beforehand. One thing to make sure is if you are a proactive planner who likes things done ahead of time, this may not be the place for you. I experienced this. I constantly needed to follow up with the studio because they will simply contact you last minute to solidify all details. This really annoyed me because if they are the planners they should be the ones reaching out. Vicky helped us a lot during our whole process and can't thank her enough. There were rough bumps during the whole process but she helped us smooth them out and at the end, the wedding came together lovely. Went to this place because the wedding designer's website said they carried it and since it was close enough, I decided to go against my better judgement. Once I get there, there was no greeting I had to find someone ask them if they carried it. Immediately cuts me off and said they don't have any 2021 dress this year. I said okay but mine isn't 2021, and she saw I was pulling up the designer on my phone and says sorry don't have it. SHE JUST WALKS AWAY with no indication she is not coming back. She just left me standing there like an idiot with her back turned towards me and says "oh these are that designer but it's not that one okay?" Point is as soon as she saw I was not Asian, she was not interested at all, in servicing me. It's 2021 like be inclusive. Be warned unless you are Asian STAY AWAY. DONT Go!! You'll be super stressed before your wedding! This studio is dishonest! On the day I went to consult about the package, this lady Jenny (which I think is the owner) told me that I will get a new dress on my wedding day. I even had a fitting on the dress. However, 2 weeks before my wedding she told me that dress is not available because it needs to be on the model for 30 days!! She told me not to worry because there are new dresses that will come in, but they never did! The other wedding dresses they had were very old fashion and some even had holes! I end up getting my wedding dress elsewhere last minute, which is something that no bride should deal with! The second problem I had with the studio was the horrible attitude of the photographer. The photographer who took my outdoor pre-wedding picture, Richard (don't exactly remember his name) is very impatient. The photos also came out bad, we had a hard time picking photos from the bunch he took. For my opinion if u really have to go to this place record everything the person says when u consult the package or maybe put everything down on the contract!! read more

So glad I found this place. The packages are competitive and flexible. They have an amazing selection of stylish dress and gowns, great photographers (we used Chris), and fantastic staff. Jenny (I freakin love her) is a one woman business machine! She can do it all: hair, makeup, sewing, and she will keep you on schedule. She's a ball of energy! I had a stress free, smooth wedding because of her and the staff. It was a perfect and fun as I had hoped. Let's start by saying my wedding was a fairytale dream come true this past weekend on 10.14.18. I stumbled upon A Plus back in June 2018 as we decided to prepare for a wedding in NY. I am born and raised from NY but my husband Michael and his family are all from the UK. Now that doesn't sound easy to start with, but Jenny made asure it was possible for planning. All my husbands groommens were coming from the UK fitting literally the week of the wedding(3 days before) and guest what, it was done well. Back to the beginning of this journey with A Plus Studio. Jenny, Anthony, fitting staffs, makup/hair artists, photographers were amazing. We got recommended the MC and DJ, and florist from here. Why not when it can be done all at one place right ? Staffs were all very polite, generous, lovely and caring. The planning from day one to the day before the wedding day was successful. I had what I wanted and wished for my dream wedding. Our photos came out beautifully. (See for yourself below). Jenny definilty orders alot of wedding dresses and you can try them on once they are ready and not on hold or display. Just make sure you ask in advance and know what you want because you are not the only one getting married. We spoke with the studio via phone calls, wechat, email and in person so imagine the possible ways to contact them as needed. Jenny guides you through the wedding process and ask her if theres ang questions as well as Anthony. Anthony replies to emails quite quick as well. At last Michael and I are happy to have walked in here, gave our trust to them, and allowed them to prepare and plan with us. Throughout this whole wedding process, we have learned alot. They are less busy on weekdays which is great if you want their full attention but if not weekend works as well, but understand that they are busy because so many people look for them. I would recommend this studio. I picked Steven to be my photographer. He took our pre-wedding and wedding day photos. They came out amazing. He has an Instagram page by the name Jinboshota. You can also see his work on A+'s Facebook page. Although there were many options closer to home, this place had better packages to offer. Prices were reasonable. Make sure to ask questions and to tell them what you want. There were a few miscommunication but they were fixable. Also, try to pick out your dresses (brides, bridesmaids) sooner verses later. You want to be able to reserve them for your big day. Also, if you're waiting on shipment to come, I would still recommend picking out what's in stock and changing it later. I was expecting pink a batch of pink bridesmaid dresses and the order that came in was ivory. Luckily I still had time to reserve another dress because everything was done early. read more

I booked my entire wedding package there that included my engagement pictures, wedding day pictures, Chinese wedding dresses, evening dresses, limo service, photography service, restaurant decor, and MC and DJ. The team of Jenny, Anthony, Kaitlyn, and their support staff were very professional, kind, and courteous. They were very patience in answering questions and catered to our taste in dress styles. The studio is very new and clean. They offer a large selection of wedding dresses, Asian style dresses and evening dresses that are well-kept and up-to-date styles. One of the unique aspects of A+ Studio is they were willing to let us try on dresses before we sign a contract which made us feel very comfortable working with them. I went in several times to try on dresses and they arrange for us to meet with the MC and DJ before we made a final decision to use their services. They are very accommodating and are willing to work with me and my bridal party to understand our tastes and styles. They suggest we bring in pictures of hairstyles that we like so they can replicate the hairstyle for the big day. They made the day of my wedding easier: They help us plan our wedding day itinerary The A+ Studio team stopped by our restaurant right before the event to check in on things. That is truly nice of them to make sure everything is in order. We left the buttons for one of the groomsmen's tux at my house so we called the studio to lend us extras. They asked the limo driver to come pick up the buttons and deliver to our next destination. They are honest people which make me feel comfortable working with them. I accidently left my earrings at the studio on my wedding day and a week later I called them to find out if the earrings were there. Jenny, the A+ Studio manager, contacted me right away to let me know she found them. Special Recognition to: James the MC - He was recommended to us by A+ Studio and did a wonderful job in creating high energy and entertaining the guests. The games were unique and involved audience interactions that made it fun and hilarious. He spoke in both English and Cantonese which made things understandable for both the Chinese and American guests. Vinny the DJ - He was recommended by A+ Studio. Vinny was great! We gave him a list of songs that would like and he played every single one of them and added songs from the same genre. I felt so lucky to find A Plus Studio to help me record my important moment in my life. My wedding hold in Boston. The photographer Steven is very professional and nice! He always had some ideas about the poses , and sometimes he talked something fun jokes let us laugh, then he captured our laughing moment. Steven is very patience even though our lunch started very late until 3 oclock. He still kept to help us take photos. I remember I saved some photos in my phone, I supposed to show to Steven, but I forgot the photos where is it, and Steven he is very professional, he saved the photos which I showed to Anthorny before in his phone, then at the end he heled me took the good shot what I want. We decided to take a chance with this company since their price was much much sweeter than competitors.We were also able to watch some of their videos before booking them. We did not have a wedding package with A+ studio. But Jinbo is one of their photographers and I feel the need to go out of my way to say how amazing he was for our wedding. I also rented a very beautiful Chinese traditional dress from there. The dresses they have there are so pretty and very modern! The people I interacted from there are very professional and friendly. I wish I met them before I chose the vendor I had for my wedding... Now back to Jinbo... He is the one you want for your wedding! Our prewedding photos came out beautifully! I love the way he edited our photos. And he goes out of his way to get the perfect photo even if it gets his clothes dirty. Now.. The wedding day was so stressful.
