What an incredible renovation of the old mill! The area is picturesque. When you walk in you see the General store. Make you way to the hostess table and you will be greeted warmly. We were seated in a very timely manner. Our waiter Braxton greeted us brought us our drinks and gave a a few appetizer suggestions. We went with the spinach dip. This wasn't your normal dip much richer and almost had a smokey flavor served with toast. We got the short rib pasta and filet. The pasta was tender and the sauce was rich and creamy. It was layered over the short rib meat which was tender and full of flavor. Highly recommend this dish. The filet was over mashed potatoes with asparagus. The potatoes had great texture and nice chunks of potato as well. The asparagus was petite and cooked so there was just the slightest crunch. The filet sat on top with soft garlic cloves on it like a butter to spread over each delectable bite. We were not rushed and it was a great evening out with my wife! Been going to West Branson for 20 years and saw this open off hwy 65 this summer. Finally Went there to celebrate Friends-giving and it could not have been better. The moment we pulled in felt special as everything was lit-up for the holidays. The Ozark Mill restaurant is gorgeous on the River, we ate at the bar at Garrisons and Derrick the bartender was the perfect host. From the smoky Garrison bourbon to how he helped a foodie navigate the menu, everything was perfect and delicious. You will drop a few bucks but when you want a special night, Garrisons delivers. Another gem by Johnny Morris and this one doesn't have the same menu items used by several other of his holdings. Decor is typical JM (rustic) and prices are about the same as at his other places. Even though our group of 3 had two "misses" I'm still giving them 5 stars. The disappointments: the 3 bison meatballs appetizer. Average sized and at around $15, that equates to an Abe Lincoln PER serving. The farmer's vegetable plate (aka crudités). This might have been better either as raw vegetables or if they insisted on grilling them, then serve them hot. But something about limp, cold, cooked veggies was unappealing to me. The good: the service was excellent. Two of the dishes drew raves: the grain bowl and the house burger (we went at lunch). Honestly, the burger might be the best one I've ever tasted! Lastly, the green tomato cake was a surprise but very tasty. Now that we know what to order, we'll be back! read more

I was eating lunch with 6 other friends. We enjoyed everything. I had a spin on a Reuben, in that pulled pork was used. It was good, and the fries were nicely seasoned. I was full half way through, so I skipped dessert. I did sample the green tomato cake and it was delicious. Our waitress was very nice and provided us with good service. Ambiance and service were excellent. For the place that it is, the food was less than stellar (2.5-3 stars). Being right next to a farm none of the vegetables tasted fresh. We got the $76 shareable bbq plate. The greens tasted like vinegar and were acidic. The beans were overcooked. The coleslaw was not as fresh as I might have anticipated - very liquidy. The meat was cooked well but had to request more sauce to compensate for some dryness. The truffle fries were best thing we ordered. Since it was a shareable plate it needed to come with two aiolis (we did request a second to share amongst 4 people). For a nicer restaurant it's not a compliment to say the best item were the fries. To spend $135 and leave feeling like you could have made better food is always disappointing. If I were to go back I'd go for dessert and coffee and eat outside and enjoy ambiance and service. (Even then if that's the case I might would make a case you should just go to the Workshop nearby). I believe to truly make the food better the freshness of the ingredients needs to be enhanced (since I'm assuming they're picked/harvested nearby) and serve a fresher harvest rather than something that tastes like it harvested a few months ago. read more

I really like this place. The restaurants are great, and they treat us well. The servers have a good feeling for how much attention to pay the customers and those eating. It is a fine balance, and most of them do this well. The prices for the quality of food and experience is pretty decent, but I some of the Johnny Morris commercialism leaves a bad taste, at least over in the restaurants portion. The coffee house/cafe The Workshop is its own review, but both are welcome additions to teh Ozarks history celebration and total package of making Finley Farms a fun place to visit. read more

Best fries of my life!!! Normally I could care less about fries, but these were magical. The short rib burger was ridiculously good. Started with the Farmer's board of fresh roasted veggies and romesco sauce, if you appreciate veggies, this is the starter for you. The house made ravioli in pesto did not disappoint. What you expect from description is NOT what you get. $15 spinach dip is made with about five cheeses most of which I don't like. Not listed in description. Location has terrible signage. Handicap parking is a long way from entrance. I don't know how it got permit to open. Didn't help that lack of signs led us to look for entrance to nearby building not the one 25 yards farther to the north. Will not be returning. read more
