Ordered delivery old west omelette. Everything was delicious. The chicken sausage was really tasty. And I liked the potatoes

Lox and Works bagel

Great cozy breakfast spot with friendly staff. So so yummy! My friend took me to this place after our workout to reward ourselves! She highly recommended this place and I get why! All the bagels are homemade fresh daily. Many other breakfast items to pick from as well. They also made their own cream cheese! You can buy containers of cream cheese to go with your bagels. I got the Lox with the Works bagel! Omg it was heavenly. Bagel was toasty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The smoked salmon was not too salty, the homemade cream cheese paired so well with the bagel and all the toppings. I ate one and ordered another to go!

Bagels and coffee.

I loveee the plain toasted bagels with cream cheese. I tried an iced coffee last week and wasn't a fan of it but, the clerk made my coffee a million times better once I asked her how to make it sweeter. Great service. Not sure if I'll dine in again, I felt a bit crowded. Not a lot of space between tables for my personal preference but, I will do a carry out order.

Bagel with Lox Cream Cheese

The lox was recommended by others, but it didn't really stand out to me. There was so much cream cheese on the bagel that I couldn't finish it without feeling like I was eating a whole tub of cream cheese. The bagel was also not very soft and didn't taste too fresh, despite coming in the morning. The staff were friendly and there were plenty of tables available for working! Maybe it was an off day for the bagels.

Cinnamon bagel with strawberry cream cheese, Bagel

The menu spread was great. I wish the bagels were just a little more fluffy than dense. The strawberry cream cheese was really sweet. The cold rush smoothie was refreshing. A little on the pricy side, but great for a To-go meal.

Tiny side

Tried the Nosh Veggie, which was basically a bagel and cream cheese with a few veggies on it. The chicken salad looked miserable with hardly anything in the bin at 11am...aka leftovers from yesterday. The side dish of macaroni salad is so tiny, it is ridiculous. Obviously cheap owners and then the cashier guy can't wait two seconds to check his text messages after I order? Place stinks.

Counter and seating area

This place is consistently all-round wonderful!! Never disappointed. Our party orders a variety of bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and plates with good results.

This was a quaint little bagel stop- nothing fancy, but they did have friendly service, hot food, all the breakfast staples, and plenty of seating both inside and outside on the patio. Slightly expensive for what you get as the bagels didn't stand out to necessarily justify the costs above an Einsteins per se, as my egg/cheese bagel ($10+) was rather dry and I likely wouldn't get that again. The cafe did stay rather busy and seemingly is a favorite amongst locals.

Nicole S.

Very good bagels, looked like there were a lot of other traditional breakfast options as well. Always love an option for fresh orange juice too! Everyone working there was super friendly. It was a pretty good size inside and they have outdoor seating as well.

The best bagel in the valley! Super friendly staff, awesome bagels, and fresh cream cheese. :-) Oh and pretty reasonable price. What could I ask for more. Came here for a bagel, but super surprised that they have "full breakfast" menu, and I bet their other dish is as good as their bagels. I had a Jalapeño bagel with spicy habanero cream cheese, and omg.... I can't get over it. It's so so good. The bagel was super fresh and the cream cheese! It's da bomb!! And i got to taste their other cream cheese, they were all yum. I'd come here every day if I lived closer!!

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND READ THIS--Portillo's at 7200 W Ray Rd in Chandler Has Just Redefined…read more"Heaven on a Plate" with the BIG BEEF DIPPED and That CHEESE SAUCE... OMG! I've had Italian Beef before. I've loved Italian Beef before. But nothing--NOTHING--prepared me for the transcendent, jaw-dropping, flavor-explosion experience that is ordering the Big Beef DIPPED at this Chandler location. If you haven't done it yet, you haven't lived. And if you've had it elsewhere but haven't had it here with their cheese sauce... well, buckle up, because you're about to discover your new favorite thing on the entire planet. From the second you walk into Portillo's on Ray Road, you can smell the magic--crisp sport peppers, rich au jus, and that unmistakable aroma of slow-roasted beef that makes your stomach growl instantly. But the real moment of truth comes when you look that server in the eye and say: "I'll take the Big Beef, DIPPED, LOADED with cheese sauce. And I mean loaded." Watch their face light up--they know. They understand. This is not just a sandwich; it's a ritual, and this location performs it with reverence. Then it arrives. Oh. My. Goodness. The bread is drenched--and I mean perfectly, gloriously drenched--in that deep, savory au jus, so every inch is saturated with rich, beefy flavor. It's not soggy; it's luscious. It's a sponge for joy. And then... the cheese sauce. Sweet, spicy, velvety, liquid gold--it's like someone took pepper jack, dreams, and a touch of heaven and whipped it into a creamy, molten ribbon that cascades over every millimeter of that dipped bread and tender, shreddy beef. The first bite is not just a meal--it's a religious experience. The crunch of the giardiniera, the pop of a sport pepper, the warm, juicy beef, the cheese sauce pulling in golden strands... it's an OMG moment so intense you might actually forget your own name for a second. You'll hear yourself making sounds you didn't know you could make. You might cry a little (happy tears). You might order a second one before you've even finished the first. And here's the thing--the Chandler location executes this with flawless, almost artistic precision. The line moves fast, the staff is smiling, and they don't skimp. They don't hold back on the beef, they don't drizzle the cheese sauce like it's an afterthought--they PILE IT ON with pride. You can tell this team lives for these moments. They're not just serving food; they're delivering pure, unadulterated happiness. Even the atmosphere feels electric--like everyone in the room knows they're about to have their day made. You'll see strangers nodding at each other in mutual respect over their sandwiches. You'll hear "OMG!" echoed across the dining room (seriously). And when you finish that Big Beef Dipped--cheese sauce glistening on every corner, not a drop of au jus left--you'll sit back with a food coma smile so wide it hurts, already plotting your next visit. Bottom line: If you are within 50 miles of 7200 W Ray Rd, you have no excuse. Go. Right now. Order the Big Beef DIPPED with EXTRA cheese sauce. Thank me later. And maybe bring a napkin--because that cheese sauce is so good, you're going to want to lick every last drop off your fingers. Five stars? Try FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS PLUS A STANDING OVATION! This is the best sandwich I've ever had in my life, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal to be this good.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect. I'm excited to see the future of this establishment,

I really wanted to like this spot, especially as a fan of a well-balanced bánh mì. The sandwich was generous and good value, loaded with meat, but the execution didn't quite come together. The vegetables were tucked toward the back of the bun, making it hard to enjoy that classic balance in each bite. The mayo was far too heavy and the meat leaned overly sweet, which threw off the overall flavor. It also could have used more jalapeños and cilantro to bring some freshness and contrast. The bread was crispy, which was nice, but it was much larger in size and shape than a traditional baguette, leaning more toward a big roll than that light, airy texture you'd expect. Overall, good value but missed the mark on balance and authenticity for me. Saluti.

In this visit yesterday, I stopped in and ordered The Hang Loose and Hero. First and foremost, the store is kept very clean. I'll give them that. However, the cashier Derrius was so unhappy he should've been placed in the back to where he couldn't be seen. His customer service was terrible. When ordering our sandwich, he seemed very annoyed. Never greeted us and never made eye contact. Never understood teens who hate their job but continue to work for a job they absolutely hate doing. My sandwiches that took 32 minutes to make, mind you, there was one man waiting in store before us and two people waiting after us, were beyond terrible. The store was not busy at all. One girl on the line had to tell her coworkers in the back to help her as she was the only one making sandwiches. My sandwiches were made so terrible with little to no meat. The hang loose had less than one strip of bacon and little to no pastrami. I asked for the bread not to be toasted, so they did not heat up the meat. Like, what?!? The condiments were sloppily placed on the bread. The hero was just a mess. Plain mess with little to no meat. I know sandwich shops weigh their meat but this couldn't have been the proper weight. For these sandwiches to cost as much as they do, I'm expecting close to perfection. Needless to say, I won't be back anymore and can't recommend this place in good faith as I've given too many chances without complaining in store.
