My husband bought a pair of Doc in a different location and realized it does not fit his work attire. It was barely worn, he just put it on and walk around the house with his work clothes to see how they look. Bottom shown no sign of dirt if not brand new. I could already tell from the start when he began examining the shoes that he isn't going to let us return it. Sure enough, he told us that he won't accept the return but can make an exception if we buy something with equal or greater value, he can make the switch. I came in the other day to buy something and needed some help deciding what to go with. Funny enough, the two workers came across the counter and modeled the clothes to help give me a visual I have never had people help me like that. Shoutout to homegirl with the braids and brother with the curly hair -- y'all are awesome fr. I've been helped by other people like Asif for instance. That guy's genuinely great at his job. He knows the store's stock while representing what VANS looks and feels like. Solid employee I met the store manager not too long ago either and he's helpful and friendly! I'm glad to see a place have consistently great customer service. Everyone here genuinely cares about what they do and that's honestly really great. As for the selection here? He was a Hispanic/Latino employee wearing a dark shirt. He seemed bothered and told me only the work shoes were waterproof. That turned out not to be true because I later found shoes in the style I wanted that clearly said "100% waterproof" on the label. I also asked another employee, a younger muscular guy, for help with running shoes and got the same bothered attitude. He even walked away while I was still talking. I came in feeling positive and ready to shop, but left frustrated by the lack of help and poor customer service. The only good thing I can say is that the store does have a huge selection and many different styles. I originally expected to only buy work shoes, but ended up finding running shoes too. Also, they advertise 50% off the second pair, but I was charged full price for both pairs. Maybe there was fine print, but it was not clearly explained and felt misleading.
