No need to apologize as it's always worth waiting a few minutes for a fresh cup. When she bought out the coffee, the milk was a little bit curdled and I mentioned could she please bring me a fresh cup with new milk? She apologized several times and in the end wound up camping the cup of coffee and my Arnold Palmer drink and discounted the chicken Parmesan. This is the right way to run a restaurant. I will definitely be back. As far as the chicken Parmesan, it was absolutely delicious. What I like about it is the entire chicken is covered in mozzarella. Really enjoyed it.

The entire restaurant was clean, including the restroom. I started off with a Moretti beer. I wanted to try the Bolognese egg rolls with vodka sauce. Lots of reviews about them. There were 4 eggrolls so this is a great app to share. They were very good, crunchy exterior and ample Bolognese and cheese. The vodka dipping sauce had a nice little kick to it. Brillliant idea. I then had the Fettuccine Alpha Romeo, with cream, egg yolk, pecorino, and panchetta; a cross between Carbonara and Alfredo, which is usually not my go to dish, but it sounded delectable. The portion was generous and the dish was rich and the pasta was al dente. I thought it could only have been improved upon by having the panchetta a tad crispy , but on second thought the way is is prepared is the way to go with this dish. Layers of flavor in this dish. Service was excellent, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. I loved the option to sit outside. I very much enjoyed my experience and recommend and plan to return to try the pizza and more! The waiter told me they have a prix fixe menu for $16 lunches during the week!

It was after a snow storm, but so glad they were open. We tried a custom pizza, fried mozzarella and clams. Everything we order tasted AMAZING! We were served by who I believe is the owner. Great energy from him. Very welcoming server/bartender. Next time we're in the area, we'll try other menu items. I know whatever we order will be delicious. Thank you!

In this new collaborative venture between the two, DeTommaso and Riccio serve authentic New York-style pizza in a friendly and casual atmosphere. The name "Vespino" is a reference to a brand of mopeds which are a popular mode of transportation in major Italian cities. In addition to the signature New York-style pizza, the menu also consists of Detroit-style pizza, Italian entrees, pasta dishes, salads, classic antipasti, beer, wine and craft cocktails. In summer 2024, Vespino was sold to restaurateur Marcelo Acosta. My family and I recently had dinner at Vespino for the first time. We've had them on our "must-try" list of restaurants for some time and we were excited to finally sample their food. There were some fancy-sounding drinks on their cocktail menu, so I decided to order the "Sardinian Special" (Redemption bourbon, prickly pear, citrus, mint). This delicious cocktail reminded me of being on a warm Italian beach: a nice distraction from the freezing cold temperatures outside. The restaurant itself has a small takeout area when you first walk in, but through the double doors there's a full dining room with a bar, so it's larger than it initially appears. While we only tried the pizza this visit, after looking at photos of the menu on Yelp, id say their dinner dishes look delicious. I'd definitely come back and try their chicken and pasta!
