Always get half salad half pizza! Nothing fancy but classic place vist when I'm in the ct area and watch a game!

We've been going to colony for nearly 10 years, since I first started at Fairfield U. The pizza is always consistently good, and the staff does a great job of bringing them out quickly. No frills, just great food! It's usually pretty unchanged here, but on this visit we did try their new buffalo chicken special and drinks on this visit, and we were definitely impressed. Always makes for a great walk down memory lane and I can't wait for many more visits!

Super cool place. Liked the vibe on a Sunday evening which was surprisingly jam packed. Pizza was good. I ordered a breakfast pizza with both sausage and bacon. Loved the sausage, not a fan of the bacon. My friend ordered the salad pizza which I tried and also enjoyed. Tasted like a salad, duh, and the crust acted as croutons. Rather unique.

Hopping spot with quick seating, good pizza, efficient and pleasant service. The restaurant was teaming with patrons but we were seated by a hostess and greeted by a server in a very timely and friendly way. This here is thin-thin-thin crust pizza, so know that before you go. Also, nothing but pizza on the menu. Hot oil pizza is a must. Srsly, it is very tasty and not so hot to be off putting for those worried about too spicy.

Visiting from California, Such a vibe!! Colleen was our waitress, she made it 100x better. The pizza the vibes, customer service 10/10. Californias got nothing on this place. Highly Recommend this spot.... FYI: Thin slice pizzas!

Pizza, like it was left on a counter overnight.

I am super surprised. We've always loved Colony, live just a few blocks away. But today, the pizza was delivered (right away) as dry a a bone. Cheese congealed into the crust, it was not edible. Seriously, as if it had been sitting out on the counter overnight. So bummed.

I'm a New Haven native and pizza is such a thing. I came here twice as I thought maybe the first time was off. Nope. I really don't understand why the high reviews and comparison for the best pizza around. It's thin crust -- I'll give it that. But too thin. I just wasn't a fan. I know it's a staple to the area and people seem to love it, and hopefully they'll continue to thrive. Just wasn't my thing. Friend had a hot oil pizza and I had a pepperoni and onion. She's not from the area but also agreed that it wasn't a pizza she's come back to order again.

Hot oil pizza!

Great vibe with tributes to our service men and women on the walls. Great service always. They win best bar pizza, thin crust, hot oil pizza for me. I've tried others I won't name, but, colony just wins. That what I have l, every time. Love it!

My bf and I stopped by for a late dinner on the way to nyc and we were very impressed! I've heard good things about Connecticut pizza, but this was the first time having it. We ordered our own pizzas because they looked small enough but looks are deceiving. I got bacon, olives, and hot oil (as recommended by other reviews) and it was delicious! I wish the pizza was a little spicier, and wish I subbed the bacon for something else as it made the pizza greasier but overall I really enjoyed it. The service was a little slow, which was surprising because the restaurant itself wasn't very busy. Nonetheless we still had a great time and would love to come back again!

hot oil, stingers, sausage

We came around 5pm on a Saturday and it was filling up fast. We got seated in a booth and the service was attentive. This place is good for little kids as it's loud so you're not disturbing your neighbors. Ordered the pizza with stingers (whole roasted spicy peppers), hot oil, and sausage. This was my first time eating the famous Connecticut super thin pizza and bear in mind that I'm a Nyer! I didn't love the pizza but it was good. I would have omitted the hot oil as it made the pizza to slippery and did not amplify the taste. The personal pizza size could probably feed 1.5 people. As someone who eats spicy, I didnt think the stingers were too hot and the hot oil had a small hint.

Came back here yesterday and I can't say enough. It was busy and the hostess told us it would be a 45 min wait, but we were seated in 20 min. I got a Twisted Tea, and we got three pizzas: 1. Half cheese, half sausage 2. Hot oil, stingers, and half olive 3. Salad pizza Everything came out promptly and tasted amazing! Hands down one of the best thin crust pizza places I've tried! I can't wait to come back!

Blind Rhino Milford: A Sports Fan's Dream Come True!…read more For anyone on the hunt for the perfect venue to watch a game in Milford, the newly opened Blind Rhino at 21 Daniel St. is an absolute must-visit! This lively spot has taken over the former Eli's Tavern, and the excitement surrounding it is palpable. Earlier in the day, while strolling with our dog, we couldn't help but notice the buzz about Blind Rhino. After completing our invigorating 3-mile walk, we hurried home, eager to dive into this new sports haven. Upon entering, we were immediately enveloped by the vibrant atmosphere--crowded, loud, and filled with the irresistible aroma of wings and spirited conversations. If you're a devoted New York Knicks or Pittsburgh Steelers fan, this place is basically a new home away from home! With TVs strategically positioned throughout the restaurant and a mean a lot of TV's , you can catch every thrilling moment of the game, whether it's a jaw-dropping slam dunk or a nail-biting last-minute touchdown. Now, a word about parking--while it can be a bit of a challenge in Milford, those willing to take a short stroll from the town center will find themselves at this sports paradise in no time, likely faster than a Steelers linebacker can sack a quarterback. And being right across from the Stonebridge, a Milford staple. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that they were running a happy hour special--$5 beers and ciders! And discounted appetizers. In the spirit of supporting local businesses, I chose a Tribus Benjie, which paired perfectly with our meal. To kick things off, we ordered a round of dry rub chicken wings that were spicier than a Knicks fan's reaction to a missed call. These wings were not only tender but also bursting with flavor, setting a high bar for the rest of our dining experience. Now, let's talk about my main course--the Cheese Steak. This delectable sandwich was piled high with thinly-sliced ribeye, sweet Vidalia onions, and a generous portion of new American cheese ( as they posted on the menu ) . It was so good that I almost forgot I was in Connecticut and not at a bustling eatery in Philadelphia! My dining companion opted for the Lomo wrap, which was a delightful mix of grilled ribeye, sautéed red onions, and tomatoes, all wrapped up with fries and drizzled with a zesty cilantro sauce. Who knew fries could be so revolutionary? Both sandwiches came accompanied by homemade fries that were perfectly crispy and delightfully salty. A special shoutout goes to our server, Ashley, who was as cheerful as a Steelers fan celebrating a touchdown. Her friendly and attentive service truly enhanced our experience. Now, let's address the intriguing name of the establishment--Blind Rhino. We couldn't help but wonder if there's a fascinating story behind it. Is it a nod to the quirky side of sports culture, or perhaps a reference to an adventurous tale? Whatever the origin, it certainly piques curiosity and adds a unique charm to the place! In summary, if you're looking to escape the confines of your home, indulge in delectable pub grub, and cheer for your favorite sports teams, make your way to Blind Rhino! With no bad seats in sight and a lively atmosphere, you're in for a fantastic time. Let's go Knicks! Let's go Steelers!

They have the best wings in Norwalk! I'm always completely satisfied when I order them. Plus,…read morethey're one of the few places around that has good sour beers!! It's always a great vibe there. Never too loud, but full of energy. Food can be a bit slow when they're busy, but it comes out very fresh.
