While on the pricey side, the high quality and expert knowledge by the staff really makes such a difference in finding what you may be looking for. They also offer cheese classes and other events which sound fantastic (check their website). We will be back and I definitely encourage a stop in. Paci occupies the old Southport train station, and the renovation has been handled with evident respect: the bones of the building are beautiful, and they have been allowed to speak. The setting does much of the work. Metro-North trains glide past the windows, lending the room a gentle, cinematic rhythm, a reminder of arrivals and departures while one lingers happily in between. Service is warm without being cloying. The staff are friendly in the unforced way that suggests genuine hospitality rather than rehearsed script. The furnishings betray the architecture.
