This place was recommended by a waitress this morning when we went for breakfast for my (step)daughter and I to have a girls' day out, so I thought we'd give it a try! It's a great little find! We weren't sure where to go because it's been forever since I've had my nails done & being only 11, she's never had them done! I got the dip (never had that before & don't even know how much it was...lol) and my daughter got gel with nail art. The nail techs were super nice & gentle with my daughter! She got two colors of polish and nail art on her accent nail on each hand. I think it was a great experience for both of us... cost me a little more than I expected, but... Older lady was rude all because I wanted my nail color to match match toenail polish color. I already had my toes pedicured from a different place. She told me to find the color myself and try to almost throw the color chart at me rushing me. I told I am not gonna rush I still had time. It wasn't even my turn for service. Very rude. Pretty impressed. I didn't wait very long though there was a couple clients in front of me. The pedicure was great. My tech did a great massage with the exfoliating scrub. Wish there would have been more with the lotion but it was still really nice. He did a good job polishing my toes. Did a good job with my full set as well though he did skimp on polishing the top of my nails (the front edge). Grand total for a pedicure and full acrylic set with regular polish was under $45 which I thought was great. I'd come back for sure. read more

I came here twice. The first time I had a guy do my nails and he was nice but the quality wasn't great. It's close to my house so I decided to go back to try it again today. This time I got an older woman who was literally the most rude nail tech I've ever had in my life. Grabbed my wrist and arm not gentle at all multiple times, would move my fingers different ways that they couldnt bend & seemed to be SO irritated that I was even there. The only time she was nice to me was when I was paying lol. I actually thought to myself at least twice that I was going to get up, pay & leave to go somewhere else to have a different nail place finish them because it was so awful being there. Also, I came in with coffin-shaped nails but now I have a mix of square & coffin-shaped and they're all rough around the edges......... read more

Came in for a fill, shellac w. coffin shape the lady I believe her name is Lina she sits at desk 1, was VERY rude to me wasn't taking any of my requests seriously i asked for COFFIN nails and she wouldn't fix the shape nor would she SIMPLY take out nail polish remover to remove the paint off my skin. I will NEVER come here again, I would never recommend anyone to come to this nail salon. I am never one to complain, this was my first time coming to this salon but for the nail lady to completely ignore my every request is very rude and unprofessional. read more

Awful! I will not go here again. First of all, what should've taken no more than an hr and a half at the MOST took over 2 hours!!! Second, my cuticles bled on several of my nails and when the guy finished the skin around my nails was damaged and torn. I pointed it out to the guy. He filed some more on the sides, which I believe is what damaged it in the first place. It hurt like hell and when I told him that, he just laughed. I tried to tell another lady and they just started talking in a different language. No solution offered. I love the color but honestly the skill and the service is heavily lacking in this place. I just got a pericure done by this yong lady, usually my pedi is done by the old lady and she does a good job. This lady I walked in at 11:35, I was out by 12:00 rushed me so quck . I had to tell her a few times things she didn't do. She never put lotion or oil on my toes. The worse pedicure I have ever got. I tiped her 2$ on purpose and she start speaking in her language. Plz next time take your time so you can deserve your tip. read more

My mom and I have been going to the Nails Place for a few years now. We first went because it's really close to my parents' house, but we continued going back because we love the people and they do an awesome job. We can usually expect to not be there very long as well. Tony was my technician last night and did an amazing job on my nails, while keeping the whole place laughing (great multitasker). Also, if you have an issue biting your nails, go to Tony! He swears he can talk anyone out of it and make their nails beautiful again. I don't know from experience, but one of his clients showed him her nails while he was doing mine and was so proud of herself. And then he told me all about it I didn't realize they were on Yelp, or else I would have reviewed a long time ago. Love them! read more

The place itself is dirty. And they could use an update on the furniture. And FYI, they also say they can book appointment for you, "if you call in." Just know they don't. Everything is walk in. Over the phone they will say "okay" & then don't write anything down. (I've witnessed that) and they won't even ask for the name regarding who is coming in for the appointment. They hung up before I could even say my name. As soon as you walk in with your "appointment" you're going to be waiting in line with everyone else. Don't be fooled. I went here once and a man did my nails and they looked nice, he was efficient and it was reasonably priced. This time it was a totally different experience. I never write negative reviews but this was bad enough that I decided to. The woman just blobbed on the acrylic, I asked her to make my nails round (which the guy before had no problem doing) and she said "no square too short" one of the nails was obviously crooked... and there was polish all over my skin when she was done... they just looked sloppy and the acrylic was thick and uneven. I could have done a better job on them myself. I was pretty disappointed with it and I got the courage up to ask her to at least take the polish off of my cuticles and she gave me an attitude and was really rough and obviously annoyed that I asked her to fix just the extra sloppy polish that I just decided to forget about the ugly shape or fixing the crooked nail. Then just to add insult to injury, she OVERCHARGED ME! I got shellac and a pedi and their prices are very clearly posted and she overcharged me by three dollars. It's only three dollars, I know, but to me it was the principle of the situation. Terrible customer experience... rude tech lady. I'll never go back. It's a shame because my first experience was actually ok... but her bad attitude was enough for me to decide never to go back. They charged me $25 for my nails when the price says $20 for short acrylic. Plus they glued tips on then they had me wait over 2 hours to get finished. 3 people walked out before me that came IN AFTER ME. Terrible place . read more

Never again. I went for a shellac mani and a pedi. The nail color was more on my skin than my nails itself, and I didn't receive a mani and still got charged for it. I told them I didn't receive a mani when I asked for one and they said they wouldn't charge me for it, i handed the lady my card and she gave it back to me saying "oh no I charged it." I started going here because it's right around the corner from my house and they have great prices. No frills, nothing fancy nail salon, but it is clean and they do a good job. Sometimes it's hit or miss on who you get to do your nails, I once had a pedicure take almost an hour and a half. I think the girl was new or not that experienced, but she still did a nice job. The 3 men seem to do a really good job. My acrylics looked great last time I went (first time getting acrylics there). Most of the time they can get you right in, but sometimes get busy. One Sunday afternoon they were short staffed and I was told to come back in 1 hour and they would get me right in. I said I had plans in 2 hours, so 1 hour from now was fine, but I would not be able to wait any longer. When I arrived back, I ended up waiting another 35 minutes and had to call my family to delay our plans so I could get my nails done (leaving for vacation the next day). That was only disappointing experience I've really had there and still go regularly. read more
