When I came in, I was told to pick a color and have a seat in the pedicure chair. There was water in the basin but it was ice cold. I stuck my feet in it, not expecting it to be freezing and then promptly took my feet out. I sat there for about 15mins freezing, with the door open and wind blowing on my cold (and now wet) feet. Eventually, someone did come and put warm water in the basin, but at that point my feet had no time to soak before my pedi started. The tech barely did any removal of callus'. She also clipped my toenails crooked and left sharp edges. I have poor eye-sight so I can't really see my toes from that far away so I didn't notice the sharp edges and crooked filing until I got home and my husband said something. So much for treating myself.

I didn't know it would be so hard to find a place that offered this specific service only, but it was very difficult. After contacting about 10 spas, I found Spa in the Woods on Yelp, and read some reviews that I was satisfied with. So I decided to book the service, along with a full body massage service for my friend. And I'm so glad that I did decide to go with this spa! My initial observation of the spa was that is very clean, and the front desk staff was nice and professional. The appointments started right on time, and my appointment was with a young lady named Samantha. Samantha was super friendly and just had an overall sweet demeanor. She did a great job with my foot massage, and usually when I receive a spa service, I don't talk, but we both talked and we're engaged in conversation the entire 30 minutes of the massage. I couldn't believe how fast the time flew! I enjoyed the massage, and my only regret was that I didn't book an hour massage, opposed to the 30 minutes. I plan to return for about foot massage soon!
