We were in the Troy area and looking for a nail salon to stop in quick and get a pedicure. They took us right away which was nice and the staff were pretty friendly. However, the pedicures were kind of lackluster and my husband said his was kind of rough. He had the Blossom Pedicure which is their top service. I wish they massaged a little bit more for my basic pedicure, overall the service just seemed rushed. The massage chairs they had were nice and comfy at least. We had a great experience here. I called around 11am and asked to come around 5PM. They were honest and said they'd be busy then and asked if we could come anytime before 3:45 so I told him that my mom, daughter, and I would come around 3. We arrived 10 minutes early and they took us right in. They even had the cutest little chair for my daughter. Jenny was so kind and even did my eyebrows when I asked at the last minute. So my nail-enthusiast friend told me that I should look for nail salons with at least 4.5 stars on Yelp. Glad I was able to stumble across Blossom which happened to be super close to my parent's house in Troy. I went on Black Friday and was able to get an appointment at 11 AM - had called 30 minutes prior! The interior was nice and spacious, and my friend and I were offered bottled water immediately, which was great! I had to remove the leftover polish which was done pretty quickly in 30 minutes. Overall, it was a chill experience while I got to catch up with my friend while getting a manicure! I liked that they had this really nice light blue color which I ended up choosing. Getting gel nails was $34, which is a pretty decent price, I think. I attached the pictures below! What amazed me was how quickly my nail technician (different than the person who removed the old polish) got my nails painted AND she did an amazing job. Her name is Jenny, I believe. I'm pretty sure she finished in less than 30 minutes and she barely made any mistakes, too. My friend and I were both really impressed by how quickly and how well done my nails were. I liked the way she shaped my nails, which were a little horrendous prior to this nail appointment. After my nails dried, she also gave me a hand massage using cherry blossom scented lotion and then wrapped them in a hot towel. Overall, a great experience and I would 100% come back again. It's been 14 days since I've gotten my nails done but they still look great! Nothing peeled off yet, and I'm excited to come back to get my nails done again when I go back to Troy over the holidays. read more

The cleanest, kindest, most professional nail salon I've ever been to! Every time I've come to Blossom I've experienced nothing short of the most considerate care I've ever had at a nail salon. This most recent time, I needed an appointment before the weekend of my anniversary. Tam took me for a full mani/pedi 30 minutes before closing to ensure I received service prior to my special event. She even stayed late for me and did not skip a single step to get me out sooner. She was so happy, kind, and truly cared about my experience. All of the tools used are so clean and she was meticulous yet efficient in both services I received. My nails turned out beautifully! I got my nails done and the next morning one of them was broken already when I called in to get it fixed they told me I would have to wait two hours to get it fixed. You would think they would take responsibility for the incorrect application of the nails, but they did not. They didn't care so therefore I went over to another nail salon instead. The lack of service and incorrect application is my complaint and they had a chance to fix it and take 10 minutes to rectify and rudely declined. read more

I was able to get in the day of which was nice. I got a blossom pedi with shellac. It was a cute place with nice (massage) chairs/bowls. Very sanitary. I felt the technician was thorough. The only thing was that they didn't let me soak, just drilled off the shellac I had on and started so I didn't really like that. I also felt the hot stones and massage was rushed. It wasn't the time as much as the speed, if that makes sense. Like slower soft movements would've been more relaxing than fast. But all in all it was a very nice experience and I would go back. I came to Blossoms twice and will more than likely not be returning. My first visit was with the nail tech Jenny. I was impressed with her work and decided to come again. My nails even lasted 3 weeks without a chip! But due to my second visit with Jackie, I have lost my enthusiasm. She applied the powder all over my nail fold and skin. After the service, I still had product stuck to the skin around my nail bed. The majority of my edges were not smooth. And when I asked, at the end, for them to be filed down: I was cut on my ring finger. I bled and she apologized. After that, I told her to please stop and that I would rather do it myself at home. I am usually pretty good about pedicures, but this summer got away from me real quick with school at work. I was in desperate need of a pedicure, and decided to try this place out for a few reasons. First, they get amazing reviews, second it's close to work so I am familiar with the location. I made an initial appointment for last saturday since I had a host of different errands to run, and this was last on my list. I got done with my other things and got here half an hour early. They were unable to take me 30 minutes early and wanted me to wait. To be honest, I didn't have time so I rescheduled the appointment for this Saturday. I think they only have two pedicurists here, and that might be why they wanted me to wait. Walking in today, they greeted me by name and I was seated right away. I loved all the extras that I got, which was fabulous. For $30, I got the usual pedicure, but I also enjoyed the hot towels on my legs, the orange scrub for my feet and legs, along with a hot stone massage. It really made it quite relaxing. My pedicurist did an excellent job scrubbing my feet, and took her time. She was actually really good! Found Blossom Nails through Yelp and I was so glad i did! I walked in and was able to get a manicure/pedicure right away. Nancy was the technician who did my nails and she did such a great job! The pedicure chair was really comfortable and the pedicure was probably the best one I've ever had! She really pampered my feet and the hot stones and sugar scrub was so relaxing. She did a fantastic shellac manicure also and they guarantee their work for two weeks no chipping. Friendly staff! I accidentally went to a different location and showed up a minute late for my appointment, but Dave helped my friend and I settle down as soon and smooth as possible. I tried to find a nail salon that was very clean for pedicures/manicures and took safety measures seriously while dealing with COVID-19--THIS was the spot! Before touching anything, my friend and I had to use hand sanitizer and put gloves on to pick out our colors. My friend and I sat across from each other. They also lined the tubs and cleaned it after one use. I enjoyed my pedicure with Jenny! She was so sweet and did a great job. Tam did my Extension Dip Powder Nails. I absolutely loved how detail orientated Tam was! My nails came out PERFECT! I took off one star only because my friend's experience was not the best. I love blossom nails and I won't go anywhere else. Jenny is my go to girl - she writes down the color I get each time in case I want a redo. I am a dip girl and they always look great for weeks. The blossom pedicure is elite as well. You get wax, a 15 min massage, hot towel, scrub, hot stone massage and ofc beautiful nails. Prior to going, I called to inquire about walk ins and they recommended making an appointment to be able to best service me. I was able to set an appointment within a reasonable timeframe. When I arrived, I appreciated not having to wait and not feeling rushed out. You guys. You guys! This salon is fabulous. I've never been to a nail salon before where they are on point with guest services. Dave, the owner, texted the day prior to confirm my appt. When I arrive, Dave greeted me, asked me to wash my hands, as most places do, and then had me take a seat in the pedicure chair. He have me the colors and asked that I put on a pair of gloves to choose one- they are top notch with their COVID precautions! As I reached down to roll up my pant legs, my phone fell in the water ‍, Dave didn't waste a second and grabbed a dry towel for me, then checked back to make sure my phone was ok. The whole time I was here, while the ladies worked, Dave was running around getting anything they needed, greeted customers, and cleaned stations. I have been coming here every two weeks for almost a year now. Dave is unmatched in the area. He is kind, organized, and does the right thing. He doesn't overbook appointments. He's very professional and hospitable. The salon is very clean. And my nails always look great. I have my nails dipped with Heidi who is incredible. My boyfriend and I came here last Saturday for the first time for pedicures and a manicure dip for me. It came out perfectly in my opinion. The nail technician had attention to detail and did both my pedicure and manicure. We did gel but next time I'm going to ask to do a fancier one. Still the gel one was nice with hot stone massage and was a solid pedicure. Not the best I've ever had, but definitely good. The place was calm and quiet, people talked but I personally did not see TVs everywhere & nobody was being excessively loud or rude (customers I mean). So it was a pleasant atmosphere. I couldn't get into my usual nail place and really needed a pedicure. After reading reviews I called Blossom and was able to get an appointment within an hour. When I arrived I was greeted by name by Dave, the gentleman up from. He provided me with colors to choose from and offered me water or tea. Within minutes I was escorted back to the pedicure area. The pedicure area was clean and sanitary. The massage chairs are comfortable and not broken like many of the nail salons I've visited. My nail tech was Sasha, a very sweet young lady. She was very thorough and took her time. I wish the massage part was longer but overall, it was a nice pedicure. I went in with high expectations based on the reviews. And my nails do look great! But I am not entirely happy. I went in for a shellac manicure appointment and switched it last minute to the dip powder, which my nail tech was happy to do. She shaped my nails cut the cuticles, she was so harsh and in such a hurry, two of my fingers were bleeding. She still didn't ease up. Finally after applying the polish she filed my nails again and the same thing I must have told her that its hurting at least 4 times before she finally started bring gentle. Also there was no lotion applied no hot towel nothing. I mean a standard manicure at least includes lotion correct? Also she put cuticle oil on my entire hands up to my wrists not just cuticles which was weird. I wanted to like this place... I tried but I don't think I will come back. read more
