Then one of the staff asked My Grandson did he want his nails done? When I arrived Wednesday afternoon, I was told it would be half hour wait. There were 7 people waiting in front of me and lots of full stations. These nail techs were all busy, and I'm pretty patient and don't mind waiting. When my turn came, I got a lady who went so fast, like if you video someone doing a mani pedi and then speed it up about 5x. My feet are pretty decent with the exception of the heels were a little rough, so I always expect heels will get the majority of attention. She somehow cut the bottom of my foot in the arch area where no tools should have been because there was absolutely nothing wrong in the arch of my foot! I felt discomfort a couple of times during this pedi but I didn't realize I had been cut at the time it happened until I really felt it as I was walking out to my car. It should be noted that, at one point during the pedi, her cell phone rang, so she actually got up, got her phone, and put her earbuds in to remain on the phone during the rest of my visit, including while she did the manicure, which was done just as fast and is not the neatest mani I've ever had but at least my hands were not cut. I paid, she polished my nails, then put me at the dryer and disappeared. I walked out without a peep from anyone until the very last second when the tech in front by the door yelled "thank you." Now, two days later, my foot is still very sore (now that I've actually had to walk on this cut). I have seen many comment about this place being so clean, I can only pray that is the case and that I didn't get cut and then pick up some infection. Look elsewhere if you are seeking a spa where you will be pampered or at least treated with a reasonable amount of attention for what they are doing. All Star Nails will shuffle you in and process you like cattle... it really did feel that way and I will not be back. read more

Let me just off by saying I have been to this salon a total of 4 times. Each time with a different staff member. 1st time was pretty good. It was on a Sunday around 11:30ish. I waited a total of 35 minutes for a shellac mani/pedi. I got a young gentlemen who ended up doing both the mani and pedi. The salon itself was very clean and I was super impressed. The gentle did the best pedicure and took his time with my manicure. The polish itself lasted the full two weeks until I came back for another mani/pedi and polish change. Second time I came in I got a middle aged women, who rushed through my pedicure and my manicure. It was to say the least an average visit. I told myself next time I come in, ill see if I can just have the younger man do my nails again. The polish didn't even last past a week which was super disappointing. Next visit, I got an older gentleman. (Younger guy wasn't there.) He was extremely rough with my pedicure. My toenails hurt after words. My polish on my hands was all over my fingers. It literally looked like a toddler did them. I left super frustrated contemplating on finding a new place. THEN the polish lasted 4 DAYS! I was mad that I wasted $60 on a mani pedi that didn't even last! My last and final incounter was 3 days ago. I waited over 45 minutes with a girlfriend of mine. They took clients before us. I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted (listed below) and she asked if I would like shellac polish. Obviously I said no because it clearly doesn't last and then she proceeds with my pedicure. Half way through she tells me the chrome cant be done on regular polish? It has to be shellac? So I said nevermind with the chrome just do the regular polish. Then once my pedicure is complete with the solid base color she tells me she cant even do the ombre on my big toe because I didn't choose shellac? Wait, WHAT?! I was highly frustrated and was not even about to do my nails but since it was my only day off and I was going to be there till my friends nails were done I decided to proceed. She was extremely rough with my cuticles, I actually pulled my hand away twice because it hurt. She made comments regarding my hairstyle in a rude joking manner. Needless to say a waste of money. Here I am, 3 days later, my nail polish is changing colors. The top coat is chipping off. And all in all, I didn't even get what I wanted. I'm so unhappy with this place. The guy doing my nails was on his cell phone most of the time, and he did a sloppy job on the polish. There is nail polish around my nails he didn't remove even after I asked. Never coming back here. For one thing, the staff wasn't really nice. My friend and I went for mani/pedis. They did not have many color choices. Very small selection. They had us sit and didn't start on me until 30 minutes after starting on my friends. They seemed understaffed. Even when he eventually did start, the service was very slow. I got a shellac manicure and after FOUR days, the color started peeling. The next day, two of them came right off. A regular polish would last longer than that! Worst shellac mani I've ever had. Not only that, but all of my fingers were extremely itchy for 2 days after. That's never happened to me at my regular nail salon. Definitely had me nervous about them not cleaning their equipment well enough or something...I was almost going to go back to show them what a terrible job they did, but it was so bad I didn't even want to go back. read more

This place is OK. Seems pretty clean and prices are reasonable. The pedicure they did was acceptable but nothing extraordinary. Drying station is very cramped. The staff is not very friendly or attentive. I usually do not mind when they speak to each other in their language, but the staff at this place practically yelled at each other across the salon the entire time in their language and it was a little much. The lady that did my pedicure was so rough. She was rough cutting my nails, cuticles, and when it came to brushing my skin with soap afterwards. When she told me to take my feet out of the water, she was pretending to cut excess skin, but put oil on it afterwards to hide whatever was left. Her massage was not one foot after another. Instead, she would do one for five seconds and move to the other, and repeated that step for maybe five minutes at the most? (And that's me being nice; I doubt it was even 2 minutes, to be honest) The whole time that I've been here, she's been speaking to the other nail tech in Vietnamese. I'm sorry, but that's just rude! Not only that, but my whole pedicure service was less than 30 minutes. She spent more time polishing my toes than the whole pedicure process itself. Ugh! I just saw the lady next to me use the brush to clean the tub. It was the same kind of brush my lady used on me to clean my feet! I'm not happy with this place and I will not be coming back. Been here twice, not impressed. I got the dip mani both times; the first time it lasted just under 2 weeks which was ok I guess but I thought they were supposed to last longer than that. So I went back for another and after about 4 days 2 nails came off and others were starting to peel off. So I went to try to get them redone and they told me I would have to pay full price. I get that it's a business and they need to make money but obviously the manicure wasn't done right and that's not my fault. Disappointing. I'm not coming back. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I would not recommend going to this place, ever. Atmosphere is nice and clean, however, there is only one lady who knows what she is doing, Lilly, who I believe is the owner. Every time I have asked for something other than just a solid color, I have left disappointed. I stopped going a while back and decided to go with a family member, to give it one more shot. This visit, I asked for a fading sparkle color nail polish over the top of the nude color I got (not complicated, and have gotten it done many times at other nail shops). I even pulled up three different pictures to show to my nail tech. I told her if she didn't think she could do it, that was fine and I would just stick with the solid nude color. She painted my nails, removed the polish, and re-did my nails three times. Even after me telling her to stop and just leave the solid color, she insisted she could do it. The service was terrible. I came for a mani-pedi with my mother for a girls treat. They sat us down to start together, but my technician walked out before he even had my toe polish off. By the time someone actually came to remove my old polish and start my pedicure, my mom was done with both of hers then had to sit and wait for them to finish both of mine. Perfect place for fake nails but if you want to get gel polish on your natural nail I don't recommend! I got mine done and within 8 hours they chipped and peeled! I paid $18 for gel polish which is supposed to last a week and it didn't even last 8 hours. So disappointed. read more

Big fan of this place, go with the expectation of a wait its no big deal, check your email or catch up on social media and in no time you will be next, usually no longer than 20 mins. From what I have experienced I say they go above and beyond, most salons will charge to do a nail fix if your pop one but I was very pleased when I went expecting to pay, and was told don't worry its ok. I also have witnessed some customers who speak up right on the spot about a 20 nail flaw and its fixed right then. The techs are extremely fast, and usually Im out of there in 45 mins for a fill and gel. I have had my nails done by 4 people so far and each one does a real nice job. read more

The woman doing my pedicure should have stayed home today. She looked like she hadn't slept in days. Maybe she was having a bad day or not feeling well but none the less I still had to pay for a crappy rush job. The place was dirty, old goopy nail polish which she had to thin out and now I need to re-polish since it bubbled and gooed. Just get new polish. Clean your garbage can lids, cover and clean your utensils so flys aren't crawling on them, get new towels that aren't stained and have holes in them, so when you drape them on peoples legs they don't go into a state of shock. And for the love of God STOP using the electric file on people. The one she tried to use on me (because they are quicker) looked like it had been rolled in old paint and nail shavings. They are not properly sanitized and that's how germs and nail fungus are spread. I'm a hairstylist so I know proper Michigan state board rules and this place broke over a dozen of them just in the time I was there. I should have walked out before she started. read more

The manicure is not that great but the shellac is nice and the only thing I dont like about the pedicure is because they dont have that disposable plastic to cover that thing I put my feet in. Awesome! Walked in to a busy salon this Sunday morning. They had been open maybe 15 minutes and there were already at least 8 women in the salon. I came in for a fill. I had gotten my full set put on at another salon a week ago, and was really unhappy with the way they looked. I didnt have to wait even a minute. I'm not sure who the nail tech was, but she did an amazing job on my nails. I came in with too thick, unnatural looking acrylics, and left with perfectly thin, even, and beautifully shaped nails. The lady doing with nails was extremely rude. I only came in for a manicure for prom and she would not stop asking me if I need my eyebrows done too even though I did not mention anything about my eyebrows and answered no overtime she asked. The manicure itself was done very poorly and it was very painful. She obviously didn't know what she was doing because by the end my nails were bleeding. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I also have a friend that told me she had a similar experience and when she pulled her hand away because it hurt so bad the lady slapped her hand for pulling it away. read more

Ive been to this salon multiple times, and i will not be back even if it is an emergency. The wait is never bad and thats why i rated a 2 star and not 1. Every nail tech I've had has been very rough and rude while doing my nails. Rough as in slapping my hands to "relaxe", while buffing and filing nails they are not gentle at all. Rude as in giving me attitude when i pay in cash and ask for change back because a $10 tip would not be neccasary at this salon. If I could leave a 0 I would. This was the worst experience I have ever encountered in my entire life!!!!! I went here on Thursday 4/7/16 to have Shellac done for my Bridal Shower this past weekend.. It took not even 15 minutes for the entire shellac to be finished. The technician was extremely rude to me the entire time. She did not like that I asked her to paint my ring fingers a sparkly silver color. She grabbed the sample ring from me and almost yelled "which one????" at me. I felt as if I was being a bother to her the entire time I was getting my nails done. Mind you, this was for my bridal shower two days later. The technician put two coats of the sparkle polish on my ring fingers and three coats of pink on the other nails. I asked her to do another coat on the ring fingers as I wasn't happy how you could still see my nail. The technician just said "no, no, you're fine, it looks good". Just because she was okay with it does not mean I was. I paid and left. The next day I was very unhappy with the ring fingers so I went back. The same lady fixed my nails with the same attitude as the day before. She said to me "why did you pick this color if you don't like it". I was stunned at her rudeness. I told her I did like the color but with a color so light it needed more than one or two coats. She finished my two nails and I left. Come Monday, 4/11/16, my nails (all the pink ones) were cracking, pealing and turning color. The pink started to look yellow from the center out. I have never in my life seen shellac do this before. This nail polish must have been very old for it to do so, or a very cheap brand. I am extremely disappointed that my bridal shower nail experience has been so crappy!!!!! I will never go to this salon again and I will always tell people the terrible experience I had and make sure no one I know goes here to have the same experience. read more
