Loved what my nails looked like leaving but they must use cheap nail glue or expired?? Not even 1 week later a set that was 120$ was lifting by day 2-3 and lost one nail. It honestly hurt so bad but what the lady said was "soak off takes too long". So they rather put me in pain and get it done quick rather than do it professionally? I could've ripped them off myself at home but I didn't want to break my natural nail or have it be painful. I wish I never came here to be honest. So today I had an appointment with the nail tech by the name of (MICHEAL). I booked for a pink and white tips set. Prior to booking I asked does he use acrylic for his white tips in the message he states yes, but once he was was done prepping my nails he states that he's going to polish the tips although I was told otherwise. He then proceeded to tell me that he didn't say that method to me until I showed him the messages between him and I via IG and then he rudely offered to send me to someone else after he just inconvenienced me a 40 min drive from downriver at 9:00 am. Upon the process while prepping my nails before he threw that lie at me about how he could do my nails the way I inquired I made a comment about his radio being really small but with great sound for that size he then unprofessionally drifts off into an inappropriate response asking would I date a guy with a small penis?!?!?!?!?. Instantly I felt uncomfortable and violated hence I scheduled a nail appointment not to be verbally sexually assaulted. After that fiasco of him lying about how he could do the design and that uncomfortable awkward comment I instantly was ready to get up and leave. I just got a standard pedicure and the price was the same as other salons. The nail techs didnt chat too much in another language, and my tech did try to converse with me but didnt go overboard. This happened a couple of years ago. My wife had regularly had her nails done her, so they knew her, and she has always tipped well. She was 33 weeks pregnant at the time and on crutches due to a recent car accident. She went in to get a manicure for her baby shower, and halfway through, the power goes out. They were unable to finish as the gel polish she wanted requires UV light to dry. So she said she would just have to go somewhere else. They removed the gel (leaving some in her cuticle), and as she was leaving, they demanded she pay for the manicure. A bit ridiculous considering the job is not done but the power going out is "not their fault" so, ok. Since they could not take credit card payment due to the outage, they demanded my wife leave her drivers license, which she refused to do. For whatever reason, she did let them write down her information. I went in later and paid in cash, but only after explaining that if they did indeed take my money, they would be losing out on any future business. The indignant reply "That's fine". I don't usually write bad reviews but this world needs to know how horrible this place is! The owner/manager Kim is so mean that she won't even answer you when you talk. She just stares at you blankly and won't say anything. They won't let you make appointments and if you score one they don't keep it. They don't honor their sign in book or price-list either, and frequently up-charge for every little thing. It's not even a small up-charge either; I'm talking $5 for each thing. Medium length nails? That's an extra $10 per service, not including any extra anything. They start out acting nice then after about your third time there they treat you like garbage. They're also untimely as ever. You might be in there for three hours although there was only two people there, including you. Overall this place is simply horrid.
