I have been coming here for six years. They are consistent friendly and do a good job. Tina does my nails and they last more than three weeks with no chips no breaks no peeling. She really takes good care of your nails. Lam is the pedicure guru. If he likes you, he'll tell you about his dog. Helen is always so inviting and friendly. read more

The Nail Spa - Ivy did an excellent job! I will definitely come back and book with her again! - Nail Salons Near Me - Simi Valley, California

I did not have a good experience during my first visit, but I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, this visit was even more disappointing than the first. The technician only used one hand to scrub my feet and didn't hold them steady with her other hand. I felt rushed, and she didn't take the time to clean my nails properly. The overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory; I felt I could have done a better job myself, which was unexpected. Maybe they had a busy start to their day, but I arrived around noon this time, midweek. For some reason, all the towels she used were wet. I regret asking for the additional spa treatment because the towels were damp. I felt gross afterwards and felt the need to sanitize. read more

DON'T GO HERE! I walked in for a gel with powder removal and they e filed the whole thing off and into my NATURAL nail. It left my nails dry, matte, AND PAPER THIN. They're lazy and don't want to take time to do things right and professionally! Now I'm stuck with thin dry nails until they grow back in 2 months. read more

Horrible experience. I went to this nail salon because they are open late. I went to get acrylic nails, since I was going to wedding next day. I asked the front desk lady, if I need appointment, she informed me walk ins are welcome. No problem, I took a sit and waited for my turn. Lady who did my nails did not tell me her name so not sure who she was. She did not cut my nails or file them. She started to taping the nails on my fingers. I told you're going to cut and file them, her answer was no need. No problem, if you say so. Then she did a sloppy job on my nails. One of her usual customers walked in and she left me sitting there and came back told me you're done. I was in shock, but I didn't want to make a scene. I just paid and left. Please save time and don't even bother with this salon. This place is ridiculous no customer service whatsoever. Not going back at all. read more

Had no choice its Sunday my regular nail salon is closed so had to go back to this place since its open. What a horrible job for $45+ tip. I could have done a better job doing it myself w nail powder DIY fr Ebay. This was the job of that same owner who does really bad job. She did this for half an hour. I have to go to my regular salon tomorrow to have it redone and pay another $55. What a waste of time and energy!! NEVER GO TO THIS SALON IF TAMMY IS THE ONE WHOS GONNA DO YOUR NAILS!!!! There are other good places here in Simi. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Its funny my nails has just been done but it looks like it 4 wks old read more

The nail quality is poor (the acrylics themselves) they'll break Easily, and then nail polish chips right away more than I'd care to mention. They aren't sanitary and they use dirty equipment on your nails, such as cuticle cutters or their Dremel sanders. There was one woman who works there, who seemed nice at first. She was pretty much 'my' nail tech. Then one day she was cold and surly for reasons unknown, as I'm always very nice to her and she had treated me well before. In that same visit, a client whom she apparently liked, walked in while my nails were halfway done. She said hi to this person, gingerly, then began to rush through finishing my nails. They looked terrible. She definitely didn't use the same care (middle of the road) as she had done before. I would post a picture here and show the terrible job, yet that wouldn't be anonymous for her. I was very disappointed, and I always tip 50%! (The reason for this is that if somebody spends an hour doing you a service, $20 is basically minimum wage, so I felt they deserved that, or more, for their time in general. Another truly annoying thing was that they all refuse to use a color you bring in yourself, claiming "it's not really gel" even when it says gel on the bottle and when you can clearly see that it is. They still insist on using their own cheap, and of poor quality nail polish, that is not the color of style you wanted. I asked for stiletto and they gave me almond three times. Even if you show them a picture, it's like they do whatever they feel is good, instead of what you specifically asked for. I give this place a D- collectively. Everything is so wrong for how a nail shop should be. Management should have their employees step it up a lot. Well, any nail tech will probably speak poorly about you in another language but that's just how it goes. They seemed to do this minimally, but they still got their jabs in. I DO NOT recommend spending your time or money at The Nails Spa in Simi Valley, when there are many other 4-5 star salons. This salon has a 3.9 somehow on Google and I see a 2.9 here on Yelp. I hope this helps people understand what this establishment is like, and then they will be informed upon using this business's services. read more

Great! Nice quality work! I've been there for pedicures and for waxings. I love it. I highly recommend this place.

The Nail Spa on Tapo St. is the WORST!! They are rude, unfriendly, don't speak English and don't understand it!! It is a dirty place and they use dirty instruments! They cut my toe nails so short, made them bleed and I got a bad infection from it! They don't even deserve one star!! Read the reviews, there are a lot of bad ones! Do not go there!! read more

Went here because I received a gift certificate. Was excited to try out a new place. Unfortunately person doing my nails was rushed, wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. By the next day paint color was chipping, day 3 most of them look horrible! When she had finished I had nail polish on my skin as well. read more

Horrible pedicure. They do not scrub your feet or clean around the cuticles like they have to - length of toes don't match sole are shorter and some are longer. Gel is always a mess and chipped off in one day. What am i paying for if they can't do the job? Do not recommend. read more

Bait and Switch. My wife decided to give them a try, and we're sorry we stopped in. Their $25 advertised price for a Full-Set of nails ended up costing us $50! Rude! I WILL NEVER GO BACK! There was an elderly gentleman there for a pedicure. The lady working on him came over to the ladies doing my mani/pedi and showed them the gunk she apparently dug out from his toes. They all laughed. It was not only disgusting, I felt it was very embarrassing for that gentleman and extremely rude. And there was a mentally impaired woman waiting for her nails to dry. She saw the dryer they were using on my gel polish and asked what it was. They looked at her, but completely ignored her, so she asked again. They still didn't answer. It was so very rude. I answered her questions because they were so obviously ignoring her. She was very sweet. When you work in the beauty industry, you need to have respect for your clients. I saw zero respect or even common decency here. read more

I went to get my nails done by the guy that works there and he was totally rude I showed him everything that I wanted the length and shape all with gel. I could already tell he wasn't listening to what I wanted so I just waited and watched, then he brought the nail polish to paint my nails but I wanted them to be long nails with gel. He said we don't do that only acrylic and I said ok I don't want acrylic you don't have anything else and he said no turned off the light and left. That guy was horrible, he had the worse attitude and was super rude. Tina though is great and will always be. 2/10 would not recommend. read more

Worst experience I had here... my nails were messed up and crooked I asked her to fix it and she gave me attitude and didn't clean up the nail polish tht she left on my hands.... my services felt so rushed and To top it if you are paying with card they usually will add the tip after u sign the paper but instead you have to verbally tell them how much.. I know I will never return here again.... read more

I have been going to The Nail Spa for over four years now and am very happy with the outcome. The salon is always clean and comfortable. I usually get a spa manicure with Kelly and she is the best! Sitting in the massage chair is a plus. I always stay a bit to let the nail polish dry and enjoy an extra run of the massage chair. I highly recommend The Nail Spa. Their pedicure is $20 which I think is a great price! read more

This is the absolute worst manicure I have ever had. My sisters poor toe nails pretty much we're chopped completely off. Check out these pics! Can you even believe they charged me for this? No thanks! Went into this place after looking for a good nail salon and nope, this is not my place. They are quick alright, get you in and out in about 20 minutes. I don't think they cared a bit and the lady who sits at the desk in front (with her feet up reading magazines) could care even less. Her tone of voice alone was rude. My polish started chipping within 2 days and they have a bad selection of no-name brand polishes. Not OPI or Essie. Not returning. Universal nails across the street I found to be much, much better, but they don't do eyebrows. read more

I hate this place so much the people are mean and don't listen. The lady who was doing my nails where cutting then so short I started to bleed and when I would tell her it hurt she would do nothing and get more cranky with me. Phong did my nails today and I decided to write a review on this shop because more people need to know about the wonderful talent going on there. I had previously gotten my nails done at TK nails three Saturday's ago.. I was so upset with the quality the staff put out, and I even had my nails done by the manager. Nails were separating and getting caught on my hair the very next day. And mind you I am posting this review 4 hours after getting mine done at the nail spa so if they do the same thing I will post another review. Basically if you want a boss white and pink set of nails, go here. Phong listened to me and did exactly what I asked for. I'm obsessed with the timeless look of W&P nails. read more
