Linh and her husband are amazing--so kind, friendly, and welcoming every time I come in. They're also incredibly accommodating when I need to bring my laptop and work while I'm there. I've never had an issue with any of my pedicures, and I recently started getting my nails done too. It's been so fun having cute nails again! Small, quaint shop in a nice shopping center with lots of parking. No. One was there when I did a walk in mani pedi. There were no menus, just one on the wall for pedicures, no one asked what I wanted just got right to it! Great pedi and mani. Pedi was one of the first I've had. Got a great massage, a lot of attention to detail! I messed up my toe and she fixed it for me. Messed it up on my way out again, but didn't have the heart to go back. Everything was great, very sweet. My downfalls leading to 4 stars were just little things like not a ton of opi or any regular polish. I hate when there is only the matching dnd sets. Towels they used were pretty beat up and stained. Smelled like musty towels. Just cleanliness was not great for me. Other than that the actual service was wonderful! read more

I asked for this look and got this? $70 for this?!? I even said I wanted red nails and if the hearts were too much, just maybe one and the rest could be red cat eye. This was for Valentine's Day and they are all black. The lady could tell I was not happy with them but still charged me full price. We just moved unfortunately from the area and I wish I would have been able to go to them more often but every time I went there it was a great experience, friendly and hilarious staff, quick service but great massages (a few other places i've been in the area really skimp on massages and that's my favorite part). Not to mention quality manis and pedis. The owners are great and always on time, i've never had an issue with them running behind or late even when I called last minute for an appointment. i've been coming here for a while and i had liked the pedicure service. they're clean and i never had to wait. the only employees are the business owner and her husband. however, i recommended this place to my mom, on me, as a mother's day gift. she said the business owner made very rude comments about her fanny pack and how it was out of style and emphasized her stomach. the business owner also pointed out how veiny my moms hands are, along with other comments about her appearance. please don't support a business where they are mean and rude to their customers. i'm especially disappointed because I had originally recommended this place to my mom hoping she was going to have a great experience. I will also point out that my mom is mexican and after reading other 1 star comments, it seems like they prefer their american clientele. read more

This is NOT that!!! They are an adorable couple that own the place and give you their total attention the entire time. I was the last client of the day and they spent extra time after hours just sitting and talking w me and my husband. They are so great. And they did an excellent job on my nails. I came across this place by chance and I'm so glad I did! I went in without an appointment as a walk-in. I did wait a while but I was okay with it because I know most nail places work with appointments. Anyway, the owner Linh is great and so is her husband. They're a great team, welcoming, and respectful! She even did a free design (the cutest tiny hearts and glitter) because I waited. Again, she didn't have to but she did. I moved to Simi Valley in 2017 and have tried a number of nail salons and always found them hard to come by...either having to wait 30 minutes (even with an appointment), or feeling rushed because there were so many walk-ins that there would be 10 people waiting. I discovered QV Nails and Linh in September, and will not go anywhere else. Each time I've arrived for my appointment, I've head little or no waiting and have never felt rushed. Lihn the owner is a great nail tech, however in my 10 years of going to a nail salon I have never in my life been grabbed and sassed. I came a total of two times, both times I had specific artwork I wanted. My first visit was great and my nails turned out perfect, but during the set she kept grabbing my arm, fingers and huffed telling me to move back or hold a certain position when I haven't moved. She isn't even saying words, just grunting and gossiping on the phone about friend drama while slapping my hand around and cutting my skin with her nail drill. A nail tech working on my hand and my arm positioning has never been an issue but she huffs around speaking so loudly on the phone about a friend who made a bad Facebook post - this is NOT what I want to hear when getting my nails done. I do not care. The second visit I came with a design I wanted again, she told me she can do it & had the photo next to her. Halfway through, I noticed she was using 2 colors for French when I wanted 3. No big deal, I asked if she can do 3 like we discussed and she said "no too late, I don't have that color". Why would you tell me you can do it when you couldn't? Then I asked if she could make a line a bit straighter then she huffs, "LIKE THIS??" but didn't make any changes.. man if you wanna go home and be on the phone you can. No offense Lihn but I texted you to let you know you were being very rude, you didn't even have decency to reply. I left with a wonky design, cuts on my skin and upset. Never coming back again. Two stars because she's good at nail art but that's it. Disrespectful, rude and just unprofessional. Like why are you grabbing my hands and slapping my arm to "hold straight", no one EVER does that! read more

I made a last minute appointment in which they accommodated for me. I had gone too long for my bio gel and pedicure. I had broken nails far down and a few chipped toenails. Linh was so gentle and focused on making sure not to hurt me. I am very surprised at the negative reviews. I find the complete opposite. My last set/current set rn was for my birthday/coachella so I really wanted them to look nice.
