I have been up & down Simi valley to find the best nail salon. This place exceeds expectations. Clean and modern as well! Not only are they reliable, but fast. Nikki is a great manicurist with gentle hands. She does exactly what I would like for my nails (designs as well) with no hesitation. They always send a text the day before your appt to remind you. I had a GREAT pedicure here with Peter, but unfortunately my gel manicure was a huge disappointment. It was the nail tech's first time doing chrome nails, and many spots were missed even after I pointed them out. She then reapplied the chrome after already oiling my nails, which left them dull instead of shiny. On top of that, my cuticles were overworked and left looking messy and bloody. Overall, the manicure was not worth the $48 + tip that I paid. Im in a rush to leave out of town and I don't have time to get them fixed somewhere else as I'm sure these will be falling apart within 24 hours. read more

Such a cute place! I tried this out for the first time and I was shocked by the selection of polish and the talent of the artists. Maybe I've just been trained by nail artists in the past to be very flexible when I request anything as far as nail design but the second I showed my inspo and they were like, "sure, easy" I was in love. So I'm not gonna lie I have been a nail shop junky because I wanted to find a good one. It's just like dating it seems like smh, but passion nails I'm feeling y'all. I love the prices, designs, and location. I love getting my nails done with talented nail technicians. They have many technicians which is a plus for me who knows how to do acrylics or gel x sets. That is very uncommon at some nail salons. They have good designs that I've never seen before, and let me tell you I have been to MANY salons in LA County that are pretty innovative. The booking is easy, the owner is usually the one who answers to book and he will let you know what's available and prices. Jason is his name he's really nice and caring. He knows how to do nails as well, which he did my ombré desithis time. Overall, I will be back! I already made my appointment and ready to try out a new design. Called them around 10am this morning (Saturday) for same day appointment. At the time they only had availability for 6pm so I took it and a few hours later they called asking if I would be interested in moving my appt to 5pm which I was. I got there 10 mins before 5pm and they took me in almost immediately. My pedicure was done by Patrick and he did a fabulous job. A couple minutes after Patrick started with my pedicure, Nikki came over to do my gel manicure. She also did an amazing job. The spa is beautiful and extremely clean. Wonderful experience at Passion Nails! This was my first time coming here. They were ready at my appointment time for me. I got dip color. They do seem to specialize in gel and they have lots of color options for gel compared to dip powder. But wasn't an issue for me at all. The activator wasn't working at first so had to grab another bottle which added time to the appointment. I'll probably get gel next time I come. Passion Nails is the cleanest nail salon I have ever seen. The manicurists do amazing artistic designs on long nails. However I simply require a clean short nail manicure and pedicure in a relaxing setting. Since my former salon burned down in the Palisades fire, I am extremely grateful to have found a local salon which serves my needs. read more

I have had a lot of really good experiences with Passion nails, but unfortunately my last one was not good at all. Service was amazing, and my nails (natural - with biogel) turned out fantastic - but within a few days of being done one of my nails cracked. I messaged them, and I was able to be seen shortly thereafter. Another tech fixed my nail, and I thought all was well - until literally the same day a nail on my opposite hand was cracked. Within a few more days another nail developed cracks on both sides and the end result was my beautiful long nails cracking all the way down. In the end I had to go to another salon and I just decided to cut them all off and start over - months of growing my nails out, ended. I did literally nothing different than what I had been doing. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend them. read more

Treated my girls and I so well and I love that they don't cut the children's pedicures short. I requested that we pay adult pricing for both of my kids even though one of them I think is child's pricing so that way they would get full pedicures and they finished the same time as me. I recently got a fill w/ a design that my sister had gotten done here about a month ago. The prices vary so much I guess depending on who you are. I was charged $67, and she was charged $55? I don't understand how the man at the register comes up with prices because he wrote down $65 on his piece of paper and charged me $67? I'm not one to argue, but he always does this to me and I just pay. And it's only been 5 days and my nails have already started peeling which has never happened to me before here. read more

I had an appointment and they were fast to get me started. Personally, this isn't what I asked for And showed the picture a few times. The color is absolutely gorgeous tho. There are many flaws as seen in the video and I had to cleanup the nails afterwards so the pics I took didn't show these flaws. From a distance they look great and I only wanted them done for a special occasion anyways. The price wasn't bad tho ($70). read more

Love this nail salon!! Best one in Simi for sure. I didn't grab my nail techs name, but she was so efficient and obviously a pro! I showed her a reference pic and she did it nearly exactly like the pic!! She was quick, attentive to detail, and so sweet! My gel x man I came out to $64 with this design. My sister got a gel mani + regular pedi and only paid $55 in total! read more

I had a dip gel mani and basic pedi with callus removal. The salon is sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and very professionally presented with soft techno jazz music and uniformed staff. Nikki did my pedi; polish looks great! She evened out my split big toenail and she has a very gentle touch. Jenny did my mani and I've never had a better one! I came here because of the Yelp reviews, and got a good experience. Me and my mom just got gel manicures I had set up an appointment for 2 at the same time but one of us did have to wait a little bit and my mom was finished 1st however, I understand that sometimes things happen or take longer than they expect. Both of our technicians did a really good job, I had a cut on my finger and she was very careful to not irritated more. Sometimes the cuticle cutting can be uncomfortable, but she did a gentle job. read more

I had my nails done there every two weeks for four months one time I left not being completely satisfied (which is on me i should have spoken up) the next day I called reluctantly, as I just could not stand the look of my nails (gel-x new set) the receptionist is always kind and warm every time I call... And this time was no different. she said it would be no problem. If the same gal redid them for me it would be no charge. If someone else redid them, they would have to charge me (the money was not an issue for me i just wanted them fixed) I kept the same gal as I wanted to continue our relationship and have her understand what I like and what I don't like so she can continue to learn for the future. I went in and got a new set. They were great i was very happy. I did gave her a generous tip as she was not recharging me for the full set. Upon leaving, there was some discussion that I could not hear but realize there was a problem. I insisted on paying they insisted on not accepting payment. I booked my next appointment and went about my day. Two days before my next appointment the receptionist called again I am sure feeling awful that she had to relay the news that this girl did not feel comfortable doing my nails that she was not confident she could satisfy me & that the owner would do them. (even tho i've been happy every other time) Just be careful about complaining ‍ Seemed to me there was a language barrier with this particular nail tech) needless to say, I'm going somewhere else and it worked out for the best I found a private nail professional, who is amazing! everything works out in the end read more

These people don't understand that tips are earned with kindness and good service not by demanding, and I really didn't have cash so couldn't pay but promised her to come back again, but she was super mean, think before you go to this disgusting place! Might happen with you too! These people are psychos!! No humanity! Little bit about their salon! The salon appeared very unclean. Hair was left all over the floor, and the overall space did not feel maintained. I did not see tools like combs or scissors being cleaned between clients. At one point, the same scissors appeared to be used after a customer had a cut, without being sanitized. Staff did not appear to wash their hands between clients. The broom used for cleaning looked very dirty. The restroom did not have soap available and did not appear hygienic. The salon also had an unpleasant smell. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor hygiene practices, and the way I was treated make this a place I would not recommend.
