I came here for a relaxing "Me" day at ME SPA. I booked back-to-back services - a 50 min Signature Swedish Massage with May and a 50 min Signature Custom Facial with Mia. Arrive 20 min early, and you are treated to a complimentary warm foot soak in the relaxation room. I changed into my robe and waited in the relaxation room before my first service. The massage with May was fantastic. Most Swedish massages are too hard for me, but she has a soft, relaxing technique. I almost fell asleep on the chair, which is the biggest compliment I can give! Highly recommend May. Shortly after my massage, I waited in the relaxation room again for my facial with Mia. Mia also did a great job. My skin was glowing after, and I even purchased her recommended facial oil after. ME Spa is now my go-to place for relaxing in the Simi Valley area. read more

I really wanted to love this spa given all the glowing reviews, but my experience was honestly underwhelming and disappointing -- especially for the price. I purchased a package back in July for my birthday for $199 (a $250 value) and used part of it for an 80-minute massage that cost $199 (pretty high if you ask me considering there aren't really any amenities at the spa) The description said it included a scalp massage, but that never really happened. Either the therapist forgot or it's not a true description of the services because the therapist spent maybe a minute lightly stroking my hair at the very end -- it wasn't an actual scalp massage, just awkward. To start, they do offer a nice foot soak with butterfly tea, which was relaxing. But the overall atmosphere didn't match the premium pricing. One of the doors had tape holding the lock area together, one of the showers was out of service, and the massage bed creaked every time I moved and I could hear therapists talking outside the room, which made it hard to relax. I'd rate the overall massage experience a 6 out of 10 at best. I still had $51 left on my gift card, so I came back for a 30-minute reflexology session. Unfortunately, it was the most expensive foot rub I've ever had -- and not true reflexology. I have been doing extensive research a lot on what reflexology entails and this just did not match what I have been researching. There was some cupping involved, but overall, it didn't match the description. I should've just used it on the pedicure. I would've paid 9 extra dollars instead of the $54 extra dollars that I paid for a foot rub. Yes, a 30 minute reflexology session is $105 at the spa. Expensive! Also, this time, both showers were out of service, the same tape was still on the door, the bed still creaked, the music also had static -- something was definitely off with the sound system -- and again I could hear noise from outside. For a place that charges high prices for services, the spa really needs to address maintenance issues, the sound system, soundproofing or at least informing their therapist stopped talking out outside these rooms. Unfortunately, it's just not a place I would go back to. To each their own and I'm sure they have a really nice clientele that loves to come back. I saw that their membership was actually reasonable and at first I did consider it but I decided against it after my experiences. My search for a spa continues as well as a true reflexology session! read more

It was a wonderful facial. Then I had 30 minutes in the relaxation room before my massage with Palita. Palita is great, it's my second massage with her. I highly recommend both ladies and MeSpa. Really was overpriced for what is was. Massage was nothing special and the therapist had a very fast technique that almost didn't allow me to fully relax. I felt shortened by my experience too because the showers were out of order, which in my opinion, truly adds to the experience. I wouldn't come back here. read more

This morning I had a delightful experience at Me Spa, beginning with a relaxing foot soak, followed by a 30 minute massage and then a 30 minute facial. It was a Valentine's gift from my wonderful husband. Shelby welcomed me in and provided me with a robe and sandals, then set up my foot soak in the relaxation room. After 10 minutes Mae came to escort me to the massage room. She was very considerate and asked what areas I wanted her to focus on. Her hands worked my body as I requested and I felt like a new woman when she was finished. Then I relaxed with a cup of tea while I awaited my next session. Sierra performed my facial which was superb! Not only did she massage and apply several products to my face, but also gave my shoulders and neck a good massage. I really wanted to love this place. Patty was amazing, gave me the most relaxing 50 minute face massage not facial. The reason why I say not facial is because my facial included extractions, it didn't really feel like I got that. My facial was basically just an expensive face massage; which I don't recommend. You can go and get a real facial else where for less money. Another issue I've been dealing with since my facial, face rash. After my "facial" my face felt a little tingly, it was red and glowy. It all felt normal until I got home and noticed texture. Later that day it felt really itchy. I did do my best not to mess with it (extremely itchy) but now it has been a little over 2 weeks and my skin still has some textured and is now peeling. Horrible! This is my first time experiencing bad texture on my skin. Sucks! I don't recommend MESPA for facials. read more

All I can say is WOW! This place is truly amazing! I had a major facial issue on a Saturday morning and needed to see someone for a facial STAT. I called ME Spa out of the blue and spoke to Shelby and she was fantastic! Not only was she extremely kind and understanding but she got me into an esthetician that very same day. My esthetician was Kelly and I can honestly say she is the best that I have ever seen and I've seen hundreds of estheticians over the years. She is truly a miracle worker.
