My friend gave me a gift certificate that she won for this place and they refused to honor it.

Worst massage ever. I cant believe i paid $150 for an hour and a half for that "muscle melt" massage. Left in more pain than when i walked in. She didn't seem to know anything about muscles or pressure points. I asked her if I could do one hour instead of an hour and a half because I didn't like her style and she said it'll still cost the same as an hour and a half but she's lucky I didn't walk out and pay nothing. read more

Had an amazing 90 minute massage with Angelica yesterday! It can be uncomfortable going for a massage with a new person when you have to remove most clothing, but Angelica made me feel very comfortable. I had several issues when I went to her, in my opinion my body was "messed up" to say the least. I workout a lot and experience tension from sitting at a desk all day. She took the time to understand what issues I was having and explained how she could best treat them. She gave me options and made a great recommendation. She addressed all my issues and I walked out better than I walked in. I could not believe the rapid relief I had from pain in my feet and muscles! Her office/massage room is wonderfully clean and the aromatherapy smells wonderful!!! Overall I have to say that you have to get a massage from Angelica. You will feel amazing after and your overall health will improve! read more

She is the best massage therapist I ever had. I got a living social voucher for three massages and since I was pregnant and she offers prenatal, I was very excited. She exceeded my expectations every trimester :) The environment, lighting, and atmosphere are all very relaxing and she's such a sweetheart. She knows the right amount of pressure and works out any tough knots with exquisite strokes and kneading while relaxing everywhere else. Being pregnant makes you really moody and her massages literally worked out all the negativity brewing in me, it was magnificent, almost spiritual! I highly, HIGHLY recommend her. read more

Angelica is a total dynamo! Great things come in small packages. Both my wife and mother-in-law have had her work on them and they always come back feeling rejuvenated. Super easy booking appointments on line make it quick to set up. I would recommend to friends and obviously family too! read more

I loved the care I received from Angelica Escobedo; her expertise was incredible. She has the right touch: not too hard, yet firm, yet smooth: by using her forearm at times instead of the hands all the time. The peppermint oil was invigorating or a "peppy" feeling, lol. The warm moist washcloth on my feet after the foot rub was a big score. For anyone suffering untold pain after an auto accident: go for this healing massage! read more

Just waited a couple of hours after an incredible massage at Massage as Art to post this... in all honesty, I was too relaxed after the massage and selfishly wanted to enjoy that feeling for a while. It was great! Any time you can leave your stress and pain on the table is time well spent! Can't recommend Angelica highly enough! read more

I HIGHLY recommend Angelica! I am 20 weeks pregnant and she had a wonderfully relaxing and calming set-up geared especially for prenatal massage. She was incredibly attentive, yet after she heard what she needed, she went to work without being overly chatty- permitting me to relax completely. The studio was clean, tranquil and nice and central. I am looking forward to my next appointment! read more

I had my first ever cupping massage here last month and LOVED it. I could not believe how loose my shoulders felt the week after my appointment. I wished I lived in Simi so I could go regularly. Still looking for someone as good in my city. read more

She is more than art. She is magic. She truly relaxes me like no other masseuse. I typically enjoy super painful massages and don't feel I get my due if I am not wincing. But she has such a sense for pain and release that it seldom is wince worthy and yet I leave with more flexibility and lack of pain than any other massage I have received. She is worth every penny. Book now!!! She won't disappoint. read more

My dad bought me a gift certificate as my high school graduation present, and I am so happy he did! I am a very tense person, especially in my upper back, and I go to the chiropractor semi-regularly with upper back related issues. For the first time in a long time, I feel completely relaxed in my upper back! I was so happy with the massage as well as the ambiance. Highly recommend! read more

The first thing I thought of as I was walking out of Angelica's office after my massage was that it had actually been the best massage I had ever received. I've had high priced spa massages and massages at hotels and gyms, and honestly, the whole experience with Angelica was far superior. She was very attentive from the moment I arrived to her office and treated me like I was the most important client. I told her in a vague way the type of pressure I preferred and she totally nailed it. Firm but still gentle. I also liked that she didn't try to make conversation during the massage sensing I just wanted to relax. She rubbed through my knots with no pain and I truly felt she had like 20 fingers with the way she was moving. I also really appreciated the reminder email she sent me. It made me feel like the massage appointment was more then just a time slot for her but a total experience. I will absolutely go back to Angelica for more massages. read more

Angelica is by far the best I have gone to and I've been to many! If you are looking you have got to try her. Thank you Angelica! I feel amazing! :) read more

"It's like all my troubles evaporated while I was in there ." Those were my mom's words after coming out of her 90 minute body relaxation massage with Angelica. I got her the massage for Mother's Day, and she was very very pleased. She said Angelica was well prepared and wasted no time. She was strong, confident, and comfortable to be around. She said the massage room was very relaxingly lit and scented. My mom is picky and senstive, yet Angelica and her space received high marks all around, which is why I give her 5 stars. We hope to be back soon! read more

I started seeing Angelica where she last worked before starting her own business. I've had many professional massages over the years and she is the best I've had, so she gets my highest recommendation. I am really glad to have found her again - she is a great lady - both pleasant and professional. When I saw her recently, I'd not had a massage for a while so I was pretty stiff. I got the "Hurts so Good" massage (60 minutes) which absolutely tore me up, but felt really great a day later. read more

Wow! Angelica continues to amaze me! This is my 3rd time receiving a massage from her, and all have been fantastic. Whether it was deep tissue, pregnancy, or a soothing bamboo technique the experience is always exactly what I need. Highly recommended for any kind of massage she offers, you won't regret it. read more

I had received a 30 minute massage gift card and was quite looking forward to it as school had been giving me lots of stress. I was given the option of clothes and I decided to just ignore my anxieties and strip down to my underwear. The whole atmosphere was extremely relaxing and the massage was one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. Miss Angelica is clearly and expert on this and really knows how to make the body relax. She is extremely generous and I recommend her for any massage, physical therapy or spa day you may be planning. read more

Without a doubt, she's the best therapist for my neck and back I've ever had. Very professional and definitely worth the money.

Angelica has really helped my neck and back pain. I am on my feet all day and my doctor says that the cause of my back pain is tension. I have tried other massage therapists, but after Angelica, I'm sticking with her! She can really read the body and knows how to get to the root of my pain. Thank you Angelica! I just sent my nephew last week and he says he feels much looser now and lighter. She is our family's massage therapist now. read more

My experience here was terrific. So easy to make an online appointment. I received email / text reminders which I appreciated. Therapist is knowledgeable and very experienced. I get massages for relaxation and pain management and this one did not disappoint. I have been seeing Angelica for over a year to help relieve stress for peace of mind. Angelica has truly mastered the art of being a first rate masseuse. I have been to many five star spas and too often found them to be heavy on atmosphere and light on technique. Angelica's technique is fine tuned to address your needs and leave you feeling completely relaxed. I highly recommend her services. read more

I've been going to see Angelica whenever I'm sore and in pain. She always makes me feel better. I usually go for the "Hurts So Good" massage. The cupping with the massage is great and you don't get the red marks (for those of you that might be concerned with it). She uses suction cups that she squeezes with her hand instead of glass cups requiring a flame used by acupuncturists. The cupping complements the massage in helping me relax and feel better. I like a good deep tissue massage and Angelica knows the right pressure and how to massage the pain away. If you are sore and in pain go see Angelica! read more

I've been here a couple of times since I've been pregnant and received the Glowing Goddess massages. They are the best! Angelica is wonderful. She makes sure you are comfortable and like the pressure she works on you at. She also explains at the end of your massage where your 'trouble areas' are and how she fixed them. I've had a lot of aches and pains during this pregnancy and she makes them all go away and I feel so much better and get so much relief. She has pregnancy props/pillow/molds to use which is very very nice and you can lay there in extreme comfort. I will be coming back to her regularly, even after the baby is born. Her massages help my stay active during the day with no aches or discomfort and helps me sleep better through he night. It's definitely worth going to her. She is definitely an expert and has a passion for what she does. The room is always clean and smells really nice. read more
