One of the easier 5-star ratings to write. Typically, I will ponder and teeter between should it be 3 stars or 4, etc. but this massage experience is delightful on multiple levels and is a no brainer 5-star rating. First, while unusual, it is out of a private home. I wasn't worried but this was a new experience. It was thoroughly enjoyable. Christina as a dedicated room with pleasant music and was clean and quiet. For me a genuine pleasure are the dogs which are very friendly and fun to pet before and after the massage (Bubba has a great haircut and Maggie is just so gracious of a dog). Christina is a consummate progression with a great sense of humor and creates a very comfortable and relaxed environment. I prefer a deep tissue massage due to the overall health of my aging body which has been pounded from long runs and being thrown from horses way too often. These massages are both enjoyable and therapeutic. Parking is easy. While the street has lengths of no parking it opens up for parking right in front of the house. I have parked there 3 times without issue. Cochrane is a fast street so be careful getting out of your car but as long as you looking you are perfectly safe. Life saver......... Saturday last minute I was urgently looking for MT to treat my stiff neck. I ran upon Christina's yelp page and decided to call her. Within 20 minutes she did respond with a text message stating that she was busy till 4:30 PM and she would contact me at that time. Around 4:35 PM she did call me and I explained to her what had happened and that I needed treatment as soon as possible. I just had the best therapeutic massage on both my legs. I fractured my ankle and had surgery and I was immobile for two months. This caused my foot and leg muscles to atrophy. I am going through physical therapy and my muscles are sore and ankle gets pretty swollen after being on my feet for a while. I waited to write my review of Christina because, even though I knew right off that the woman gave a relaxing massage, I had come to her in the hopes of doing some deep therapeutic work. Well, I've been seeing her weekly for two months now (she offers a discount if you book a block in advance) and the work she's done on my hip has been a total game changer. I fell about 5 years ago and jacked up my hip and it was just getting worse and worse. I reached a point where I either had to quit running or get serious about unwinding the giant knot that had formed in my hip. Christina has helped me do that and kept me active. I am so grateful.
