The massage therapists are great, but had a really bad experience with customer service today. I've been on the waitlist. This place gets busy so it's hard to get a reservation on the days I want. Anyway, I received a text message yesterday saying that they had two openings and asked if I wanted to reserve those times for today. I said yes, to reserve both times (for me and my husband). So today, I went there and felt so stupid because the receptionist told me that I didn't have a reservation. I told her I confirmed the 3:00 PM and 4:45 PM reservations. She checked and said none of them was reserved, but she did see the messages in their system. I was soooo upset! You have no idea how badly I wanted to get a massage today and they had my hopes up, I've been waiting to get an appointment. I was so embarrassed and upset, but didn't show it to the receptionist because it was pointless to get mad when they couldn't even fix their mistake! I had an option of receiving the facial in quite, but I chose for her to tell me what's being applied to my face, which made us build rapport and helped me dive deeper into relaxation mode. Jessiey made me feel calm and relaxed, as she was applying different creams, lotions and exfoliants to my face, massaging face gently while I was experiencing different facial sensations, just like she was describing it. It felt like she is literally massaging off 10 years from my face. In addition, the facial included a gentle massage of shoulders and hands, which is just what I needed. After this awesome procedure, Jessiey advised on what would be best for my skin and recommended a Sanitas product line, which I believe was used in my treatment and made me feel so good and fresh. Been a member for about 1.5yrs now. Seen a few therapist (all great) but have stuck with Kiarra for about a year now! When friends ask who I see, best believe I will tell them about Kiarra (a few of them also now see her) As a long distance runner I have dealt with many injuries, tightness, soreness you name it I've probably have experienced it. Kiarra has helped me prep my body for multiple races and most recently helped me feel better about running my Marathon this coming up weekend! I truly believe that many of the PRs I have broken over the last year is because of how well my body feels thanks to her! Actually, my experience with Elements has been great for several membership years, but I was recently sent a medical form to fill out for their own records. Needless to say, like so many other small outfits, the form requested too much medical info. Even a list of my meds were required. I spoke with the owner and she refused to continue to provide me with service (after 3 years of membership). I told her it was illegal to ask for medical records, even though she required a letter from my doctor which would have cost me $60. I asked her if an account that pays Elements $1500.00 per year was worth losing over her illegal request. She replied, "We have to be fair to everyone." That is no response. I had them refund my paid in advance massages. These records were only because i ordered a simple facial. Who the hell needs my medical records for a facial? I briefly did intake info, just to make sure they have any medical issues on file. I listed my health issues, allergies, car accident etc. My massage therapist Juliette was tiny, but strong! She lead me to my room. I was in room 3, & it's funny because that has been a lucky number for my hubby & I. She briefly asked what I needed work on. I told her my back & neck is where she should focus. Then I quickly undressed & laid face down. She came in & got to work, talking & guiding me with what she was preparing to do. The massage bed was heated & at first it was too warm for me, but once she started, my heart that was racing from the warmth started to slow down & I started to relax & take deep breaths. I focused on my breathing & she began with deeper pressure, which I asked for. She was able to work out knots & kinks without much discomfort. Juliette was amazing. The massage was exactly what I need, both relaxing & providing my body with the healing I needed. I came here for a prenatal massage thinking it would help my sciatica pain. I booked online with a massage therapist that can offer a deep and hard pressure for me. At my appt, it turns out that I can't exactly have a super intense massage due to my condition and my massage was more of a relaxing experience. I was provided a pregnancy pillow during the massage, which did make it more comfortable. I was so relaxed and comfy that I fell asleep lol. After my massage, I was given a recommendation to see different massage therapists who specializes in a more softer touch. That's all good but I guess it didn't really resolve my sciatica pain but I did enjoy the massage overall. read more

I paid $89 for my massage as a first timer. I enjoyed the easiness of booking an appointment online and the variety of masseuses and their experiences that were available to me. I went with Sarah as she had about 2 decades worth of experience and has done work with trigger points before. I needed some work on my lower sciatic nerve. She treated me so well and asked what I was comfortable with. I especially loved that she offered some work-friendly stretches to help with the pain. I joined their membership program which offers 1 massage per month at the rate of $79. I loved that it I didn't use my monthly massage, it would roll over and I could use it for a friend if I liked! Wow, just left and one of the most rudest managers I have ever dealt with. To start, I was here two weeks ago and saw Bernice (who was a great massage therapist) and then came in today and they tell me my appointment is tomorrow and not today. The irony is that the person who booked it said it was Thursday and not Friday (tomorrow as they claim). They said I got a notification which stated Friday so ok, my fault, but instead of being nice about it the manager said it was MY FAULT and was completely rude and insulting about it. I demanded they cancel my membership and I will never come back here unless they get a decent and better manager to run this office. PS - To the rude manager, try to deal better with customers. I've been here once in the past after Covid and my massage therapist was so amazing. Recently my bf got me a gift card and I scheduled a regular therapist with medium pressure, not an elite therapist. Let me tell you, I was disappointed in my massage. I could tell the therapist was probably new to the industry. The massage was all over the place. For example: she would massage my left arm, but not my right arm. The lobby offers free refreshments while you wait with relaxing music playing. The couples room was very spacious with candles and music. My massage with Ruby was very relaxing. First, I wanted to say that Gina was a very good masseuse. The one star is for the business itself and how it handles its customers. My sister had a scheduled appointment to use her gift card and unfortunately she had gotten into a bad car accident that evening which prevented her from going. She was in tears when she saw that she got a call from Elements asking if she was coming. I was with my sister when she took the call (I also was the one who recommended her to the place). She tearfully let the front desk girl know about her accident (I wish she would have remembered her name) and front-desk girl was so cold. She brushed off the accident and said that it would be considered a no-show and the appointment still charged. My sister hung up, and I called back to give a piece of my mind. Now, don't get me wrong. If the appointment still had to be charged, I understand. It's a business. However, the COLDNESS was what turned me off. I told my sister that I would go in her place. My wife who is currently a member here (won't be for much longer) made us a COUPLE's massage appointment (read: ONE -- single -- appointment) and when something came up that prevented us from making the appointment, she cancelled it (well before the appointment). We thought that was that, but it turns out when you make a couple's appointment, it is really TWO separate appointments. Perhaps that is obvious to some people, but it was not obvious to us. Come the day of the appointment, we received notice that they deducted one of my wife's sessions because I did not appear for MY couple's massage. We tried to explain to the person on the phone and she said the manager would get in touch but she was going to deduct the session in the mean time. Finally, the manager got in touch and for a SECOND time I tried to explain how this was a mistake that is very easy to make. She argued it **is** intuitive, then began listing how the business side of things work to explain why it is so intuitive as if I knew the ins and outs of running this business. Well, she sure showed us. I pointed out that my wife has been a good member for the past 6 months, that this was upsetting enough to potentially lose her as a customer and that this was not a good customer experience. She did not seem to care. Even after pointing out how this seemed shortsighted from a managerial and customer experience, she still did not care. I am a mom of 2 young kids just got to the point I can finally leave the house after almost 4 years and I use to get massages ever week prior to kids (not from elements) and I got a gift card for my birthday in 2021 but got pregnant and wasn't able to use it till recently. And now to when I set my appointment they had a male available the day that I wanted to go but I'm not the biggest fan of having a man so they said there was a lady available but she charges $15 extra because she is well educated and has lots of experience. So I was excited I'll pay the extra money especially since I had a gift card it wasn't an issue . Now the day of the massage I am so ready for this massage it's been so long I tell her I don't care what style you do I just want anything I'm so excited. This lady was touching me as if she was only using 2 fingers . Super super light (they said light to medium pressure) and she did this weird moves on me it seemed like she was having mini seizures or something with her hands where she would just stop and put her hands on my body and kind of move them as if she had super powers this did nothing for me just made me uncomfortable also she would ask me ever 5 minutes if everything was ok ... Usually people get the point after the first question that the person getting a massage obviously doesn't want to talk during this massage. I felt obligated to say things back as she was constantly asking questions during my massage. She wasn't friendly but not rude and the weird super power moves she did were really odd and seemed like she was doing this for a long period of time so she didn't have to actually message me. With all this being said I will absolutely not go back to her ever again. I would like to try them out again but don't want to waste my money with another experience like this. I can't tell you how upset I am because I waited a month or 2 to right this review because I was livid after my appointment. I want people to know it's not worth the extra 15$ at all I do not recommend that lady I will not post her name but she was horrible and not experienced at all. I have had many different massage therapists from all different walks of life I would go back to any massage therapists I ever had but never would I go back to her. I'm sure there's things I'm forgetting to say because I waited to post because I was so upset. She asked if I was ok after ever area of my body and if it was ok for her to move on to the next part ... I found this so annoying and I don't feel like she messaged my whole body. This place is amazing! Just went for the first time as my regular membership place is still closed. Heard good things about Elements from a friend and was in sore need of a massage. Staff was very friendly and the facility very clean. All regulations were followed to the T. I had Miguel and without me saying a word, he diagnosed all my aches and issues! He was able to work all the pressure points and areas of blocked energy. Other places I've gone to were hit or miss when I requested a firm/ deep message. Some places just take that to mean jamming their elbow in more, but Elements does truly offer therapeutic message. Miguel was literally on point. I was a monthly member for quite a long time when COVID hit. Once Elements opened again I attempted to make an appointment, I am a Los Angeles County Hospital ER nurse, it was an extremely stressful time for everyone. I offered to wear a mask, I offered to wear an N-95 mask. I informed them that I had no symptoms and that I was fully protected at work. I was told that I was not welcome at their place. I have since moved on and found someone else who was willing to do my massages and who helped me ensure I was physically able to continue working as much as I was (and am) required to, for the pandemic. The staff is very friendly, this experience was mine and mine alone, however I will never go back because of it. I refuse to lie about my job, I am proud of what I do.
