I thought this was the same franchise as the La Bella Nails in Cedar Hill which I frequent, but the…read morenail technician was telling me that it's not - different company. I came here based off my past experiences in cedar hill since this location (Arlington) is closer to where I live. They are even decorated very similar. When I first arrived, I felt a little rushed by the gentleman directing me to my chair, but maybe they just want to keep things moving. It was a Sunday afternoon and memorial day weekend so I personally wasn't in a rush. No shade but he went groom stooping (& possibly smoking) outside on the sidewalk to opening the front door for me. I was disappointed when I learned I was at a different La Bella because I hoped to use a discount I earned, and also when I was charged for the soak/removal of my previous mani, since I was confused by the salon names. So much for using my punch card. For anyone who is wondering the Arlington place is LaBella Nail Spa and Cedar Hill is La Bella Nail & Spa. See the difference? I'll probably stick with Cedar Hill La Bella Nails when possible, but at least now I know they're not connected. More importantly the nail tech for my mani here was super sweet! Gina is the best! She was extremely kind and accommodating. At one point after I had to change my mind on the type of pedicure I originally chose, (since I couldn't use the coupon for the other la bella) she assured me that they don't pressure their customers to get/do things they don't want. That is big because it's a major turnoff when I have gone to other nail salons, politely declined a service or package twice and the person continues to ask and try to press me. Gina did a great job! Not only was she polite and professional, she went the extra mile in finding a polish for my toes that was the closest match to my mani which was done with dipping powder. She made sure I was pleased with the color and that the nails were shaped to my liking. I appreciate her. A different young lady did my pedi, and they worked simultaneously. The highlight of my experience at La Bella was certainly Gina! I recommend her if you go here. There are 2 names on my receipt - Phoebe & Gina - so hopefully that's her. The salon was family friendly. There were children there and staff seemed to know some patrons by name so that was nice.

Over priced. I've never had my gel peel off from my acrylic. Nails were shaped differently and very…read morethin. I

Been to a lot of nails salons since moving to this area. Have not had a good experience this making…read moreme very scared to try places (not the cheapest luxury) Went to this place a few weeks ago and although the pedicure was okay, didn't enjoy my nails. I decided to give it another shot today and WOW! The two people I got were amazing. I can't say EVERYONE is good in there but the people I got this last time had converted me to a regular. She was so patient on my nails and asking me during steps if I wanted them to be sharper, thicker, round, etc. Will not go to another nail tech after this.

Within a single day my gel manicure was already lifting at the cuticle. Within a week, chipping and lifting on multiple nails. This was a gel manicure so I expected it to last much longer. She really rushed the manicure and massage was just rubbing oil on, this is typically the difference between a full set and mani. I don't have time to constantly run back and forth to the nail salon so this is just irritating. I'm not sure if the product they're using isn't good quality any more or what it is but we had 3 different colors so it isn't just one product lacking. Both of my daughters normally get gel polish. Some times we have one or two come off after two weeks which is expected but my youngest daughter's gel polish fully pealed off of one toe nail the next day. There was also a misunderstanding with the pricing. We normally just do gel polish for $15, no pedicure. This time they asked if we wanted just to go ahead and get a pedicure, we've done this in the past at other places but some charge more than others so I verify prior. One worker said oh just $20, I clarified that we will be doing gel and said yes $20. I reiterated that we would be doing gel so I asked again, the $20 is for gel pedicure and she said yes. So I figured they may be running some sort of promotion this time. Wrong. We get to check out and I'm being charged $35 per child. I explained I asked more than once and reiterated that this was for gel and a pedicure and worker confirmed. After being a little more stern I explained that worker may have misunderstood but I wouldn't be paying an extra cost since I made multiple efforts to clarify. She then said they would offer a discount, it's not a discount when that was the price agreed but okay. I'm just very disappointed with the way their quality has deteriorated.
