I will never go to this place again!!!!! I had a whole hour to bathe my dog before they closed and I was told I'd have to finish up in 30 minutes or less. The sign on the door says last bath an hour prior to closing! Which we had a full hour, we arrived at 6pm they clis. This sign is a total LIE!!! They had an attitude about it as well. You have forever lost my business and all of my friends business as well!! In regards to the comment added by the owner : I understand not allowing your employees to have overtime. I brought another capable adult with me so that both dogs could be bathed at the same time (like I always have). So while it may have taken 45 minutes per dog to be bathed it would have only totaled 45 minutes not an hour and a half. Apparently you need to update your sign on the door. The nature of your business is to have the mess of bathing a dog at your facility and not the pet owners house, occasionally there may need to be some overtime to accommodate. It's kind of like a hair salon, in order to make your returning customers happy you make it work. It's sad that you'd rather pay two people to sit there for an hour and do absolutely nothing than to make good money off of a loyal customer. How long does it really take to clean up some dog hair?? Brought my Chihuahua in for a nail clipping and bath last week. I was greeted by the front desk guy whom was extremely nice. The place smelled good even amongst wet dogs :) Madison did my bath and nails for Hollywood and she was wonderful!! Pricing was great and she went over all the products they used. Beware, this place may charge you extra for their own errors. We have taken our young Golden Retriever here a few times for full service and generally everything has gone well. However, on our last visit we were charged a junk "handling fee" of $15. The cashier did not offer any reasoning behind what had occurred, instead I had to ask a series of questions, and eventually learned that my dog was simply anxious with the blow dryer. He was not aggressive and has never shown even the smallest hint of being so. It was not until I got home that I realized the fee was an additional $15, which naturally seems like a lot for "blow dryer anxiety". I called back to inquire further and spoke with, whom I presume was the same cashier, and kindly asked to speak with a manager about the charge. In a snarky tone, she said "I am the Manager". I'm not sure what she manages, but it's certainly not customer concerns and complaints. When I further explained my issue, all she said was "I understand". If she had really understood, than I assume the fee would not have been charged at all, as it's common knowledge that most dogs don't like blow dryers. Finally the alleged Manager transferred me to the "bather", who was quick to clarify that she not a groomer. My assumption is that a groomer would require more training. She was more polite/personable over the phone and offered additional details about the "incident". It turns out that the "blow dryer" claim was either a hoax or a misunderstanding on the manger/cashier's part. This time I was told that my dog had pulled on the leash as he was being led back to the bathing area, causing the bather to loose a finger nail. Naturally I asked for more details and found that the nails were not exactly appropriate for the job, good on her for being honest. I can understand it being upsetting to break a nail, but with proper personal care and leash handling, this likely could have been avoided. Perhaps there is a training opportunity for their staff, maybe the $15 will go towards that. My guess is that they were being too forceful and impatient, and now that I look back, my dog does seem a bit traumatized after leaving this place. Of course, this part is just speculation, but it has been mentioned in other reviews. My dog is friendly, gentle, and very well trained. We typically have bathed him ourselves and have not experienced the same challenges, so perhaps the staff and our dog are not a good fit. That said, he is easily frightened and could benefit from additional leash training in stressful situations. Given that I don't want to place all the blame on Mutt Puddle, I have elected to grant 2 stars and my last $7 tip. read more

I was a regular client for the self service dog wash, but today I went at 5:05 they close at 6:00 but declined me to use their services. If I showed up at 5:15 or later I could understand. We took our great pyrenees mix here. It was his first bath with us, and we thought we can handle bathing him using the self service which is only $25. They supply the pretty big tub, shampoo/conditioner, brush, cotton balls, ear claner, and towels. They have a few of these tubs for self service and they are first come first serve. Because our dog was shedding his winter coat, it was such a hairy mess and we were overwhelmed because our dog was just so scared and wanted to leave so bad. We tried to clean up as much we can but the staff let us know it was okay and hairy messes is common. Phew! Because of this, we decided from now on we will have our dog be groomed by the staff, haha! All they ask is that you bring his shots history and also to make an appointment as bookings fill up. The pricing for grooming isn't too bad too. It's good to know they give the option to do self service as well as full service. Because we don't have the equipment to wash our giant dog at home, self service seemed really good but yeah... we will just have them take care of him now haha. The staff is pretty friendly too! The water pressure was great, the nozzle lets you choose the type of flow. You are also able to adjust the temperature of the water which is awesome. The setup is great, you aren't too close to anyone and have enough space to move around. They provide shampoo/conditioner and hypo allergenic shampoo for you, I did bring my own deshed shampoo/conditioner as well. The dryer is pretty good. It's not the most forceful dryer but it worked much better than most self wash shops will offer. I would definitely use them again. read more

This place does a really great job at washing and trimming/cutting hair but when it comes to doing any nail trimming/buffing or any extra added stuff like teeth cleaning, the job doesn't ever seem to be done right and you have to pay extra for it. We just recently bought a file/buff tool to trim my dog's nails at home as well as a toothbrush so we don't have to pay the extra fees. The hair wash/cut is always done great though. read more

Terrible place to get your pet groomed. The lady clearly hated dogs and kept pulling on the skin under his jaw, and while he was tipping said it didn't hurt. I had her stop before his face was even trimmed and was still charged for a full haircut. It took us a week of working with him before he seemed like himself again. First time taking my dog here after not getting in same day at Pet Smart. I decided to do the self service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided everything! You have a private stall and an apron is available. They also recommended and gave the appropriate tools to use to remove hair and undercoat. She gave me professional grade shampoo and conditioner to help bring out the coat's shine. I was also given toothbrush, toothpaste, and ear cleaner. Towels are also provided. Took my 90 pound malamute there yesterday to use their self service stations. Facility was clean and they provided all of the supplies needed (including high powered dryers, a must for my dog and the main reason why I went there). I never realized how much hair my dog had until I started blow drying him and it looked like a snow storm in there. They were so nice and didn't seem fazed at all the hair flying around. One of their groomers Alli was even nice enough to come help me blow dry my dog, cutting down his drying time by at least an hour. I have a much higher respect for groomers now, seeing as I walked out of there as furry as my now clean and fluffy dog. Will definitely use them again. Only negative was the shampoo was pretty watered down, which on a shorter hair dog probably wouldn't be as bad but was hard to get a good scrub going into his coat. read more

I took my Lagotto Romagnolo puppy in for his first cut, I also took in cutting guide diagrams and offered a website to look at. The groomer insisted that she was familiar with my breed and that she knew how to cut him. I told her that this breed has rustic hair and not to blow out my puppy to cut him. I also showed her several pictures as to what the standard cut looks like. The groomer told me that she would make him cute, so I allowed her to continue. She blew out my puppy and then panicked when his hair got so "big". The cut she gave him was awful, resembling a poodle cut. She insisted that next time she would be able to deliver what she didn't do the first time, and stupidly I allowed her to cut him again. Again she blew out my dog and poodle cut him. She argued with me over the breed and origin of my dog. When a groomer obviously doesn't know anything about the breed, or how to cut rustic hair, they shouldn't tell you they do. I have had to let my puppy grow out so shaggy just so his coat can be properly groomed. read more

The website and door both state that last service will be 1 hour before close. The day I arrived was a Friday and they closed at 7:00pm. I arrived at 5:20 and was told not self service dog was after 5:00. I verified with the man working that they close at 7:00. I was there an hour and 40 minutes before the posted closing time. If the policy is 2 hours before close them update your door and website. Very unprofessional. Man behind the counter could care less. Total waste of my time. Good job, you lost a customer for life because you don't want to follow your posted hours. I will not return. read more
