During a recent trip to Glenwood, we stopped in here for some cuisine we can't get locally. The…read moreplace is huge, I think it was a Mexican restaurant before? We sat at the bear and there were at least 8 taps. I'm guessing they get pretty busy, but we were the only ones there besides another couple. 3 PM on a Sunday I guess. My wife got a wine and I stuck with water. Our server came over and took our order. We decided to share the Tandoori Chicken. Man what a treat! The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the momo sauce was so good I'm going to try to make it. We should have ordered a lot more. They forgot my garlic naan, but I was already full anyway. The meal was fantastic and a fairly big portion. We're definitely coming back here. It's so close to the I-70 exit, easy in easy off. I highly recommend Himalayan Cuisine and can't wait to come back for even more!

Very surprised to find Himalayan food out here. Passing by visiting we saw this walking around the…read morearea and it was the only few places to eat that was open. It was very nice and clean inside and not many people, but for a Tuesday still had a few others inside. We were greeted by the owner who is very kind and welcoming. She was taking orders and also manning the kitchen as well. We had a big family and she was so accommodating to us and even had some games for them to play while we waited for our food. There's also a nice relaxing sitting area with games if you're wanting to just sip some tea and relax. The food was delicious. We had the goat soup and the paneer masala with naan. Also some chais to go with the end of our meal. I'm glad she doesn't use pre-made chai, she had made a fresh batch herself which we've only had at very few Himalayan or Indian restaurants. The goat soup was very very filling and nutritious. The paneer masala was also very delicious and came with rice. Their naan is closer to the thin side, but still paired great with the curry and soup. She even gave us chai tea to-go for our long journey. This place is a gem and we very much recommend stopping by especially if you love Himalayan food. The service was wonderful and the ambiance was relaxed and quiet. Others may like more music or more decor, but I think it was great. The owner said she's still in the process of updating it now that it's just her managing the place so if you have been and you've been disappointed before, perhaps try coming back. Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised and change your mind!

I had been to the other location before and remember it was a breath of fresh air for a very small area that often will have limited food options. We were a group of eight and had no problem getting a seat on the patio on a Thursday evening this summer. The service was fast and doing her best for the size of the party, she forgot a couple of things, but she was still great. We all loved our dishes, I got the butter chicken and the Samosa, and it was exquisite, also the cold chai tea. Everyone really loved their plate, and the prices are super fair for the food and the area.

I ordered the vegetable thukpa, garlic, naan, and the chicken appetizer. The soup was great - though it could have been a bit spicier (I requested extra but I also get that restaurants play it safe with spice). The chicken was flavorful (though it needed a bit of salt) and was a generous portion for the price - I ended up splitting between three separate meals. The garlic naan (also needed salt) was good but it was even better toasted the next day. My favorite part was the wildly precise ready time of the food. I called it in and and asked how long, she said 7-8 minutes. It was literally ready in 7 minutes and 30 seconds. Lol.
