Giving this 2 stars mainly for the view and the ambiance inside the restaurant. I would rate the food at one star. Unfortunately, this was my second visit, and I left disappointed again. I paid $60 for a 7 oz tenderloin and fries, which were presented in an underwhelming manner. Way overpriced for what it is, which was my impression already on the first visit a couple of years ago. Sadly, I don't see myself returning and can't recommend it for the food.

We grabbed a tasting downstairs before our reservation and enjoyed the wine, and then we really enjoyed the food afterwards too. Also the view is pretty awesome. We were told to come for the marinated feta. We got that (feta), garlic prawns, a steak, the terrine, and mussels. Everything tasted great and cooked just right. I really liked the greens and potatoes that came with the meat cut too. My favorite was the terrine.

Restaurant is beautifully located in the Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery. Setting is stunning. Started with the marinated feta and dipping bread. Perfect amount of season and garlic. The seasoned olives were served warmed. For the entree we had the pan roasted halibut with fresh veggies and roasted potatoes. Delish! The waiter was chatting with us and very helpful. All in all, the restaurant was great.

Mac n cheese on the left and grilled cheese on the right of the plate. The fries that came with the sandwich not pictured (very tasty!).

Was hesitant to eat here after mixed reviews but we did a wine tasting at Mt. Boucherie and saw the restaurant had had gorgeous views and outside dining so it checked our requirements for a final dinner of our trip to Kelowna. We make a same day reservation for a Saturday in August and were advised the patio was first come/first serve. We got to our reservation a little early (4:45pm) and had no problem getting seated on the patio for our group of 7. We stuck to cocktails and beer as we didn't love the wine from the tasting. The Zombie cocktail was fantastic- our waiter warned that it packed a punch so it was enjoyed slowly. For food, every person loved their meal. I had halibut and other orders were pork chops, steak and frites, and the burger. For kids meals they offered chicken tenders, Mac and cheese, and grilled cheese. Our kids weren't super hungry- we had ordered them the Mac and grilled cheese. The adults at the table finished off the kid's meals as they were incredibly delicious! Our waiter was very helpful with suggestions for their menu as well as upbeat and fast with service! It was a perfect last dinner of our trip.

You walk in and it's always bumping and bartender is always making funky and cool drinks and everyone's always having a great time. Lots of conversation between friends or even between strangers at the bar. Service was always great. The best dish is the brussel sprouts - it always has something funky in it - marshmellows or grapes and then cheese. It was so enjoyable and they truly believed in their culinary art. I've always appreciated their evolution of their dishes and it was never boring to come back again and again. I truly hope the owners are able to create another restaurant as creative as this one and make it last. I really truly enjoyed this!

We booked a Happy Hour reservation for the long Sunday Easter long weekend at 4:30pm and we were the first to arrive. As Salt & Brick has an evolving fresh sheet menu, you never know what's on the menu but they usually have a few staples like their Brussel sprouts. As this was my boyfriend's first time here, we ordered the Brussell sprouts with popcorn and the Rigatoni. We were given the regular menu but did inquire about Happy Hour and the Brussel sprouts, pastas, and charcuterie board were on special. Unfortunately, they didn't have any oysters available that day. Small cozy atmosphere with a cute front porch. It's a small bar and kitchen that you can see and wonderful that you see and hear all the food being freshly made to order. Our server was friendly, chatty, and attentive but also gave us our space too. The Brussel sprouts served with cheddar popcorn, grapes, and ripped beer cheese is a bit salty, sweet, and so satisfying! My partner doesn't love Brussel sprouts but really enjoyed this dish. The Rigatoni was a bit rich with a nettle became sauce but served with the earthy lily spears, it was a well rounded dish altogether that we also enjoyed. Cute restaurant on the Downtown main strip that isn't a major chain, which is refreshing. Will continue to visit next time in town and hopefully they will have oysters then!
