    Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine Alfredo.

You can't get a better location than the Blind Angler has. Located right on the marina, you have great views on the lake. The restaurant was able to accommodate our large party on a holiday Monday despite being a very small restaurant. Unfortunately, we had horrible service as it appears others have with this location. We saw a waitress come to our table 4 times over the course of the night. No one got a drink refill, we were never asked about our meals and it took forever to get our bill. Now since we were 9 people, there was an automatic gratuity which I think played a part in our service. The food was what bumped the Blind Angler's rating. I really enjoyed the chicken parmesan. It was super crispy with lots of sauce and cheese on top. The pasta was also delicious with a very cheesy sauce.

Veg flatbread and to die for tuna poke nachos

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but the food and service are fantastic. Traveling with our dog saw that this place welcomed them on their patio so stopped in for a late lunch and will be going back again soon. The food is actually more "upscale " than many of the boutique winery restaurants and the prices very reasonable. We tried the Tuna Poke Nachos, to die for, and the veg flatbread that was also delicious. The nachos were a real surprise, ample pieces of sushi grade tuna with fresh avocado and mango, some pickled ginger and a wasabi crema on top of wonton chips. Do stop in and enjoy the great food.

Tucked in above the marina and next to the park in Peachland is a great little restaurant. Don't let the shabby chic exterior fool you, this place is good. We randomly stopped in for dinner as we passed through the area and were pleasantly surprised. They have both indoor and outside seating. It was a warm day and it was warm inside but we were fine once we had a seat. The outside deck seating had a full view of the setting sun of the lake. The only thing between the restraurant and the view is a small marina full of medium to large speedboats. Our waitress was quick and efficient. I had the BBQ chicken Brie sandwich which was delicious! The brief was melted in the chicken with bacon and BBQ sauce. I had never had the combination before but it was good! My dining companions had the same thing as me and all enjoyed. One had the BLT and said the bacon was especially flavorful. Our food was good. The service was quick, the food came out lightning fast, and we enjoyed everything. The view at sunset made it especially nice. I would definitely recommend this place. It's small, so don't expect to come with a large party unless you have prearranged it.

Steak with gnocchi in blue cheese cream sauce

Decent food, very poor service. Pros: - I had the steak and gnocchi in a blue cheese cream sauce. Yummy. Not too blue-cheesy, a bit over salted, not enough side veggies, but overall good. Overpriced for sure but I liked it. Cons: - Steak was overcooked (I asked for medium rare, received medium well) and they sliced it into pieces before serving it so it was pretty dried out. I'm not sure why they would have thought this is a good idea. - Service was extremely odd. We had 4 different servers and they were incredibly inconsistent - One server wouldn't even reach across to grab an empty plate. Asked my dining companion to hand it to her. Seriously? - Servers were constantly coming by asking "how's everything" after another server had asked 10 seconds prior. Literally. Like just coordinate and have one person ask. It was disruptive. - 3 of us had our food served at once, the 4th members food arrived 10 mins later while we all sat waiting with our food getting cold. Overall, the food is good and all 4 of us liked what we ordered. I'd recommend takeout instead of dining in.

Don't be scared off by the facade; the food is very good. Try to get a table overlooking the marina. The mussels were excellent as was the calamari. Try the stinky burger. The service was okay.

Took me years before I finally went to the Blind angler. My loss, I've been missing out. The food is amazing.

Excellent food I recommend the mussels. Very nice little place on the water. Best for seating of 2 to 4 people but can fit larger groups.

Whatever the reason, we all stop for urgent body functions - whether it be for intake or outtake (so to speak). Breakfast is the cornerstone of getting you started off on the right path of regularity. I still don't understand why Chicken and Pigs are the breakfast foods and not Cows but who's to argue about good bacon? Surely not me. I'm a bit of a bougie breakfast guy - you know, eggs delicately poached and placed ever so carefully on some form of flat starch, served with a sauce that better not be broken or I might go nuke on you. AND sometimes I'm that guy that wants a good chicken and waffle. And then if I'm having one of those days, I just want a good ol' American brekkie... You know the ones. If you're a GenX and older, it's that breakfast we saw on TV that everyone ate. The artery blocking, waist expanding, but who gives a crap 'cause I'm on cholesterol meds Breakfast of Champions. Well, if you're in that mood, you found the right place. Tootsies - I'm leaving the politically correct name crusades to all those "others" as I just came to quell the need for grease - by all extent is the place to get your brekkie on. It's a no-nonsense diner with decor that befits the era where food was served and no one knew what a nutritional guide was. AND it's located in what else, the areas industrial spot, where people can eat a buzzillion calories and burn it off before lunch. Walk in and you get a polite "sit anywhere you want" and we do. Table and booths are available, equally having the slight stickiness that says you are at an old fashioned diner. Ahhhh... My childhood floods back! Food here is simple. Eggs, meat, starchy stuff and coffee. They come in different sizes and if you had your ozempic shot, order away! Eggs were spot on, bacon was salty perfect, and coffee had that unforgetable taste of a carafe with brown slick of coffees past - ahhhhh... Good old days! It's not destination dining but if you happen to be out and about and don't know where to break your fast? Think Tootsies - no matter what you might think of the name. Cheers.
