Great food! Pretty standard menu with a good assortment of options! Pizza and chicken sliders were my favourite! Service was great, was my brother's birthday and the staff gave him a free drink which was nice of them! Very nice multilevel restaurant with a large patio right on the boardwalk! Place gets really busy around 5-7 as you'd expect so I'd definitely reserve or come later in the evening!

I love this place, it's a great location with good vibes, great drinks, and fantastic staff. King Taps is huge and it is always busy! Lucky for us, we got some prime patio seating to enjoy the sunshine and yes, even a move to another good seat when the sunshine started turning this girl into a tomato. The staff is always kind and for this visit I was super impressed with how well our trainee waiter did. He was so attentive and nice, he truly cared. Per usual, the food and drinks are top notch. There's so many options on the menu, but I've got to say there's not a bad option. I've had burgers, slices of pizza, and for this visit a shared appetizer and salad. Plus, both their cocktails and mocktails are delicious. I went with the classic Hugo Spritz just to really make the most of the first summer feeling day we'd seen in a while.

Korean fried chicken that was served to us in under 2 minutes - wasn't fresh

After hearing rave reviews of the new King Taps location that recently opened in Langley, we decided to check out the King Taps in Kelowna. The location is water front and was busy even at 9pm when we went for late night Happy Hour. We did make a reso but had to wait a few minutes before we got seated. Started off ordering a beer, Korean Chicken, Notorious Pizza, and The Bolo pasta. Within 2 minutes of placing our order, we literally got the Korean Chicken dish and were tokd the dish was "hot". It appeared that the Korean Chicken dish was not made fresh to order and we got whatever was sitting around as the batter was soggy and the chicken inside was dry. However, the sauce was amazing and we really enjoyed that. As the server wasn't around and didn't check in on us for awhile, we didn't get a chance to send it back and just ate the chicken as we were hungry. The pizza and pasta were fine but very average. For a place that's known for their pizza, expected something better and the overall experience to be more positive as the disappointing experience on the Korean chicken soured the experience for us, especially as our first visit to King Taps. To be served chicken that was sitting around and clearly wasn't made fresh to order didn't make sense for a place operated under the Cactus club banner and with the location being so popular. We did end up providing feedback to the restaurant and it took them a week to respond but all they said was that our experience was disappointing for them to hear and they didn't offer any steps on how to rectify the situation to make our impression of King Taps to be more favorable, or how they would take steps to prevent the Korean fried chicken incident from happening again. Can see King Taps lasting in Langley but don't think it would do as well in Vancouver when you can get much better service and food almost anywhere else.

We were out exploring a little and wound up at King Taps on the Kelowna waterfront. The waterfront area is bustling with walkers, shoppers and a very busy boat ramp. King Taps is a large open air space with a full rectangular bar in the center. We sat next to the large plate glass window which is actually the wall. Our server was very nice and efficient. We ordered a burger which was very good the patty was seasoned well. Mama had a very good turkey club. She's on a club kick this trip. The star in my opinion was the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. So good. So many flavors going. We were placed at a raised up bar style table with tall chairs. Usually those type of chairs are uncomfortable to me but this one was comfortable and well padded. Not sure if we would be back since I don't know when we would visit Kelowna again but you never know.

Our experience from the moment we showed up and interacted to the sweet hostess to paying the bill was nothing shy of a good experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful but quite hectic. Which is fine, the servers and customers are polite about it. I think it was more hectic this particular day because it was a Saturday happy hour and football was on. The food was delicious, zero complaints. Our server, Olivia, went above and beyond to make our experience a great one, she was very kind and professional.

Our last dinner in Kelowna was extra sad. This restaurant has an AMAZING view from the patio (lake front). However, the view was of the Forest Fire in West Kelowna. As we sat and enjoyed our dinner, people were being evacuated from their homes. My heart goes out to them. It was very busy, and our server did well. He also added an extra slider on an app since we had 4 people and let me sample 3 beers before ordering. It was louder than usual just because everyone was mesmerized by the fire across the lake. As for food, I would say it was pretty decent for how busy the place was. Food came out fairly fast and was pretty tasty. I would definitely say check this place out just cause of the patio. Enjoy the beauty of Lake Okanagan!

a busy restaurant with people sitting at tables

So this is supposedly a partner restaurant of Cactus Club. Is it as good? No, but perhaps worth a visit. The food was good. I enjoyed the pizza and the drinks. Well, besides the salty beer that they now have at Cactus. It's nothing like a bud light lime FYI. Lol They do have the same truffle fries, and they have the mousse trio that Cactus Club took off their menu. So good! The ambiance esthetically pleasing, and the service is fair. If you're in Kelowna and looking for a casual place to go, try this place out. It's good for a group, which is nice

Loved everything, went for lunch with friends from Germany they loved the atmosphere the view of the lake the food There was live music well one man band he was awesome. Was my first time their also will definitely be back.

The music was just too loud, the group I went with loves concerts and are used to loud but this was uncomfortable loud, all the staff had earplugs (definitely bring some). Outside is very nice winter and summer, the fire pits are great for large group and warm. If you are going on a Saturday live music night, go early or u might not find seats. Really enjoyed!!

The inside space is more of a common table experience with lots of seating and the outside space is both covered and patio seating where you can bring your dogs. The pizza was a bit too cheesy for my liking but that's likely because we came here on a busy Friday evening. It was hard to find room for 4 people to sit next to each other but I did notice that they do take reservations. We ended up finding a space which wasn't undercover and was quite cold (they didn't have a heater nearby).

Came to eat here with my fiancé after playing a few machines in the casino and we were confused by the entrance. No hostess or signs saying to either seat yourself or wait to be seated so we stood confused and waited for almost 10 minutes - didn't want to seat ourselves and potentially mess up a servers station which is why we stood and waited for that long. Signs or something would be good for first time customers... Numerous waiters walked right by us and definitely seen us but did not greet us or let us know where we should sit, not even smile at us. It was not a busy night with a lot of patrons so it felt a bit ignorant to not even acknowledge our presence in the slightest. The bar is right next to the entrance and the bartender who was wiping glasses FACING US with only 1 man at the bar, didn't even try to help us or acknowledge us either. The man sitting at the bar told us to just walk in and get a table - so a CUSTOMER had to acknowledge us and let us know we could seat ourselves. Super cold and unwelcoming first impression, but we were hungry and interested in trying the food so we sat ourselves. We ordered a drink each to start from our waitress - a beer and cocktail. Our waitress, along with the other staff, was too busy gossiping all together in the corner to notice the bartender finished making our drinks so we seen our drinks just sitting on the bar counter for 10 minutes out in open accessible to anyone! Which is absolutely not okay, considering anybody could have walked by and spiked our drinks, especially if we weren't seated where we could see them. Just generally a dangerous practice as they were unattended, out in the open for anybody to do anything with. I ended up having to get up and grab our drinks and serve ourselves.... where's my tip lol? Our server was still too busy gossiping with her coworkers and never brought us any water, thankfully one waitress walked by our table and we had to wave to ask for some water. Generally one of the first things you are served at restaurants is water, regardless of if you are ordering any drinks besides water. Water was served lukewarm (and drinking lukewarm water is... just lukewarm itself) with 0 ice. Our waitress finally finishes her gossip sesh and takes our order after another 10 mins of waiting. We decide we don't even want to sit around in this place any longer because the service was below subpar, so we skip any main meals and order only appetizers. We ordered the Calamari and Wings. The wings were quite nice except our server did not bring any cutlery, napkins, or wet wipes to the table so after finishing, we had to go to the bathroom to wash our hands. Even fast food places will give you wet wipes, or at the very least, NAPKINS.... The calamari was absolutely gross. Teeny little pieces no bigger than a thumbnail put on the plate with a bigger serving of just the deep fried coating crumbs - FOR $17! It was not deep fried properly so they were just soggy little bits of squid we had to pinch with our fingers. Opa's serves a better calamari for $10, and compared to here, it seems gourmet. Our waitress was MIA and never even checked on us again for the entire duration of our meal. No water refills, offering another drink, or asking how everything is. When we did see her walking around, it seemed she was purposefully avoiding our table. Either that or maybe she really was that oblivious. We are in no means bad guests at any restaurant we go to, even when the service is terrible as we have an understanding of working in this industry so i'm not sure what that was about. Even though we were frustrated, we never displayed it in our tone of voice or body language towards her or the other waitress who served our waters. It was late so I understand if maybe she was tired or something, but it's just not okay to purposely ignore us - considering we were the only table she was serving. It felt cold. Flagged her down after 15 minutes of sitting there with dirty dishes on our table to ask for the check and left; dissatisfied and actually quite appalled at the experience. Easily the worst service we have ever had, we got better service from the bar in the casino area, which was super busy. Literally never coming back, it was actually quite shocking. To make guests feel so uninvited and ignored and have them SERVE THEMSELVES because the staff are like background NPC's is absolutely a joke. This place would be better off turning into a buffet, seeing as you have to serve yourself. At least that way, you could make sure to grab yourself some napkins and cutlery lol.
