For the longest time I was told to visit BNA bar if you ever went to Kelowna. And now I can see why! I stopped by at 5 when the restaurant was open and there a line up outside the door and for good reason. Happy hour! Good food, cheap beer, good service and a great ambiance. They even have an arcade upstairs alone with a bowling alley! This place was amazing. I had their smash burger (it is only one patty on the happy hour menu) along with a beer and my friends had the wonton nachos and wings. The food was very good. The beer was pretty cheap for happy hour and there was quite a rush. I quite enjoyed my evening here and can't wait to come back! read more

Such a blast at this establishment! My girls and I had such a good time on Thursday we decided to come back on Friday. Our lovely bartender John was attentive to our orders, even giving us recommendations to our drinks and stay at Kelowna. We had an awesome night and we have to give credit to John for it ! read more

Fun place to hang out! Ive been here many many times with friends, for a meal, drinks, late night fun, bowling. The food is really good and there is a good selection of drinks. Staff are really friendly and it seems organized. They have a cool set up since it's two floors, the speakeasy is a cool area too. They sometimes have events around Halloween and such, which has been really fun. It does get quite busy on weekend nights, so prepare to wait outside. During the day or week it's not as busy. If you're waiting to get in, going to BNA burger next door is fun, they have games, food and drinks. They previously would honour your receipt from BNA burger to go into BNA brewing and skip the line, not sure if they still do this tho. I don't go as much recently as the crowd seems to be (much) younger these days. Still a great place to go to. read more

Okay so... if you're in Kelowna, you HAVE to come to BNA brewing atleast once on your trip. The food is extremely delicious... the service is spectacular. What's cooler is that they have a bowling alley in house as well which is interesting concept. When you're here, its really a mix of pub style and restaurant... an in between. Was excited to visit but was disappointed in the food and pricing. We enjoyed a flight a beer each and they were decent. However, for the price of 2 tiny halibut tacos at $19 and then to be charged $9.50 for one extra seems pretty over the top for an establishment like this. Also, I must say I have eaten fish tacos many times but never ones that were this disappointing. My partner had the smash burger and didn't complain but it was pretty ordinary. Excellent food in a really neat, cabin-style interior. They catered really well to gluten free guests - I had truffle fries, tuna tartare (they subbed gf soy sauce for the ponzu), and the sausage pizza on a gluten free crust. It's a great place to grab a drink and enjoy some comfort food. The service was good, no complaints. Outstanding brewpub. My pizza was very tasty. I got the Brewers pizza. I had a taster of their two ne ipas and their sour, Purple Rain. They were all good, the sour was incredibly tasty. I love the decor and the atmosphere. It is just too bad that we can't roam around with restrictions in place. We found street parking easily off the side streets. We were seated immediately but that is likely because we were there by 5pm on a Friday. I would say the beers are mediocre (we tried 9 of them), but the food and everything else is wonderful. The bowling alley is of course full. We would love to come back again. read more

I took my partner here for his birthday and we loved it. We got the pasta and Filipino fried rice and shared a bottle of wine. Our server Jarrett was fantastic and knew a ton about the history of the building and provided exceptional service. We reserved the bocce area. The bocce set and lawn was in great condition. We came here for dinner with a couple friends. We had pre made reservations and were seated pretty much as the doors opened for the night. I ordered a couple of sours which were quite good my wife had a sleeve of a stout the table ordered 2 sets of wings..their wings are absolutely delicious! Probably the best thing we ate that night. My wife ordered the Kung pao Street fries and I ordered the beef Rendang... The street fries were good with great flavor. The beef Rendang on the other hand was nothing special. Unfortunately it had quite a bland flavor mentions Thai chilli but there was no spice at all. Going back I would have gotten 2 sets of wings as they were awesome! I came to BNA with family and friends. I had the portobello fries and bison bolognese ragu rigatoni. The portobello fries were crispy and delicious and came with a delectable rock crab dip. The bison bolognese ragu was served with homemade rigatoni. The bison was so tender, the pasta perfectly al dente, and it was the best thing I've eaten in a while! I highly recommend these two dishes. Atmosphere is unique. Decorations are in a typical British Columbia style, with lots of wooden accents. There is a even a bowling alley and a old-fashioned campervan from which drinks are served. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Price is good, at around 10$ for apps and 20$ for entrees. read more

Did not look like much but my local friend said we would have fun and some good food as well. He was right! We had just finished our round of most incredible golf at predator ridge and were both hungry and thirsty. Our needs were met at BNA beyond my belief. Ok.... walked in ordered a wonderful local IPA on tap from a most awesome host and bartender who served us from an airstream trailer inside BNA. He kept our beers coming as we played bocci ball. Yes... bocci ball. great fun. Later he brought us menu's and was very happy with the quality of the food that was served. I had a Fillipino Rice bowl with crispy pork belly and some other delights. We had an amazing time at the BNA tasting room. Each of their eight brews were really unique and all easy on the tastebuds. I especially loved the ISA and the Pancho (but there's something for everyone). Brittney was fantastic, she was pouring and educating at the same time. Some of the friendliest, most welcoming service I've seen. She knew her stuff and handled the crowds with ease. This place was full with people bringing in the growlers for refills. It's $10 for 2L of delicious beer so I can see the attraction. Also a few folks like us, tasting a flight or two. The tasting room is small (room for 8-10 comfortably) but it was cozy and cool. A bit more space to stretch out would make this experience a six star. read more

So this is my third visit overall, but my second in two nights! Last night I had the char sui pork roast. This dish was so good I'd recommend it to a vegan. I've never tried anything like it. It took every ounce of will power to order something different tonight, and trust me I wasn't disappointed! Round 2 was fish tacos followed by Filipino friend rice. Needless to say I can't wait to move to Kelowna so I can eat here on the regular. Might even have to apply for a job so I can learn that char sui pork. Almost forgot, they brew their own beer. We also loved that the menu changes as the local food is ready at the farm gate. Fun find in Kelowna. Off the main drag and yet in the heart of Kelowna's cultural district. Ever since opening, BNA has been (in my opinion) the best brewery in Kelowna. Not only do they have a large selection of interesting and delicious craft beer, but they have a delicious food menu. A lot of breweries have food as an after thought, but this definitely isn't the case at BNA. Highly, highly recommend this place whether you're looking to taste some craft beer, have a delicious meal, or have a fun afternoon/evening of bowling. read more

Parking never seems to be a issue but you may have a few minute walk to get there. Give the local beers a try. Some are very unique. Even the strawberry beer is good. read more

Stopped in here as part of the Smile Cycle Tour of downtown breweries and we were not disappointed. Very cute tasting room on the side next to the larger restaurant area. The tasting room was pretty full when we stopped in so we all grabbed out flights and headed to the main restaurant to enjoy them, we sampled three different beers and I really liked them all. I came here the last Saturday night with a large group of people (10) who were celebrating a milestone birthday and were in a party mood. I'd heard good things about the place and so I was interested to finally try it out. I don't know what I was expecting exactly... the service was good although I noticed a subtle hint of arrogance from several of the servers and the bartender - like an air that says "yes, I work at BNA and I'm so good". The food was fine and no complaints came from any of our entourage about their meals. Dishes came out piping hot and without much wait considering it was a busy Saturday night and we arrived without reservations, taking up a full lounge table and seating all around. I really can't say there were any beats missing but I don't know why - to me it just fell a little short of all the hype. BNA, although it's unique enough with a bowling alley upstairs and the building of a new tasting room next door, is missing a certain distinct flair or perhaps a difference in culture. It's a busy pub for sure (perhaps a little on the pretentious side), and yes the service was alright, yes the food was alright with no complaints (it certainly wasn't mind blowing or anything!)... but it is missing something. To me it just doesn't stand out above the rest but I was really hoping it would. I personally am not buying into the hype yet, BNA. I'm open to a review of this down the road though :) read more
