We were at the cidery on Monday, May 18th, which was Victoria Day. The pizza and cider was very good, we really enjoyed it. The staff however, seemed like we were an inconvenience to them. The cleanliness and clearing of messes was a concern as well. We were on the rooftop patio and had to step over napkins at the top of the stairs that were left the entirety of our visit. There were tables outside that had previous customers dishes and garbage left for at least the full 2 hours that we were there. Staff were coming up and down regularly but just left garbage and dishes sitting there. Washrooms were very dirty and in need of a deep clean. Overall, the cidery has a good vibe and is a fun place to chill and have some food and drinks. Staff being more conscientious with keeping up with tasks would make us much more likely to return. read more

Love this cider place! It's super close to the airport so if you're catching a flight out of Kelowna I would recommend coming by here for some food, drinks, or both! They offer a wide menu of drinks including different flavours of ciders, wine and beer. They also offer food, including gluten friendly items. I love this place for the cider! Was excited to try the food as it always looks good. But I struggle with gluten and the pizza crust they offer they way over cooked! It was sooo hard we couldn't eat a lot of it. That being Said the regular crust seemed ok- that our friends ordered. The flavor was ok though! Service was pretty slow, but that seems to be everywhere... The cider is great and I love their variety! After our visit to Kangaroo Creek Farm, we went to Upside Cider for lunch. We arrived around 11:30am, so we had to wait until noon to order pizza (I don't know why we couldn't order and pay in advance), but no matter -- we had flights of cider and charcuterie boards to keep us occupied, and the pizza was well-worth the wait. The cider flights consist of four samples, and I had: plum rosé, tropical pear, peach bourbon, and the hazy nectarine. All were quite good, with the peach bourbon being my favourite, which also seemed to be the favourite amongst our group. Three pizzas, three charcuterie boards, several flights, and two hours later, we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. If you are in Kelowna, I recommend a stop at Upside Cider, whether for a drink, a snack, or a full meal. Bonus -- they have lots of gluten free options. Great selection of cider. We had ordered 2 flights of samples... all the ciders were unique...they even had homemade sparkling apple cider which my hubby the designated driver likes. My fav is the Peach Bellinis. Place was good & packed on a Sunday evening- lots of places to sit. They even have food services, which is great for family with younger children who are not of the legal drinking age to have dinner with their parents. The only negative comment was ordering at the bar fir the ciders were confusing. An atypical restaurant setup, however, an unbelievable experience. They have indoor seating as well as a rooftop patio overlooking orchards and the awesome British Columbia landscape. This is a great spot and dog friendly. We came here for my wife's birthday lunch, and a surprising number of other restaurants were closed on Monday/holiday. When we got here with our dog, all of the outside spots were taken. However, we were still offered to get a table on the rooftop deck (before a spot opened outside). The pooch even received a dish filled with ice water. The vegan pizza crust was very tasty and the homemade pickled veggie plate was an interesting mix, especially with the gluten-free chip/crackers. At first I loved Upside Cider because they remained open to everyone during the plandemic, and all my friends loved them too. The food is always good and the cider is delicious (love the cherry!). They have board games and large tables for hours of group laughter, and the ambiance has always been great. This is why I decided to book their separate room for my beau's surprise 60th birthday party. In this way, they far surpassed just good cider and food. Nicole worked with me for a few months, keeping in close communication with me for any questions I had as things came up during the planning of the event. Roughly 60 people came out to celebrate even though the room only seats roughly 40 people, it made an excellent standing, mingling, and dining/sitting space with even enough room for my musician to plug in. The garage doors were opened for access to the outside and fresh air, and all of my guests were thoroughly impressed not only with these details, but with the excellent service provided by all the servers and especially our very own bartender for the evening, Mike, who brought his professionalism to my guests with pride and a smile. We each had a flight of cider and enjoyed the drier ciders as that is always our preference. The Winter Banana (a type of apple actually) cider is too 'fruity' for us as it is made from fruit apples rather than cider apples. But others really enjoyed it. Had a small charcuterie plate with our ciders and was impressed with the selection, taste and presentation. The pizzas looked inviting but we were not that hungry so can't comment on those other than the toppings looked like options to try. 3 friends and I visited for the first time on Nov 17. There were 3 staff and no other customers in the cidery. I ordered one flight for myself to try and I carried it myself over to the chairs where my friends were sitting by the windows. When I pushed the wooden flight holder towards a friend for him to taste, I accidently spilled a whole glass. My friend jumped up and went over to the counter and asked the staff for a rag to clean it up. She gave him a rag he proceeded to wipe up the mess. He returned the rag to the same staff and asked for her to wring it out so he could wipe up the remainder of the spill. Again she gave him back the rag and never offered to do any of the cleanup, nor did she acknowledge it and never even offered to refill the empty glass that I did not get to taste. We thought this was very bad customer service. read more
