We came here as a group of 4. This is Jammery's second location. The first one is usually way busier than this location. This new location opened at the beginning of this year and only until recently we got a chance to try it. The first location is located in Lake Country and with this location being in Kelowna, it is about 15 mins drive from where we were staying so that was perfect. The restaurant itself is somewhat small with no more than 20 tables. The restaurant itself is quite busy on the any day of the week with the exception of Sunday. The trick is to come on Sunday because many people in Kelowna goes to church. They use the texting method to wait for a table. So you basically go up and leave them your number and they will text you when the table is ready. The wait is about 30 mins. They do have jams on site for sale. My friend H got the smoked salmon on half waffle, B got the bluebery waffle and mimosa and B's mom and I got the Jammery breakfast bowl. The food was tasty and ingredients were fresh. I do like their jam (I got the apple cinnamon). Service was pretty good. But if I were to compare this location with the original Lake Country location, it seems the other is definitely way better. Not sure if I am picky or what but the breakfast here is nothing special but again it doesn't mean I don't like it. Sometimes simple isn't a bad thing. So if you are looking for something fancy or special or even out of the ordinary, this might not be the right place for you. Good thing here is that there are free parking and it is easty to find.

The food was spot on, the service once seated was great, and parking was great however this location might still be working out the kinks! We came on Sunday just before noon and despite empty tables our wait was 25 minutes. I hope that guests have compassion on difficult times while the food and hospitality industry recovers. The options for breakfast are endless and my "Italian" eggs Benedict with a red pepper jelly, prosciutto And salami was delicious! There is an option to get your Benedict on half a waffle which is also super special and unique. It's a nice option in Kelowna instead of having to drive out past the airport but doesn't have as extensive of a gift shop!

Having had lunch at the Jammery in lake country and totally enjoying it we decided to have breakfast at the Kelowna proper location on our way out of town.

The pumpkin cake featured dark chocolate, a sable base, pumpkin pie custard, and passionfruit cheesecake. The pumpkin pie custard resembled the filling of a pumpkin pie and was covered by pumpkin-shaped chocolate. The passionfruit cheesecake layer was not very dominant, allowing for a well-balanced combination with the pumpkin pie custard. The sable base complemented the dessert perfectly. The apple dessert featured apple-lime compote, yuzu mousse, a white chocolate shell, and a sbrisolona cookie base. The apple-lime compote was tangy, but it blended well with the yuzu mousse, making it seriously delicious. I usually can't handle tangy desserts, but I enjoyed this one; it was that good. The sbrisolona cookie included almonds (or possibly other nuts), which added a great flavor as well. The maple pecan cube croissant was very delicious, too. A notable point was the filling; the maple flavor was delightful, leaning slightly on the sweeter side but still so good. The maple drizzle with pecans on top of the cube croissant made it even more delicious. I highly recommend this item! Without visiting Karat, my trip to Kelowna wouldn't be complete. I can't wait to visit this bakery-café to try different items.

Although the macarons were good, the best I've had were at Bon Macaron Patisserie in Vancouver. However, the other sweets were outstanding. I highly recommend the Moulin Rouge (flourless mousse cake) any of the chocolates that include caramel, and the cherry ganache (candy). They also had mille-feuille, which is made of thin layers of pastry with pastry cream in between. It blew my mind. Service was okay. The young women who worked in both places were super busy and a bit impatient. As far ambiance goes, everything was bright white and clean. Expect a line.

I ordered the Supreme Croissant, NYC Toffee Roll Praline, and London Fog Tea to eat in. I also got a Croque Monsieur, Millefeuille, and Cruffin for take-out. The NYC Toffee Praline Supreme Croissant was very delicious. The dough was crispy on the outside and nicely moist on the inside. The filling was very flavorful, and I highly recommend this item. The London Fog Tea was okay and paired nicely with the croissant. The Croque Monsieur was very tasty, making it a delicious savory option. The Millefeuille had a wonderfully crispy pie crust, and the cream was perfectly sweet; I really enjoyed it. The Cruffin's filling was very flavorful, although the dough could have been crispier. Nevertheless, it still tasted very good. Overall, I really enjoyed visiting this bakery-cafe. It had a cute ambiance and many options for cakes and baked goods. I would love to try their cream puffs or other cakes next time!

I was surprised to see so much Asian influence in Kelowna. I went to the Kelowna heritage museum…read moreand they had some information about Chinese Canadians who had immigrated during the gold rush/railroad building days, so it seems like a lot of them have stayed or maybe there has been more recent immigration of Chinese and Japanese and Korean people. Not sure, but I'm not mad. There are so many boba places to choose from! Unfortunately for me, most places in Kelowna close at or before 8pm and my boba window is usually a little later. I had committed myself to one boba drink per day, but it ended up being that I was only able to get boba twice on this trip to Kelowna. Fermosa is pretty centrally located between Kelowna airport and downtown. It's in a strip mall and has good parking. The interior is rather spacious and they sell other things like artwork and plushies. For food and drinks, I noticed a display of cakes and desserts. They also offer course have boba drinks. I judge places like this on their milk tea quality and even though the worker was checking her work with the boss and he kept saying it was ok (they both tasted the drink they made me), it really was just ok to me. It's not the best milk tea I've had. The boba was good though, so I think if you like other drinks like fruity ones or matcha or other teas, this might be a great place. The female worker who helped me was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised that the Chinese Canadians I interacted with this trip were so soft spoken and nice. Like I felt that they genuinely were grateful for my business and they were patient and kind people.

The place is bigger than we anticipated -- lots of seating for group games etc. I'm a fan of the local art featured on the walls and the Taipei 101 tower decor. The menu is pretty tea-focused, so I wasn't sure if I would find something caffeine-free for myself. Thankfully I spotted fresh taro milk somewhere (not on the main menu) and got very excited. Got it with no ice and less sugar, and it honestly was just as good as many places in Vancouver. Price-wise, the fresh taro specifically is on the steeper side ($9.15 after tax for a large) - comparable to the big chains. Should also mention that the lady who took our order was clearly Taiwanese, which helps with authenticity. Overall a very pleasant surprise -- would definitely return while were in here in Kelowna!

It was busy when we were in. We got what we paid for. This isn't the type of place I would normally choose to eat at and there weren't any vegan options on the menu so I got a summer salad without chicken or cheese. The salad was pretty small and was a typical one with lots of shredded iceberg lettuce and came with two little slices of bread on the side. The bread had a bit of sweetness and raisins in it. I personally prefer salads with at least mostly mixed greens or more spinach but iceberg gives a better profit margin. I saw this place had good reviews but nothing that I saw and what I ate - none of it really wowed me. It seemed like food that someone could easily make themselves at home. Overall it is a very cute little place with a very homey feel and the dinnerware they use is very colourful and cute. The service was good and the lady that brought our food to us was very nice and friendly.
