This is a great coffee shop with an impressive assortment of baked goods and hot breakfast and lunch menus. Great that they're open early on Sunday at 7 for us early risers. It's a corner location with big windows to watch the world go by on Pandosy. There's outdoor seating, too. read more

Cute little neighborhood café. A little country and a lot colorful ceramics. Marmalade Cat Café was a comfortable place to start your morning. The décor was colorful enough without giving you a headache. My husband and I shared 2 sandwiches. The Pesto Chicken, which was edible, but average. I wish I remember what the second sandwich was because it was good, but wasn't on the regular menu. It was a vegetarian sandwich with chickpeas and dill. Wish I took a closer picture to help me jog my memory. In any case, it was a pleasant experience for our trip to Kelowna. read more

Really like this place. Not much Marmalade or cats, but the theme is spot on. As we were heading into Kelowna we needed to find a breakfast place and what did I do? Check Yelp of course. Plug in my geographical and culinary requirements and presto! This review popped out at me. Fellow friend Yelper Amy T wrote a review here and I just had to check it out. When I entered the place it felt sunny and happy inside. Very good for karma and they offered gluten free items too. Decent assortment of teas. Fresh coffee and salads. Seating is casual communal sit where you like. Ok well don't sit in the floor, but y'know what I mean. I had to try the croissant breakfast sandwich with ham and cheese. That was it. Good enough to fill the tummy and satisfy the inner growlys. It's a nice happy place to come and enjoy some beverage and a paper. read more

Honestly, I was really disappointed that we chose this cafe while on vacation for the first time in Kelowna. To start out, the girl taking our order was having a very difficult time with a quite simple order: two lavender shortbread cookies, one chocolate chip cookie, one grilled cheese on multigrain, one chicken breast sandwich with no sauce, no cranberry sauce either; and two drinks which they offered whip cream with. We got our sandwiches about 15 mins later, along with our drinks. No whipped cream and the chicken sandwich had cranberry sauce on it. Sent it back. About 8 minutes later we got the sandwich back again- now with a TON of mustard. It ended up being a 34$ meal that primarily went into the garbage. The cookies were hard and stale. The drinks were overpriced at over 5$ for a very small frappe. Don't waste your time. Also- there's no cats here. read more

I love this little cafe. It's eclectic and has all sorts of alternative eating options: vegetarian, gluten free and vegan. One of my favourite parts of spending any time there is the staff. They are happy, friendly and always ready offer a recommendation for something yummy. All the muffins and scones are made in house first thing every morning. I love their Morning Glory muffin. They also make the BEST London Fog in Kelowna. The teas are loose leaf and you can tell the difference. My favourite drink is an extra hot half sweet almond milk London Fog. Check it out! This is a quaint little cafe with a lovely gift shop attached. Wood floors give it a very warm welcoming ambiance. The food is great especially the scones and soup. This is a go to place for me and mum or my sister and I when I'm in town for catching up over brekkie or lunch. Walking through the gift shop afterward is simply a bonus. Location is great just hard to find parking space on the weekends. Food is okay. I have been there a few times and I always remember why I shouldn't come back... The lack of communication between the person on the till and the person who makes the coffee is now going too far. I asked for medium roast coffee and they were out but the girl on the till said she would put more on to make. I wait at least 10!min and my food arrived and when I went for my coffee they said "we are out but I can give you dark coffee", I refused because I ordered medium roast coffee and it is a coffee shop for god sake so I want the coffee I did ask for. Long story short I got my coffee after another 15 min. Not coming back!! Lesson Learned. read more

Unsure of the food, will try that part of the menu next time, this review is for the Chai Tea latte alone. I rarely use this term, I will qualify it by saying the last time I used it was in London England when I had my first pint of true Real English Ale certified by CAMRA, and said "it was like drinking ice cream". That's what this ChaI Tea Latte was like. It destroys every Chai Tea Latte I have ever had right out of the water. And it was delivered to my sidewalk side table in a true blue "Honey I Married an Axe Murderer" San Francisco wide mouthed coffee house cup. This sucker was good. Real good. Good enough that I spent the whole time I was draining it to "get that goodness in me" Wondering when I could back to get another one. So don't go to Marmalade Cat and order one, so that when I go back the line will not be out the door and you will not be sitting at my sidewalk table enjoying my experience. They Introduced me to my new favourite red (roobios) tea lattes, and I couldn't be happier! As a non coffee drinker, I was so excited to have a hot drink option other than just regular tea, and I have never loved the tea lattes 'other' places offer as they all have sweeteners in them, not my cuppa tea! They have various Red tea options, from Lattes to Americanos etc... As far as food goes, they have a great selection. so far I have tried their muffins, and scones...simply delish! Can't wait to explore more of their menu. Looks like they do breakfast, sandwishes, wraps, salads as well as their awesome baked goods! Great atmosphere too!! read more

It's good. It's stand and order, then they bring it to you. It's fresh and well done. It's totally not a full serve cafe so I don't know why anyone would expect table service. It's obvious through the door. And it's not that expensive. Pretty standard cost for quality food. The food is interesting and super tasty. My fiance and I love this place we've added it to our regular spots to visit at least once a week. We love that they have almond milk and gluten free options for soup, drinks, desserts and sandwiches. I tried the gluten free brownie and it was just a bit too sweet, even for me....I'm still losing teeth. Their merchandise is almost there, I would ALMOST buy some of the things, but the mugs and whatnot are just hokey and a little old school, maybe that's the point, I don't know, but if this review helps them get some mugs with clever or witty sayings that sell and bring in more revenue for the place, I'm all for it :) Also we were bummed that they shut down the place all day when there was a 1 hour long power outage....we made a special trip out, so that was sad. read more

Although I wasn't disappointed, I was also not all that impressed. I had a panini that was super tasty! The food all looked and sounded great. The biggest issue was the overall vibe and the coffee. The baristas/cashiers left a lot to be desired service and presentation wise. The execution just wasn't it. Maybe more training would do them good. The occasional dish comes out alright but very inconsistent. The real detriment to this place is the staff, who seems totally indifferent to the concept of customer satisfaction. From the disgusting washrooms (especially during a global pandemic of coronavirus), to the negative vibe in the place, and having to observe most everyone else in the cafe complain about SOMETHING wrong with the place (wrong orders, missed items, and again the horrible washrooms)... won't be going back. Usually pretty good service but recently it took 30 mins to get my tuna sandwich, even after asking several times about it.They also mixed up our entire tables orders. I love this busy nook. We ordered at the register and they bring your food to the table. Such an incredible ambience, Boho meets trendy hippie vibe. Laid back crowd and I loved the quirky decor. My girlfriend and I came here for Sunday brunch. It wasn't a restaurant style which was what I thought this place was. It's a coffee place with food that is a bit more self-served. Both of us had the eggs benedict and we loved it. Our favourite was actually the hash browns as it wasn't your typical boring hash browns.
