Great location to warm up from the slopes. Kids love the pink donuts, breakfast bagel hits the spot in the mornings.

I've eaten here several times on Christmas Day and other busy holiday nights so I can understand that it's very busy but this is the first time that I felt that they weren't very concerned about the service we received. I can understand if there's an issue and that we need to wait, but we expect to be informed of the issue and not just have to sit and wonder what the problem was or if they even put our order in. When our fixed menu entree eventually came at 7:10 we just got it packed up with our desserts and left since we hadn't planned to just sit and stare at the bar for an extra hour. The owner kinda said something about the server not knowing something across a loud bar but I couldn't really hear and honestly didn't have the patience to hear what seemed like the owner blame shifting. The server was perfect. But I don't understand why we couldn't have been informed about a delay by the owner? He was there the whole time but didn't seem interested in the people eating at his restaurant. We had looked forward to eating out here all week and were quite dissatisfied about the quality of service and sadly can't justify going back. Fixed menu with 4 drinks + tip was more than $300 which seems high based on the low quality of service. Many better newer places on the mountain. Sad to have to branch out.

Tried the beef sausage roll, curried chicken & cheese on focaccia, schnitzel sandwich, and what's now one of my favourite amaretti I've ever had! Everything was so delicious! And I wish I would've gotten the name of the person that helped us out - she was wonderful! Their West K location is just a couple of blocks from me; so, I'm looking forward to swinging by again soon.

Staff going by don't acknowledge the waiting customer. When you place your order they don't give options. Today I ordered two ham & cheese on Focaccia To go! I thought there was a special as the sign said two for $10.50 and they were small. I ordered two from the staff member who had appeared after a few minutes. No questions, she just grabbed two went into the back. Not sure why. Came back with two sandwiches each on a plate in their own paper bag! Rang then up on their fancy card machine and walked away! The amount was $21.00. Another staff member came. I asked the staff member about the sign that said two for $10.50. Was told that was for the small sandwiches which were half the large ones and I got the large ones. End of conversation. No option to get what I wanted. We drove home. Put the paper plates on a dinner plate and sat down to eat. Nice poration of ham & cheese! No lettuce, mustard or cucumber. The bottom half of my sandwich was so soggy I had to throw it out. The focaccia seems like day old. The food has not on average been bakery/cafe quality and lackadaisical service model doesn't encourage me to go back!

I don't blame the staff of the dining hall in the slightest. At the beginning of the year, the food…read morewas pretty decent. Repetitive but decent. After winter semester though... UBC or whomever, cut the dining hall's budget, and we got this. Goop and slop on a plate. I've seen raw chicken and raw pork, rotten veggies, and food still being frozen on the inside. Salad options are kinda limited and as someone with a bunch of sensitive, Pritchard serving fried foods 6 days out of the week was not appreciated. Food highlights: garlic bread, all of the wraps in order of best to worse (chicken bacon ranch, Caesar salad, hot honey, donair). Donair one is fine but gets boring very quickly and kinda flavourless. Least I can eat it. The fresh juice that they brought in sometimes was really tasty. Eggs are pretty good (the fresh ones, not the powdered ones). Ramen is pretty good but got boring. Sushi bowl started strong but idk, quality started to dip in second semester. Food shames: Southwest salad (is it a salad or a chilli, cmon bro), pizza with pineapple (doesn't taste good), butter chicken poutine?? (It's one or the other, didn't taste good combined, wasn't even actual gravy). The powdered eggs? How are they raw and overcooked at the same time. The tostada (was gross). Breakfast bowl is also slop. Again, don't blame the dining hall staff, they had nothing to do with the food quality and are trying their best to make do on a tight budget. Their employer unfortunately fired a bunch of the people in charge and in charge of food quality so... it's to be expected. Also make breakfast longer, nobody wants a pizza at 10:30am.

I am so thankful to not be on the meal plan because when we got three free days I was already sick of it. People complain all the time because despite paying so much you aren't allowed to bring out food and it has limited hours. It has a one week rotation. The breakfast was good at first honestly. Less so now.

No kind hosting convo, which at 5:30 pm shouldn't be too difficult. She handed us a children's colouring sheet menu for our little one but when we realized she wasn't going to bring us crayons we got up to ask for some to be told they've been breaking them In half so they are out. When we ordered a couple of the 'famous fish and chips' it was so disappointing, no seasoning, just a bland fish with a crispy coating. how in the world is this order so popular!? I had to ask for malt vinegar to get some sort of flavour besides the lemon I squeezed on it. We also had ordered the pizza for the table to share and it was so overly chewy and hard with again, no seasoning that the 4 year old couldn't eat it and that was a huge sign that the dinner was an epic failure. It was my choice to come to that restaurant as it was my birthday but we definitely agreed it was a waste of birthday dinner and will not be returning. I spoke to the server and she saw the food left at the table and that we weren't going to stay to even have a birthday dessert (...and I always get dessert when I'm on vacation!) she gave our bill a discount which was helpful bc we still had to go get our little one a meal she would enjoy. If you want a great tasting meal for you and your family, go to Black Diamond, the service was amazing and friendly, they even walked us to our table. The signature ribs were delicious and they even brought out our dessert with a little candle celebrating our daughter's special day. If you have a cold you may enjoy this spot, but if you like flavour, I do not recommend you wasting a reso on this spot.

Not complaining about families, just not something you want to sit beside all the time when there's just two of you. Our server, Madison, was great - attentive, helpful and friendly. We tried the Korean Cauliflower, it was mostly crispy and tasty - recommended . The Patatas Bravas were good - basically a large bowl of roasted fingerling potatoes - they are best when mixed as the tomato sauce at bottom of dish. We tried the daily bread expecting delicious homemade crusty bread - it was corn bread and was ok tasting but lame for the price. None of the food we tried was bad but it wasn't excellent either - we'll be back to try some other menu items. The winner here is dessert and something I would recommend you go here for = the S'mores. They are great. Cook the homemade marshmallows at your table, yes I just said homemade marshmallows - this was the best marshmallow we have ever eaten. Kids love it, adults love it. Go here, you'll love it. It's ridiculous, messy and awesome. Enjoy!
