On some travel website noticed this delicious place I felt great artistic atmosphere with airy white interior and when if a few days visited it from overseas, I sat at their giant panoramic window enjoying yellow Lisbon funiculars while drinking Mill's fresh coffee with pancakes and then juice. It's a great atmospheric and delicious place to visit in Lisbon. Cheers!

Amazing coffee, great food, and super friendly service. The owner's often around and always so kind and welcoming. The vibe is lively but still chill and watching the cable car roll by makes it even better. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Lisbon!

Cute little breakfast spot near many of the many attractions in the center of Lisbon. Opens relatively early. Coffee and food were both tasty. It seems to be filled with mostly tourists and that probably explains the higher prices. Servers were very friendly.

First Impressions: super cute and cozy... would fit right in if it were in Brooklyn or NYC. Clean aesthetic with tasteful decor. Staff was super nice and friendly The Noms: Smoked salmon omelette - salmon was generous and portions were filling. I just wish they put the salmon on top of the omelette so it doesn't get all warmed up from the hot eggs Avocado toast - I can make this way better at home but my sister was craving it. I will say their roasted cherry tomatoes were ever good with a bit of salt and pepper on them B(e)LT - bacon was crisp and portions were generous. I hate when BLTs skimp on the bacon but this spot was good. Pepper jam was really good with the sandwich. Fried egg was just a tad over done and not as much runny yolk as I'd like. Still good tho Banana bread with berries and cream - this was a highlight of the meal. We shared two slices of this and it was the perfect ending to brunch. Not too sweet, the slightly tart berries snd cool cream really made this a top "dessert" experience for me I'm Conclusion: 10/10!" Would recommend. Very filling and satisfying as well. Came on my last morning in Lisbon but would have happily come here for breakfast all the other days I was here if I'd found out about it sooner.

A thoroughly wonderful breakfast. I had this banana bread with mascarpone and berries, my wife had the small chia bowl. We both had great flat whites. Our server was delightful, she took as much time chatting as we wanted. Highly recommended!

Absolutely the best breakfast we had the whole time in Portugal and that included staying at a resort in Algarve. The bacon and egg sandwich was bomb! Very fulfilling, on a fresh bagel and the bacon was crisp and truly hand-cut! Then the flat white coffee was so good that I ordered 2! Going back here again one more time on Tuesday before we leave!

I stayed across the street from The Mill and was mad that I did not visit more often. The Mill is a hip, trendy cafe with a great ambience. I was able to visit twice and really enjoyed it. It does get busy, so you will likely have a wait. The first time, I came in the afternoon, and ordered a cappucino and some toast. I had just arrived from an awful plane ride and was looking forward to relaxing. The cappuccino was great but my toast never arrived. My server eventually said something to me, but at that point, I didn't want it. I returned the next morning and ordered a cappuccino and the blueberry pancakes. Again, a perfect cappuccino and the pancakes (we'd probably think of them more as a Dutch baby) were tasty and filling. I wanted to return to try the avocado toast, but didn't get to. When I return to Lisbon, I will be back here.

Food was fantastic! The blueberry pancakes are the best I have ever had, and my friend thought the Classic brunch was good as well! Service was friendly, ambiance was lively and overall a great experience!

What a first breakfast for us in Lisbon in this nice little coffee shop. We ordered a bunch of things as you can see in the pictures. Everything tasted great. Everything was a bit pricy as it costed us 40+ euro for the breakfast but it was well worth it. Portions were great. So was taste. Not too salty, not too sweet, not too greasy. It was just so healthy and tasty. I can't get over the fact that olive oil tastes so refreshing anywhere I eat here. The guy at that cafe was super nice. He helped with some questions for our trip to Sintra and recommended me to use Bolt instead of Uber.

I've visited a handful of cafes in Lisbon and the Mill was one of my favorites!!! The interior is very clean and has strong Scandinavian vibes. It was relatively full at 2 PM but I was able to quickly get a seat. Foodwise, the banana bread was DIIIIIVINE. I think it was a seasonal special. All the flavors, the maracapone cream, berries, honey, nuts, and banana worked harmoniously! The cherry on top was that IT WAS WARM. I also enjoyed the beautiful, minimalistic cutlery. Who wouldn't like this place? We happened to live briefly five minutes from The Mill. Every morning from 7:30 am people start to queue up outside. Lisboa is one of the most tourist friendly city in Europe. BUT, inside this breakfast place, it is UN in Portugal with crowds from all parts of the world . The servers speak different tongues. The food is fresh beautifully prepared and tasty. People sitting at the communal table say Hi and chatting away. What a lovely way to start your day! A big smile. read more

This spot was recommended to me and so glad I listened! Extremely busy during brunch but they will somehow get you in and feed you... even though the dining area is very small. I was facing the window and there were so many people outside, peering into the restaurant or waiting to be seated. Delicious and fresh food, but portion sizes might be on the smaller side. I also ordered the chocolate espressso banana smoothie (forgetting the official name on the menu) and it was so yummy; give it a try! One last thing - a lot of tourist, like myself, seem to like this place too, and it is totally ok to bring in your huge suitcases. My friend and I went here to eat and kill time after we landed in Lisbon (our Airbnb host couldnt let us until a certain time and we arrived very early in the morning). I was nervous that the staff would kick us out given how busy this place was but not one of the staff members asked us to leave. So, so sweet in our time of need! read more

Very nice service and the staff are very friendly. Different from American cafe, you pay after you have the coffee. Located in a very nice district though might be hard to find. Google map said not far away but it involves a lot of "hiking" to get there. If you are used to divine coffee, the coffee provided here is impressive and two times better than Starbucks, though still a bit burnt in my opinion. read more

Delicious! We ordered the stack, blueberry pancakes, matcha smoothie, and latte. Got there just before noon on a weekday and was seated immediately at a table for 2. We were expecting to wait so that was a nice surprise. Simple, minimalist vibe inside, nothing fancy and definitely filled with tourists, but don't let that stop you. I docked one star because while service was pleasant, our food took 45mins to be served (but tables around us were served very quickly), they got one of orders wrong and then had to remake it, then tried to charge an incorrect price. It was an honest mistake so I can overlook the bill, but waiting 45mins for brunch food was really annoying (and no apology for the delay). read more

We went here for breakfast and left very disappointed. The service was terrible - customers are treated as cattle. The food was very overpriced. For 10 euros I received a piece of bread with egg on it. The banana-berry smoothie was warm and without much flavor. In short, if you want a good breakfast experience - do not go here :) read more

Iced coffee? Fantastic. Overall environment? Couldn't have been better. Service? Attentive and timely. This place would absolutely have been five stars if it wasn't for one minor detail. The bacon (while appearing normal at first glance) had weird pieces of what appeared to hard cartilage/bone in it. I almost broke my tooth on it and was so disgusted I had to spit it into my napkin. Honestly, I just want an explanation of what it possibly could have been. A warning that there are pieces of bone in the bacon would've been appreciated. There was ~20 min wait but so worth it! It was a small cute venue. The cappuccino here was delish!! Avocado toast was so yummy! Girl providing service was so nice and friendly. Seems like a lot of regulars and locals come here too. Sadly came here on my last day in Lisbon so I was not able to go back again. read more

Great wifi. Good eggs and avocado. Outlets in the middle of the table and on the walls. Soft indie music. Impromptu tableside wine tasting when I was indecisive. Smooth transition from daytime coffees (with latte art) to wine and complimentary olives. I mean, I should live here. read more

Their menu is rather short, just about 4 options, but all sound delicious, with not just basic fruits, but shots of ginger, and herbs like rosemary and basil. There is a sign saying that they don't use any plastic or electricity. Their cups and straws are made with rice flour. They juice the lemon and orange on a squeezer. But they surely would need to use electricity to run the blender, right? Nope. They put the ingredients into a blender jar and ask if we want to hope on to the stationary bike and do a bit spinning. Yes! You have to pedal to move the motor that runs the blender!! I suppose the faster you spin the smoother your drink will be. Can't think of a way to make a greener juice!! Totally lovely idea. Not sure if the wait will be awful on a busy day, but it was a fun experience, and at €5 a glass not a bad deal (at least not for Americans).

My favorite thing about how they do it in Portugal is the emphasis on fresh-tasting, quality ingredients and natural fruit juices with generally smaller portions, rather than the massive food-coma-inducing servings that you'll find at many American brunch spots. My search for yet another delicious Lisbon brunch led me to Fauna & Flora, which caught my eye with its aesthetically pleasing menu featuring kataifi "nests", acai/smoothie bowls and unique fruit juice blends. Everything we ended up ordering was as delicious as it looked and sounded on the menu, from the Tropicália pancakes (a light yet indulgent stack layered with coconut and mango cream, topped with a pineapple confit, mint, lemon and coconut flakes) to the intricate Salmon nests (baked avocado with smoked salmon, cucumber pickle set and a perfectly sous vided egg on top over the crunchy kataifi nest for an elaborate and flavorful mix of textures). Between my bf and I, we also ended up ordering three of their natural fruit juices to try the inventive combos (watermelon and mango, acai with goji, banana and berries, etc), which were all delightfully refreshing~ Although it was a bit of a detour from our sightseeing path, Fauna & Flora is definitely worth a visit -- especially for vegan or gluten free diners who will find no shortage of delicious options on their breakfast and lunch menus. I tried the crepe that has banana and chocolate, and my mom had the Marsha both times (has apple, date syrup, and a crumble). My second time there I had the breakfast crepe that has tofu scramble, mushrooms, vegan cheese, and more. It was delicious! The vegan cheese they use is sooo good! I also had a juice on the last day that had beet and I think maybe the other two ingredients were orange and carrot. I don't remember exactly but I know I loved it. The next time I'm in Lisbon, I am definitely coming back to Sama Sama for another crepe and juice! P.S. The people who work there are also very nice! Both times we went, they were smiley and kind to us!

I usually avoid falafel (it's ubiquitous) but was persuaded after being offered some of my husband's and got my own; it was mind-blowing. Their business card says they have "the best falafel in the world", and I believe it. We stayed and sampled loads of the other food on offer (all really excellent) and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommended.

We waited an exorbitant amount of time for our food, and while the presentation was cute, the food was tasteless. I asked for a side of the granola just to have something to eat. The ambiance is cute, but unfortunately that's all I give it.
