Cafe Americano, blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, and avocado
    Natalie M.

Cotidiano is a cute cafe near Praça do Comércio, perfect for breakfast or brunch. I had blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, and a side of ripe avocado. The pancakes were fluffy and infused with the great taste of blueberries. The creamy eggs and side of avocado were the perfect complement for a filling meal. My café Americano was excellent. Service was pleasant and the prices were reasonable. I'd definitely return.

Exceptional food and service, very reasonably priced as compared to tourist oriented places a few blocks away towards Rua Augusta. Everything is fresh and made on site.

Had a delicious breakfast burrito here! Small little restaurant on a corner. Their service was really good and the breakfast burrito was delicious!

This place was delicious with several traditional brunch options to choose from. Drinks are also great. The place is small and fills up quick so get there early. We had blueberry pancakes, granola bowl, croissant sandwich and bottomless mimosas. If my stay in Lisbon wasn't so short I'd come back. We original were up the street to go to Dear Breakfast but chose this instead. Glad we did!

    Shakshuka & burrito

We were starving - so when we spotted this place from the street we were siked. I have a lot of compliments for Cotidiano - friendly service, gluten-free options, great drinks, such a good deal for the €. One of the best parts of all was the 5€ bellini! If we weren't totally wiped out from our flight earlier that morning, we would've gone with the bottomless option for just 10€. That's such a great deal. I had the shakshuka for just 8€ - & it came with gluten free nut bread. SO good. Great ambience inside. The music was amazing. It was a indie-soul type mix that worked so well for the space. Loved the funky lamps (although hanging a little too low) & the rest of the interior decor. 5/5 for sure.

We ate here 3 times while in Lisbon. The food is fresh and tasty! I had the mini chicken burgers all 3 times. Delicious. My husband ordered an egg dish. I see they have bottomless mimosas, wish I knew that earlier. Very intimate space, a leisurely pace so don't expect to get in and out quickly.

'Eggs on Toast' menu item -- I chose poached option.

This place was lovely, all away around. From the cozy cute decor to the friendly staff to the delicious food. Such a perfect spot right near the Baixa-Chiado subway stop for a coffee and little brunch! I had a a cappuccino and a "eggs on toast" that comes with some bacon and with a small side salad all for under 15€. Free/available WiFi also. Will definitely be returning!

This place was amazing! Every single dish we had was great. Service was great and it's a cute environment.

Delicious food and friendly service! Expect a short wait to be seated but it moves quickly. It is a small, lively café that is loved by locals and tourists alike!

Very friendly service and was happy that we were sat immediately being a big group of 6 with a baby. Coffee, matcha latte, and food were all good. Had the breakfast burrito and absolutely loved it! Place is cozy. Will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is so cute, the staff were all wonderful & you could tell they enjoyed their jobs! The food was 10/10 and I felt like it was all reasonably priced.

    Americano and cappuccino

Welcoming restaurant with beautiful presentation when it comes to the food. We wanted an açaí since açaí came from Brazil originally and we figured Portugal would've immediately imported/had that here. Especially after being in Spain, we wanted something refreshing. Americano and cappuccino was pretty good. The granola bowl and açaí were good as well. The reason why I rated it four stars was because after the first few bites of my granola bowl, it kind of lost flavor/got dull. But the first few bites were delicious. I wish they added a bit more peanut butter or honey to keep the flavor going. But aside from that, great! And quick service!

Definitely eat here. Food, service, atmosphere, all on point. Can be busy, but the wait wasn't too long and still worth it. Plus free high speed WiFi.

You can really taste the quality of the coffee beans. I was especially excited because iced coffee, especially flavored iced coffee, hasn't been as common while traveling around Portugal, so this was a major win for me. For food, we ordered the Crispy Daddy sandwich and an omelette. The Crispy Daddy was SO good with fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and so much flavor in the guacamole. Definitely a standout! We ordered the omelette the normal way, which is slightly runny but not really runny, and it was light, delicious, and paired perfectly with the bread. And honestly, bread in Portugal is superior The bread here had the perfect crunch and was delicious with the omelette. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd happily come back to!

Worth Going Out Of Your Way…read more.... On our annual vacation, my wife and I were fortunate enough to get a reservation for 3 nights at the Santiago de Alfama hotel. Audrey's is their primary restaurant and we sampled 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: - In keeping with the hotel, everything is beautiful in a subtle manner. Call it "down-to-earth elegance". - Breakfast: The a la carte menu offered some of the best breakfast foods we've ever had. Examples: Fresh granola and berries with Greek yogurt. THE BEST EVER! Home baked breads and pastries. Orange juice that's pure and not too sweet. Bagel and lox to please the purists. Service was provided by a trio of very friendly, attentive and helpful young women. - Lunch: We ate on the patio in front of the hotel. I had a super tasty vegetarian Thai dish while my wife had a big salad. They were accompanied by the best Sangria in ages. Sweet, but not too much. - Dinner: The dining room is very attractive yet understated like the hotel. Comfortably modern European. Food was impeccable. Tomato salad was large and amazing. My wife's dish focusing on baked cod was large and filling. My polenta with mushroom ragu was immense and full of flavor. Breads are baked daily and almost as good as dessert. Speaking of dessert, mine was a fantastic chocolate mousse while my wife had fresh berries with a massive amount of the best homemade whipped cream. Wine was a local Chardonnay - an excellent choice - for a reasonable $30. - Prices for such a Michelin star experience are considerably lower than you'd expect in the US. Con: - While the food at dinner was fantastic, service was perfunctory. Our server, a pleasant young woman, covered the basics...but nothing more. During our 90 minute meal, she NEVER asked "how are you doing?" Can I get you anything?" We ordered a bottle of wine, but NOT ONCE did she offer to refill our glasses. She didn't speak an unrequired word. The man seemingly managing the room barely acknowledged us. The guy clearing dishes was the ONLY ONE to ask if we wanted coffee or tea. The restaurant was nearly empty. Did we not spend enough? Did we do something wrong? What a way to put a damper on a glorious meal. However, as well-behaved Americans, we left a 15% tip. The next day, we spoke with Martim Neves Carneiro from Guest Relations who was very receptive to our information. He said "they are part of a new nighttime crew and will need remedial help". How very true. Despite those hesitations, Audrey's certainly deserves 5 stars.
