Located in a beautiful part of Lisboa that's around the corner from one of the better souvenir markets in the area & just a few minutes ride on the tram from their "city center". The inside of Augusto is very picturesque, but it is SMALL. If you're picky about seating placement, then be sure to arrive right when they open or after 12pm during the week. It's also pretty chilly as they have fans constantly going, so prepare for that. Food wise, everything was fresh & delicious. We had a great experience here! There was a small line at 9:30 on a Tuesday, we probably waited about 20 minutes. They have a 19.5 euro brunch special with coffee, toast, and fruit. We opted for the coffee toffee latte and peanut butter lattes which were fantastic. They had so much flavor to them! I had the avocado toast and my boyfriend got the ham toast. I loved mine but would probably get the ham toast next time. It was covered in a delicious tomato-y sauce. They play American music, and give water without asking. Amazing Brunch spot in the Graças district in Lisboa. The food is amazing & the service is excellent, also you cannot beat the prices the brunch option is a great deal & will ensure you stay full all afternoon. My favorite was the vegan toast, such good flavor & seasoning & very filling, stacked with veggies it's the perfect brunch meal. Extremely cute location in a very touristy part of Lisbon. I walked past this location a couple of times in my month in Lisbon and there was pretty much always a long line for this location. So if you really want to go, I'd recommend going early or sometime in the middle of the week instead of a weekend. The brunch deal is excellent: I had a delicious ham toast (though the ham is more prosciutto like), the tropical treat and some orange juice and tea. The toast was excellent: the tomato and garlic sauce was creamy, rich and perfectly compliments the ham, toast and eggs. It was delicious and filling. The accompaniments were also excellent. We found this great spot after riding the trolley up to this area of Lisbon. We followed our map for a short walk and the location was on a quiet street. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The menu is small but on point for what we were seeking. My wife and I started with a nice Brazilian detox drink. Home made, not sweet and perfect! We had the meat and cheese tray, a salad with a side of cod and a cod salad. Simply delicious, and one of the best meals so far in Lisbon. The restaurant is small and tastefully decorated. This brunch spot is a must visit when in Lisbon. Not only is the restaurant adorable, but the food is incredible. Be ready to wait in a line outside, but don't let that scare you. It's worth it. I recommend lining up before they open. We got there 30 mins after opening and there was already a long line. Theres indoor seating only but quite a lot of tables. I got the ham toast. It was phenomenal. The tomato-ey sauce was the perfect touch. I also split the homemade banana bread with my dad. We agreed it was the best banana bread we have ever had. I don't know why, but the moment I stepped into this restaurant I felt like I was transported to California somewhere. Maybe it was the hot pink tiled floors, or the large table of American ladies brunching, but I was suddenly not in Portugal anymore. We were seated at a lovely little table facing the street, so we could people watch as we enjoyed our lunch. Their lunch menu is on the lighter side, with different bowls and toasts to choose from. I had the Big Hug, which is warm porridge with apple, pear, banana, honey and dark chocolate. As I was starting to feel under the weather, this was perfect for what I was looking for. This place came up every time I would search up places to go on IG and Tik tok and it didn't not disappoint! I got there around 11:45 am and there was a line. I waited about 30 minutes which I didn't think was bad at all. They have a brunch special for about 20 euros which includes choice of juice, choice of coffee drink, your main dish which was a choice of toast and dessert. I got the avocado toast and it was the best avocado toast I ever had. Everything was so fresh. I was getting full and wanted to make room for the banana bread which everyone also raves about and again, did not disappoint. It was so good. Bustling brunch place in Alfama- friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. Definitely priced and decorated to cater to tourist, but you can't go wrong if you're craving something on toast and a nice latte. I actually returned multiple times because they make a wonderful golden milk latte (totally vegan if you ask for oat milk). It's a nice spot to unwind and journal, if you're into that while traveling. Even though there was a queue waiting for a table, I did not feel rushed at all to vacate my table even though I was just sitting there enjoying a book. This place was SO good and had immaculate vibes from the decor, service, taste, and presentation. I was visiting Lisbon, but if I lived here, I would come here every weekend for brunch :) It's also been a month and I still think about this place. I would highly recommend the ham toast - this is like an elevated avocado toast with Portuguese ham (similar to prosciutto but thicker and chewier), cottage cheese, and the most delicious homemade tomato and garlic sauce (I would buy this on it's own if I could). I also got the vitaminas strawberry orange mint juice, which was SO delicious and fresh. Honestly, the juices anywhere in Portugal were so fresh I was impressed. Aside from the food, the service was incredible and the interior was exactly how I imagine the perfect brunch spot to be with lots of plants and pastel colors in a cute alleyway. Lisbon has many cute cafes and brunch spots that I want to check out and one of the closest one to us in Alfama was Augusto Lisboa. We went for breakfast on a Monday, a little after they just opened. It was the perfect timing as most seats were already taken and shortly after, a line already formed outside. My fiance and I both got the ham toast as it looked amazing! Sourdough with ham, poached egg, and burrata, with a garlicky tomato sauce. I loved this toast so much! The dressing could get a little overwhelming but not a dealbreaker. I also got the iced latte with an orange wedge which is one of their most popular drinks. I didn't realize the significance of the orange until my drink was halfway done and the flavor already melded with the coffee. It was subtle yet refreshing! read more

My absolute FAVORITE brunch spot in Lisbon! The vibes, the food, the cinnamon flavored water - it's all immaculate. I got the small tasting board and sampled the most delicious sourdough bread I've ever had. I also got a small tropical treat which was surprisingly super refreshing without being too sweet. Cute little spot in Lisboa with a trendy aesthetic. This place seems to be very seeked out, there was a wait but it was worth it. Make sure to have your negative COVID results or your vaccine card on hand. I was seated on the platform by myself and felt like the queen at brunch lol. Hands down eat here. Out of all places I've ever had avocado toast, Augusto Lisboa comes out on top. The house made cream cheese, fluffy egg, and random (but tasty) carrot make this toast incredible. It's a two piece dish and super easy to share! If you're here, I'd recommend getting the brunch special (coffee, juice, toast, bowl or banana bread). It's a lot of food and easily shareable.
