Surprised my husband with Father's Day brunch while in Lisbon. The coffee was excellent and the food was delicious. They have a pretty large patio outside with QR codes at the table to order. They bring the food out to you. The service was a little on the slow side, but it's because they are very busy and the food was fresh. If you find my review or photos helpful, please like them!

    Ham & cheese

We were walking around and found this place for breakfast. The place is spacious with plenty of seating available. They have coffee, juices, sandwiches and pastries. We ordered the ham & cheese, and chorizo & cheese sandwiches. My friends ordered coffee and I got a passion fruit & pineapple juice. The juice was made fresh and tasted delicious, not overly sweet. I really liked the ham & cheese sandwich more than the chorizo one but both were good and made with some delicious bread. I couldn't resist and ordered the salted chocolate brownie, this brownie was soo gold. The service was very attentive. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area.

Loved this location. It became our refuge for snacks (croissants, pastries and sandwiches) and coffee during the crazy power outage and the coffee is actually extremely good. Did an iced oat latte. It's a little on the pricier side but done really well. Also very spacious for spending more time if needed.

Amazing service, food and drinks! As we were visting Lisbon for the first time, we found this café conveniently located directly outside of our AirB&B. As soon as we arrived we went straight in to grab a snack to fill us up after our long flight from Texas. We were delightfully surprised by the price aswell as the quality of the food. We ended up visiting quite a few times throughout the trip and loved it even more each time. As for the atmosphere, it was a very pleasant and laid back area with a lovely ambiance for a very earthy and modern feel. If you're planning to visit Lisbon I definitely recommend coming here to experience the lovely service, wonderful food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Great cold brew! Very nice people and cool spot next to all the action. Great spot for coffee and food. Must try the pastries! Good Vegan Treats!

This spot caught my eye as we were walking out of our accommodation the first morning. Right across the street was this wonderful breakfast spot. It was so good, we visited all 3 mornings before starting our day. In the heart of the Chaido area, this was definitely the best we've found for a.m. eats. You walk up and order and pickup drinks when ready at the side counter, with food delivered to your table if dining in. The hardest part was deciding what to order. Luckily in 3 visits, I was able to try many different items. The Chai latte with oat milk was amazing! The green juice, very very good and filling. The pastries were so soft and fluffy, flavorful and really just perfect. For a true breakfast, the croissant with scrambled eggs and salmon was scrumptious, and it was the open faced breakfast option with an egg, mashed avocado, and spinach served on rye which sold me on this spot. Service was great and they even provided a punch card. Didn't quite get to a free drink yet, but hoping to return soon to this area. The prices are fantastic for what's provided. A reasonable .30 Euro for oat milk was charged. Everything was fresh and delicious.

We saw this spot the night we arrived into Lisbon, so we decided to try it out for breakfast with the kids in the morning. First off, the staff are very friendly! They're quick and efficient as well. In terms of ambiance, it's a really cool space, with a blend of old & new architecture. I'm no fan of artificial plants, but the way this place uses it really creates a nice, pleasant space. For the coffee and pastries, simply amazing! The cappuccino was perfection, like being in Italy or Australia and the Cinnamon Cream Roll was great, so great that one of my sons stole it from me after he ate his Pain au Chocolat. My wife enjoyed her Double Espresso and the Green Juice while the boys had Blueberry Smoothies. I enjoyed my Cappuccino and the space I was surrounded by... This place is kid-friendly and offers a lot of great options for food, whether you prefer sweet or savory.

Listen if yours cinnamon bun lover please come and get this bun, I guarantee you you're gonna fall in love and never want to get yourself a bun from Cinnabon. Bold statement, yes but I am serious , it is sticky, cinnamon goodness with every bite. The coffee is probably the best coffee I'd had in Lisbon. Ordered an ice latte with oat milk, an americano , raspberry bun ( can't speak on it but my partner said it is as good as the cinnamon buns but tartier because it's a raspberry bun) . The place is chill, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Recommend for sure !

Great service! Super nice and they even remade my coffee because it was suppose to be for to go and originally they made it for sit in. Great coffee! Very strong and intense with flavor.

10/10. Once I discovered this spot, you better believe I was getting it every morning. Thankfully for me it was a short walk from the Airbnb. The coffee was great, the food was good and the ambiance was pleasant. We are getting ripped off in the US. If you saw how much food I got for $20 for two people you would be pissed. I believe they have some locations in other countries - so I hope we will meet again :)

    Avocado mash with egg

This is a very large, open and trendy coffee shop. Everyone here is on their laptops! The free WiFi and cool hangout spot make it desirable. I had gotten sandwiches take away on two occasions and also ate there. The avocado mash with egg was very fresh and delicious. The sandwiches are pre-made in the display case but are very fresh and the bread is really good. A little pricey compared to a traditional local cafe but its good and easy.

A sign that says no computers. Don't come here to work.

This cafe was in the result for cafes to work at after searching Yelp. However, upon sitting down we were told no laptops. This should be removed from "cafes to work at" results. And I definitely do not recommend this coffee shop.

Best coffee I ever had. Service was excellent. Food was very good. They are located near the Santa Justa elevator. You can eat outside or inside the restaurant.

Flat white, scrambled eggs, salmon sandwich and pastries.

What makes it special is watching the pastries being handmade right in front of you, which adds a level of freshness and craftsmanship that you can actually taste. The service was super fast and friendly. The pastel de nata came out perfectly, with that delicate flaky crust and warm custard that just hits differently when you know it was made moments ago. The espresso was equally impressive, rich and smooth, and the two together make for a simple but near perfect combination. The crust was super flaky and the tart was nice and warm out of the oven, but I didn't like the flavor of the custard. I did forget to add cinnamon to the top, but I don't think it would have helped me personally. I loved the patience of the server, who got confused when I told her I wanted to eat in but wanted to take water to go. Note to self...Portuguese folks want to have their "to go" as "takeaway." What I also didn't know was that there was no place to sit!! I scooted down the counter just like all the other folks to watch the bakers prep the next gozillion pastries for the day. That was interesting. Then, I didn't know how to bus my dishes. I just left them on the counter like all the other folks and went away. I wouldn't skip going because of my personal taste buds, though. Enjoy it for yourself and let me know if you have a different opinion than I did!

I had been here about fifteen years ago on a solo trip when I waited in an endless queue for a takeout order. That same line still existed a couple of weeks ago when Jamie W and I visited on my return to Lisbon. This time, we decided to try the dine-in option which I wasn't even aware of until I saw a YouTube video from a travel vlogger who recommended it. Sure enough, the line was a lot shorter and moved quite a bit faster. It turned out they serve up to 400 people in an expansive dining room. The menu goes beyond the pastels and offers croquettes, salt cod fritters, various sandwiches, and other pastries. Of course we ordered the 1,6€ Pasteis de Belem. Four of them (Photo 6). Based on a secret recipe dating back to 1837, they compare favorably to the multitude of competitors, even Manteigaria, whose shops appear almost everywhere in Lisbon. The custard filling is creamy but not excessive and it's not overly sweetened. The standout is the thick and flaky crust, tender with a touch of salt. The 2€ Iced Coffees with Milk was a nice complement. Since we didn't have time to get lunch while sauntering through Belem, we decided to take advantage of their cafe menu and each ordered the 3,9€ Tuna and Mayo with Boiled Egg and Lettuce on Mixed Wheat Toast (Photo 9). I know it sounds simple, but it satisfied much like the kombini sandos in Tokyo. Totally worthy of my 8,000 milestone.
