A bit of a wait when we arrived at 12pm. It did clear out after that. I'd suggest a 1pm arrival. Food was great. I dont know why they put seeds in everything but the eggs were tasty. The coffee wasn't strong only complaint. You get a good meal with the full breakfast deal. Cute spot love the wall decor .
First meal in Lisbon did not disappoint. This is a relative hole in the wall restaurant that was located right by our hotel. I ordered the octopus Benedict, which is clearly the strangest thing on the menu. After reading about how much Lisbon adores their seafood I was too intrigued to not order something of this nature. If you do not think this would work, you'd be wrong. It was delicious. The place was packed and the service was good. If you're ever in the area I could not recommend this place enough.
Very nice place for breakfast, not cheap, but definitely worth it. Everything is made fresh . They have great variety of breakfast options. Egg Benedict's are our favorite, and the make them on a very fresh tasty croissant . Omelettes are also good, pancakes are amazing as well.
We made reservations for 3 (Tuesday 8:30). When we arrived, about half of the tables were filled, but by the time we were done with our meal, all tables were taken. The Florentin Benedict and the Breakfast Menu were both solid hits with my daughters. I unfortunately had the omelet which was not very good. It was dry, and the ham was sandwiched between scrambled eggs vs mixed in with the eggs. The toast was lightly buttered and the salad side was delicious. Loved my vanilla latte. Service was quick and prompt.
The food was a good deal, a orange juice, coffee and a meal of 17 euros. The portion was pretty big and the food was wonderful. The decor of the restaurant fits the Lisbon vibe so well, the tiles are so beautiful. Our service was calming and sweet!

Restaurant is decorated with Portugal tiles and plates. Service was fast and all of the food came out made to order. Prices are reasonable and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. This was a great way to start our day trip in Lisbon!
An excellent brunch option if you're staying in the Alfalma area! Situated a few steps and staircase down from the Lisbon Cathedral, this is the ideal spot to fuel up before a full day of sightseeing. We got the Pulvo (Octopus) Benedict and the Earth Sea Sky Toast, both of which were delicious -- even as someone who's not typically a big brunch person, I licked my plate clean. The octopus benedict included a generous helping of tender, meaty tentacles with an accompanying tangy sauce on the side, while the Earth Sea Sky Toast featured a medley of ingredients including cream cheese on sourdough with pickled veggies, a poached egg, lox and avo spread for a tasty blend of textures and flavors. In addition to numerous coffee options, they also have a variety of freshly pressed juices-- we got the Raddish, which was a blend of carrot, beet and ginger, super refreshing! I also got the latte which was good but kinda wished I had sampled another fresh fruit juice instead. I've read numerous reviews about long waits but we arrived around 9am on a weekday with no line or wait whatsoever so I imagine the volume picks up on weekends and perhaps mid-day. Service was friendly and efficient and there are also clean bathrooms available. Highly recommend Breakfast Lovers if you wish to sample the Lisbon brunch scene -- the food is certainly as yummy as it is Instagrammable (:
Great place to start the day. It was pretty empty when they first opened but started to fill up as the morning went on. The pancakes were fluffy and coated in toppings. The juices were fresh, and the eggs came with a refreshing salad. I'd recommend if you are looking for a solid breakfast
We stopped by here on our first day in Lisbon and the food was great! We were able to walk in without a reservation and the food came within 15 minutes. The Eggs Benedicts were cooked perfectly and the prices are fair. Definitely recommend it!

There werent that many people working so service was a little slow and they ran out of something we ordered so they gave us some pancakes on the house which was very nice! Visited 6/11/25. Breakfast Lovers is a delight and I would definitely recommend if you are in Lisbon! My mom and I split the breakfast combo which included a hot coffee drink, a cold coffee drink, a mini açaí bowl, a savory breakfast item (avocado toast or a Benedict), and a dessert (we got a mini stack of the caramel pancakes). This special was perfect for the both of us and we thoroughly enjoyed everything that we ate. My sister got an avocado toast which she loved as well. It does get slightly busier here so get there earlier as needed.

Came here for brunch with my husband and absolutely loved it! The aesthetic is beautiful, with gorgeous tile, decorative plates on the walls, and cute hanging lights throughout the space. We ordered two iced caramel lattes and WOW, they were amazing! You can really taste the quality of the coffee beans. I was especially excited because iced coffee, especially flavored iced coffee, hasn't been as common while traveling around Portugal, so this was a major win for me. For food, we ordered the Crispy Daddy sandwich and an omelette. The Crispy Daddy was SO good with fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and so much flavor in the guacamole. Definitely a standout! We ordered the omelette the normal way, which is slightly runny but not really runny, and it was light, delicious, and paired perfectly with the bread. And honestly, bread in Portugal is superior The bread here had the perfect crunch and was delicious with the omelette. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd happily come back to! read more
I got come visit this place with my best friend and we loved it . So accommodating, they let us sit outside when a free table became available. I loved that they remember I asked.. we got the Benedicts and caramel fluffy mini pancake stack . The mango and strawberry matcha to die for . Will be back when I visit Lisbon again read more

Honestly, I started out with 4 out of 5 stars. Food was tasty. They charge for tap water. Poor WiFi signal when you sit inside. Dropped to 2 stars for the expense and they force you to use cash saying we prefer cash but not giving you any options to use your card. I will not return and do not recommend a visit. read more

If you are looking for a fantastic stop in Lisbon for breakfast (food), look no further. In this charming eatery, you can expect bustle, big portions, and excellent service. Breakfast Lovers has it dialed in. If you think of it, make a reservation, if you don't, like us, plan to wait a bit. We thankfully showed earlier so our wait was minimal. If you show much past 8:30/9 (as a guess) there will be a huge line. You will be sitting close to your fellow Breakfast Lovers as the restaurant is very small but have no fear, it is all part of the experience. Tips: Menus are electronic so make sure someone in your group has a working phone. They prefer cash and while they can take cards, just know, they will ask for cash first. Food: we wished we shared a dish or two between the three of us. Serving size was massive but I wasn't willing to waste my food so I made it work aka, absolutely over ate. Glad I didn't waste one drip of my delicious breakfast though. Fun place! Put this on your list. read more
Had King Benedict and it is amazing! The best breakfast I have ever had. Every single ingredient is well prepared and cooked. Perfect porched egg and savory salmon. Coffee is also great. The dine in experience is great too. It is a popular restaurant so you probably need to get there a little early to grab a seat. The speed of serving is fast. Love the plate decorations. This place is so so adorable and the food was amazing!! It does get very busy there so just be ready to either wait for a table or be a bit squished. We did the build your own and it was delicious. Adorable little cafe that, true to its name, serves up some of the best breakfast and brunch food in Lisbon. I happened across Breakfast Lovers when I was wandering about Lisbon and happened to be feeling a bit peckish just as I saw a super crowded little cafe. Curious what all the hype was about, I popped my head into Breakfast Lovers, and immediately saw why -- the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous, with cute pastel wallpaper and vintage china dotting the walls. The elegant white marble tables were delicately decorated with flowers and candles, and the entire shop just felt so cozy and cute, almost like I was paying a visit to my grandmother. As I looked around, the plates looked equally cute and even more delicious; Breakfast Lovers has a wide selection of benedicts, toasts, smoothie bowls, and pastries, all of which are plated up in the most gorgeous way possible. Their portions are also quite large, so I would recommend getting a couple of things to share. My mom and I ended up splitting a mini acai bowl, latte, and one of their signature toasts. The acai bowl was beautiful, with a variety of fruits (including banana, apple, honeydew, grapes, and mixed berries), and I loved the extra crunch I got from the granola and coconut flakes. It was a little bit watery and a bit lacking in acai, but the fruit was fresh and the presentation lovely. The latte also had some of the most beautiful latte art, and I was grateful that Breakfast Lovers had oat milk (one of the few shops in Lisbon that offer non-dairy milks). The true star of the show was our third item, the earth, sea, and sky toast. It includes two thick, hearty slices of bread topped with smoked salmon, cream cheese, avocado mash, pickled onions, tomato, and a perfectly poached egg. It was such a delightful combo of textures and flavors; the cream cheese and pickled onions offered a great tanginess that helped to cut through the richness of the smoked salmon and avocado mash, and the crusty bread was the perfect base to carry all of these soft, mushy ingredients and sop up the leftover yolk that ran out from the poached egg. The tomato and occasional sprigs of lettuce offered a great hit of freshness to balance out how rich and heavy the overall dish is...truly, if you're hoping for a toast that captures all the classic elements, Breakfast Lovers has you covered. read more

One morning on our trip to Lisbon, Portugal, we decided to stop by breakfast lovers for our morning meal. We surprisingly found it to be one of the BEST places we ate at on the trip! The omelette was the favorite for our group, but we also tried the benny benedict and a few other meals. Other than the food being absolutely incredible, the service was outstanding and we really felt connected to our waitress! They also provide free wifi, and 5 euro bag drop off for any travelers that want to be hands-free while exploring the town. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very warm and inviting, and had a very old fashioned feel to it. Overall this is very high rated on my restaurants in Lisbon, and I recommend that you stop by to try it whenever you're around. read more

This was my first meal in Lisbon and it was a STRONG start. The restaurant is tucked way a bit below street level, but not hard to find if you're looking for it. It's very charming inside but I chose to sit outside since it was a nice day, and there was plenty of seating available when I got there (sounds like there's usually a wait though). The menu has really great options but I went straight to the octopus eggs benedict without hesitation. It was absolutely delicious, the octopus tender and seasoned to perfection. I thought I wouldn't be able to finish everything because I wasn't too hungry, but I cleaned my plate. HIGHLY recommend this spot for breakfast! read more

Delicious! Visiting from the states and we stopped here for breakfast. I had the classic Benedict, guacamole Benedict, and Avo lovers toast. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted even better! We ordered some coffees (cappuccino and mocha) and they werte very good. Service was friendly and pretty quick. Next time I'm in Lisbon I'll definitely come back here! read more

the breakfast foods here are delicious. the interior is decorated nicely with pretty plates covering the walls. the staff is also quite friendly. my only complaint would be the matcha did not have a strong matcha flavor. read more

Absolutely amazing!!!! Best for small groups (4 max). But this place has fantastic food. It's very busy. We made a reservation a week before, and we're seated within about 15 minutes. There is often a line out the door. Delicious eggs Benedict's, gluten free bread and vegetarian dishes as well. read more
Really lovely, bougie breakfast place, with an American-breakfast format that seems to be trendy these days here. My friend had the pancakes and loved them. There was a special Autumn dish that was laden with vegetables, which I really appreciated, after eating so much, mostly-fried meat+potato dishes. Overall, the preparation is lovely, and as an American, can confirm that they've got the hipster/bougie/avocado-toast style of breakfast down pretty well, in terms of both the food and the decor. We were riding tram 28 and saw a huge line outside this breakfast joint so we decided to stop by on our way back and we're so glad that we did!! Everything was exceptional, just not the wait but that's ok. Service was friendly and everything tasted fresh. Breakfast lovers and Dear Breakfast were our favorite breakfast spots during our trip. The latte here was our favorite coffee of our whole trip. read more
