    pistachio pancakes and roasted potatoes
    Alicia G.

very, very cute place that is walking distance to many tourist attractions. my friends and I ordered a variety of things. Now I'm not a big breakfast person but I was looking forward to some yummy pancakes and potatoes so that's what I got Let me say presentation is amazing. The food looked really good. but.... I don't know if it's the entire city or country, but this dish, along with most of the food I had this trip was flavorless, bland. The pancakes were fluffy but dry. we had to ask for syrup, which did nothing to help with the flavorless stack on front of us. The potatoes were ok, but I def wouldn't wait in line for this.

We loved it! We were in need of a breakfast with eggs and Dear Breakfast did not disappoint. We waited in line outside for about 20 minutes before we were seated inside. As we had studied the menu beforehand, we knew what we were going to have so when the waiter came by, we ordered our drinks and our breakfast. We had: - Flat White Coffee - Americano Coffee - Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice - Pistachio Croissant - Omelet with Sourdough Toast The entire breakfast was excellent. All hot food and drinks served hot as well. We would eat here again and can recommend it to others.

Dear Breakfast is a gorgeous place. A quick tip for first-timers: if you're sitting outside, it's self-service, so you can go straight in, order, and then grab your seat. We didn't realize that and ended up waiting quite a while by the "wait to be seated" sign. Once we got inside, service was veryyyyyy slow, even by the more relaxed European standards. When the food finally arrived, it was unfortunately cold. That said, the flavors were excellent. The egg sandwich was Delicious. The classic Benedict also a hit. Just wish it had all come out hot! Overall, the ambiance is beautiful, the food is really solid, but the service needs work.

Dear Breakfast is such a cute place for breakfast. We visited the one in Lisbon and I can't wait to go back there next time we visit. I ordered eggs, Potatoes and bacon with a fruit salad and tea. Everything was amazing!

Little bit of a wait with no reservations for our table of six. But, they did a good job seating us close together when tables freed up. Everyone enjoyed their food and coffee contributing to a delightful breakfast experience. Recommended for your visit to Lisbon.

While in Lisbon we had to check this place out for breakfast. We waited about 30 mins which wasn't too bad. Once seated we ordered our drinks and food and it was all so lovely. Waiters were so nice and spoke: English, Spanish and of course Portuguese! Loved the ambiance service and the music!

The foood was incredible! If you're searching for a light breakfast, get the Turkish Eggs. This was something I've never had anywhere else. The types of sauces they use in there are refreshing! You can taste the creaminess of the middle eastern style yogurt, fresh mint, and the pine nuts make a nice compliment to the sauce. Packed egg was cooked perfectly which added more creaminess to the sauce. Had the perfect amount of flavor all in one spoonful! Feeling like you need a healthier breakfast? The açaí bowl had such fresh ingredients. Granola was definitely homemade. The fruits added a perfect amount of sweetness. The açaí did not taste like it came out of frozen packaging and was sooo creamy and delightful! The ambiance gave me middle eastern vibes and the staff were very attentive and nice. Get yourself a Tasty Detox smoothie while you're at it.

This was our first brunch/breakfast spot in Lisbon and it was AMAZING! They have everything you could want and had great seating options. I highly recommend booking a reservation in advance so you skip the line. There were about 5-10 people waiting outside to be sat when we walked in! They have tons of yummy breakfast options, smoothies and coffee. We loved the service and it is in a great part of town. It's super easy to walk to the shopping areas around here.

small corner cafe, lots of foot traffic, good for "ppl watching"...the staff is really nice, I speak a little Portuguese, but they all spoke English really well, zero language barrier! The place itself is super clean, the food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. My wife and I both enjoyed our food!

Saw multiple recommendations for this cute brunch/cafe spot in Lisbon so I knew we needed to try it! The inside is super small but the staff was friendly and able to seat us quickly! I ordered the full breakfast which included the pain au chocolat, granola (parfait), scrambled eggs, cappuccino & fresh orange juice which was a great deal!!The cappuccino had a cute design and I added some brown sugar so it was super tasty! The orange juice was refreshing and tasted so fresh! The pain au chocolat was flaky and had just enough chocolate! The eggs were cheesy and warm when they arrived which was great! The granola had a cute presentation and the amount of fruit and granola gave a nice texture to the creamy yogurt. I loved the chill vibes of the cafe and I could see myself getting brunch here often if I lived in the area

This is a super popular and somewhat viral location and it was really easy to see why. Service was super prompt and sharp, we only waited 20 minutes outside even though the long line was intimidating. We were served our food in a timely manner, coffee first, some granola yogurt, and a croissant followed by our meal. Everything was fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and like it was prepared to order, the croissant were flaky, the brunch was the perfect mix of salty and sweet. There is also set menus which we ordered that allow you to get a coffee, croissant and yogurt, and a dish for approximately 20 euro -- a type of menu that would cost close to $40 in the States. Definitely come here to have a brunch or a heavy breakfast. You won't be disappointed -- everything from the plating, the food, the service, was all five star worthy!

The perfect eggs Benedict. Seasoned potatoes. Fresh ok. Great service. Chill ambiance. But those morning lines are brutal, especially on the weekends. Go later in the day or try a weekday.

Absolutely delicious, fresh, and original brunch food!! Nothing beats the quality of European eggs,…read moreand luckily here they have an "egg-forward" menu. I ordered the halloumi pancake, and was so pleased with how balanced the sweet, savory, and spicy flavors were. The pancake is fluffy and only slightly sweet, and the halloumi is baked into the top, hidden underneath the eggs. The bacon was thin and well cooked, but still chewy. And the avocado was nice and ripe! Others at our table ordered the eggs benedict, which was served on a super thick slice of brioche bread, the scrambled eggs, and the egg sandwich. All were super delicious. The sausage tray bake was "superb" according to my grandfather too! They are also very kind and accommodating here. Our party of 6 had two elderly grandparents, to whom the staff offered seats inside while we waited for a table. The wait was not long at all, and we were all seated within 10 minutes without a reservation.

I think the best parts about this place are the architectural style of the building & how close you are to some really cool shops/libraries (check out Salted Books). It was nice to be able to people watch as you peruse through the streets.

We had a perfect breakfast for our last day in Lisbon. Service was impeccable, and the food was excellent. We started with Cappuccino, juice of the day and a Bloody Mary to celebrate. Worth Going Out Of Your Way…read more.... On our annual vacation, my wife and I were fortunate enough to get a reservation for 3 nights at the Santiago de Alfama hotel. Audrey's is their primary restaurant and we sampled 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: - In keeping with the hotel, everything is beautiful in a subtle manner. Call it "down-to-earth elegance". - Breakfast: The a la carte menu offered some of the best breakfast foods we've ever had. Examples: Fresh granola and berries with Greek yogurt. THE BEST EVER! Home baked breads and pastries. Orange juice that's pure and not too sweet. Bagel and lox to please the purists. Service was provided by a trio of very friendly, attentive and helpful young women. - Lunch: We ate on the patio in front of the hotel. I had a super tasty vegetarian Thai dish while my wife had a big salad. They were accompanied by the best Sangria in ages. Sweet, but not too much. - Dinner: The dining room is very attractive yet understated like the hotel. Comfortably modern European. Food was impeccable. Tomato salad was large and amazing. My wife's dish focusing on baked cod was large and filling. My polenta with mushroom ragu was immense and full of flavor. Breads are baked daily and almost as good as dessert. Speaking of dessert, mine was a fantastic chocolate mousse while my wife had fresh berries with a massive amount of the best homemade whipped cream. Wine was a local Chardonnay - an excellent choice - for a reasonable $30. - Prices for such a Michelin star experience are considerably lower than you'd expect in the US. Con: - While the food at dinner was fantastic, service was perfunctory. Our server, a pleasant young woman, covered the basics...but nothing more. During our 90 minute meal, she NEVER asked "how are you doing?" Can I get you anything?" We ordered a bottle of wine, but NOT ONCE did she offer to refill our glasses. She didn't speak an unrequired word. The man seemingly managing the room barely acknowledged us. The guy clearing dishes was the ONLY ONE to ask if we wanted coffee or tea. The restaurant was nearly empty. Did we not spend enough? Did we do something wrong? What a way to put a damper on a glorious meal. However, as well-behaved Americans, we left a 15% tip. The next day, we spoke with Martim Neves Carneiro from Guest Relations who was very receptive to our information. He said "they are part of a new nighttime crew and will need remedial help". How very true. Despite those hesitations, Audrey's certainly deserves 5 stars.
