Special Combo B Mighty Special flavor

Great service! Fast and friendly, very happy with the staff! Coastal fisherman's wharf decor going on, fits the theme I guess, and it's fun. First seafood boil I've had in a while, and I was not disappointed. I got the mighty special flavor which was great, there was a lot of everything and it was all very tasty. I will be back!

The seafood at The Mighty Crab is so delicious, you won't be able to stop after just one bite! I personally love the Cajun Garlic flavor.

I love seafood boil so I decided to try the Mighty Crab. It's located near the Target Plaza. The food was a bit pricy but I really wanted some seafood so we decided to go and dig in. We requested the booth which was spacious. The decor was cute and reminded me of some of seafood restaurants from the 70's near the beach with the fishnet and other items you may find at a dock or seaport. The service was efficient and prompt. I started with a peach martini and sweet potato fries. I ordered my main course, the snow crab boil, a potato and corn. For the second step, I ordered the garlic butter and Cajun sauces for my boil. For the Third step I ordered the spicy level to be medium. The boil was good but a bit salty. They didn't need as much salt in the boil it took away from the other flavors. The garlic butter and Cajun seasoning were quite good on their own. They were skimpy on the vegetables the boil only had 1 corn and two potatoes. If you wanted additional corn or potatoes you had to pay for them. The music was great and the service was friendly and helpful, but they were a bit stretched and could have used at least an additional server. Th

I wish that I could use a half star in the ratings, but unfortunately I can't. Anyway on a whim, we decided to give the Mighty Crab a try and were pleasantly surprised. It took a few minutes to determine how to order and what sounded good. I went with snow crab & clams, my wife did the snow crab & black muscles. We both selected the garlic butter mild. We agreed that the flavor was almost perfect and we weren't disappointed in our order. Like another reviewer noted, they don't have the small forks that are needed to dig into crab properly so we had to "MacGyver" our way through the crab. Our waitress was good at helping us figure out the menu, but once dinner arrived, it was difficult to get her attention when my drink ran out. She wrote her name on the table but it seemed she had trouble hearing it when called. Overall I'd give the waitress an 8 out of 10. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the experience. I will return again for sure, but not on a Monday.

I'm always on the lookout for seafood restaurants and The Mighty Crab caught my eye. Knowing that, The Mighty Crab is a Louisiana style seafood restaurant that I was excited to try. Taking this into account, I ordered the fried shrimp basket and fried pickles. First, I tried the fried shrimp and it was very tasty. To explain, the breading was flavorful and seasoned. Also, the shrimp tasted fresh and was very tender. After that, I sampled the waffle fries which were solid. The fries were crispy and seasoned nicely. Finally, I turned my attention to the fried pickles which were delicious. To elaborate, the fried pickles were flavorful, crispy, and light. In addition, the dipping sauce paired perfectly with the fried pickles. In summation, The Mighty Crab is a really solid Louisiana style seafood restaurant and I hope to be back.

To start the service was amazing. Very customer focused, friendly and personable without sounding forced. She even took our pictures. The Apple martini was delicious. The food was very very tasty. We had a 100% wonderful experience. Very conveniently located and all of our needs were met. Highly recommended.

Seafood lovers are invited to a new boil shack in Latham. (Old Ruby Tuesday's) If you do not like seafood, it may not be for you. There are multiple sauces or get the combo of all of them called "MIGHTY SAUCE". It may be me, but I thought it was a tad salty. Ordered Combo B which included 1/2 lb each of snow crab, shrimp and sausage (cut up slices) with 2 potatoes, 2 hard boiled eggs, and for those who want veggys at every meal there is a piece of corn and a sprig of broccoli. Additional seafood items can be added for a nominal fee. Bibs and gloves are available. Good parking. Attentive staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Fish hanging around. Bad? Yes, my only complaint, and its not just this venue. Crab require slim picking forks to get every last bit of crab from the tiny areas of the lovely legs. It's a shame we kill these creatures, we might as well eat each and every bit of them.

    Nothing good

Ik you see the picture and be like dang he mess that food up it can't be that bad. But No this is the worse sea food I ever had. U will be better off just making it at home. I had mighty mild and nothing was mighty about it. Or maybe I just not use to bland food I'm from Louisiana and the mighty there is the bomb. I'm down here working every single place I tried down here is trash. But I'm still going to eat it tho I'm not wasting my money.

We checked out this restaurant on a whim. We happened to be nearby and it looked interesting. The restaurant itself was clean and we were seated right away. The menu was huge, with various seafood boils and fried baskets. We started off with Gator Bites and the Raw Oysters. The bites were your typical fried fare and was a lot like a popcorn chicken. It came with a dipping sauce that may have been a remoulade....but I couldn't be sure. The oysters were bland. They had no flavor at all. Even the lemon, horseradish, and cocktail sauce couldn't help them. I stopped eating them after having two. Our entrees came fairly promptly and we prepared to dig in. My Po' Boy was big and I realized I'd need to cut it in half. Only problem is that we did not have any knives, or salt, or ketchup for that matter. We waited for our server to swing by, but to no avail. Finally, I asked a different server if we could get the required items and he happily obliged. The Cajun fries were really good and had a nice flavor a crispness. The regular fries required a ton of seasoning and had no flavor at all. The breading on the fried shrimp lacked crispness and was borderline mushy. My son hated it, so I ordered him some corn on the cob. That arrived swimming in a bowl of butter. Said butter was so hot that when the corn accidentally fell into it the splash of it was bad enough for my son to go to the bathroom to run cold water over his hand. The oyster Po Boy looked slapped together and the sauce overpowered the flavor of the oysters. My husband said that his Tilapia had no flavor and the soft shell crab my oldest had an overwhelming fish smell and did not taste great. The prices were not cheap, and we expected better quality given the cost. We all left there feeling like we had a lead weight in our stomachs, and decided we would not be returning.

Oysters did not smell good - couldn't eat them. Coating on the catfish was so heavy , you could not taste the fish.

But there were just enough little things that, when added up, kept my review from being more favorable. I like to craft a salad, which you can do easily here. But if you're doing that while at the counter, unless you're looking at the menu from your phone, you only see the make-your-own ingredients on one monitor that changes what it displays about every 5 seconds. It took me several iterations to see the complete list of greens, proteins, additions, dressings, etc.. Maybe you could slow down how quickly the display changes, or maybe put a laminated copy of the menu on the counter? I was disappointed that salmon wasn't available, and they said they've had a problem getting it recently. That's not their fault, but disappointing anyway. The grilled chicken I ordered instead was fine, though chilled, meaning it was cooked earlier in the day. There was also something inedible in my salad, about pea-sized. I have no idea what it was, it wouldn't have come from any of the salad ingredients I ordered. I have to watch out for things like these, because in the past I've had crowns knocked out from biting into foods with surprises at restaurants. The rest room was clean but needed service. The soap dispenser was empty, and the wastebasket was full. Since the majority of their business appears to be take-out, and the restaurant had only been open for about 3 hours, it led me to believe they didn't bother to service it in the morning. While I'm used to "healthy" being more expensive than "starchy," even knowing I'd pay additional for the protein and certain add-ins such as avocado, the overall price, with beverage and tip, was still more than an equivalent amount at other places offering similar options in the area. None of this was deal-breaking, and just a few tweaks could easily add another star to a future revised review.

So finally I made it to this place. I was looking for a good smoothie for lunch…read more As usual, anytime I go to a new business. I proudly announce to the front person / people that I am new to this business. So they help me by making good suggestions etc. The front lady seemed a bit shy or an introvert, I really get that and that's okay, not everyone is ready to jump on a new customer. Shout out to introverts, all respect to you guys. Although bit unfriendly but she was able to help me order a smoothie. Pitaya Smoothie : Strawberries with pineapples, coconut milk with Pitaya? I never even tried Pitaya before, she said it's like dragon fruit. These were the key ingredients. However the combination of the fruits seemed bit off. I guess I compare every smoothie to the Honest Weight food coop. But berries go together. Beets and carrots and apple and lemon are acceptable pairing. Anyways may be I am wrong, thinking that Pitaya smoothie combination is bit strange. The strawberries didn't seem fresh, powder fruit might or might not have been used. I am not able to reverse engineer this smoothie. I got a salmon salad. Salmon was cured and not fresh fried, I had wished the front lady would have told me that. I do not like cured meats at all. The salads come in two sizes. Regular and large. Other than the cured salmon, the salad was great, fresh ingredients. The salad dressing was good too. Ambience was really quiet. Seems like a popular spot. Many clients stopped to get food. I would surely go back to try more things, other than the cured salmon. I have not written a long review in a while. I would definitely try this place. May be the staff will warm up overtime

Ordering online is simple but it's just as easy to call and place an order of you have any questions or concerns. This time I ordered a large pizza with vegan cheese. Why do we keep patronizing them despite the many negative reviews? In my case I was ordering with someone that wanted to give them a try. I should have told them how awful Bellini's is but I didn't want to deter them from getting what they wanted. They are now believers after we got our terrible order. I like really good Italian, and even bad Italian. Bellini's has increasingly gone down hill to now being inedible. Their meatballs used to be just ok. Tonight, the meatballs were far from ok. They seemed to be made strictly of bread and the texture was off putting. The weak vodka sauce and chewy pasta didn't help the meatball situation. One bite of a meatball and the pasta was enough to throw the entire large bowl in the trash. I won't be ever going here again and would suggest you try ANYwhere instead of Bellini's counter in Latham.

There is limited parking on the premises but always parking on the street if you don't mind some walking. The slightly rustic, lodge type of interior matches the friendly vibes as well as the interesting drink selections, including a side menu filled with signature coffee whiskey cocktails! Their tipsy cocktails and beer menu is also quite attractive. My group and I were able to walk in on a weekend evening for dinner with no wait and while it was packed inside, it still felt roomy enough. However, the surrounding tables were rowdy and the noise was reverberating. Our server was attentive though she did admit it was busy and the wait time for orders would take a bit longer than usual. The menu has plenty of starters that are highly shareable, poutine, salads, soups, mac and cheese, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, and quesadillas. Haven't had real poutine in ages so I decided to try their gravy fries with smoked cheese curds and added bacon. It was a good portion for the price ($15+) and came out hot on a cast iron skillet. The cheese curds weren't the type I expected and melted down too much, and did not have that squeaky cheese bite one would want in poutine. The gravy and the bacon worked well with the fries though! The smoked brisket French onion soup ($8+) was extremely hot when it first came out and I had to let it cool down before taking a spoonful. The cheese was so bubbly and delicious and the soup itself was flavorful (maybe a tad too salty), and had a balanced amount of onions and brisket. I would definitely get the soup again. Their barbecue pulled pork quesadilla ($15+) was also a bit too salty and meat was more tough than preferred. We also tried two of their mac and cheese selections, which came in a small cast iron pot each ($17+). The bacon chicken ranch mac and cheese was good but the jerk chicken mac and cheese was not as memorable (not much jerk flavor). Kudos for having a build-your-own mac and cheese option as well as a mac and cheese flight if you want to try more than one flavor. I'm glad to return to try other menu items at this tap and tavern and see what else catches my eye. While this visit wasn't spectacular, it also wasn't bad. The French onion soup is one thing I know I'd get over and over again. Oh, they also have a credit card transaction fee that you will see once you get the bill. Pay in cash if you mind said fee.
