Loaded baked potato
Kelley L.

The restaurant was clean, cute and organized. The staff was amazing and nice! Service was very quick. We went in to redeem our free food item vouchers. We ordered sweet potato fries and a loaded baked potato. We were stoked to get these items. It happened to be a let down which is a shame since they just opened and we were looking forward to going back since its so close to home. The potato looked amazing but was hard and seemed old. The container to the potato also had a hole in the bottom which caused it to leak all over. The sweet potato fries were burnt. Its a toss up if we will be back.

Alfredo baked potato!

First off WOW!! So bomb!!! Seriously so many options!! I had the Alfredo baked potato and my husband had a Philly cheesesteak baked potato and both were delicious!! The owner also gave us a little taster off the secret menu! It was these strawberry cream cheese empanada things lol I forgot what he named them but they were fire!! We were the first to get them and let's just say I hope they get on the menu asap!! Whole place is Seriously a must try!!

We had seen this restaurant a couple times when dining downtown. My family loves melty melty cheesy stuff, so we were excited when we finally got to check it out. I'll start off by saying our food was delicious. Very very good. The shop was pretty basic with the decor and the tables, not a whole lot of decoration. Not that I particularly care about that sort of thing, Just making notes. Now, unfortunately, on the day we went, there appeared to be some scheduling issue. So there was only one person working. ONE. Handling the front with the cash register, and taking orders, AND she was also the only one there to go in the back and make the food. So that was problematic. I'm not sure how long the shop was open before we got there, but there were already customers at tables eating their food. And while we were looking over the menu and placing our order, she was literally texting and calling another employee to get them to come in early so that she would have someone else to help her. So obviously that was not great. But she was super friendly and nice, and apologetic about the delay. Honestly, even though the other employee didn't show up until after we got our food, it did not take very long for our food to come out. It was pretty quick. And again, the food was delicious. One other issue on the day we went in, was that it was very smoky in the shop. The sole employee had mentioned something about cleaning the grills in the back, maybe that was it. But it was pretty smoky in there. Not enough to make it unpleasant, but it was definitely noticeable. I think the scheduling issue was a fluke thing, so I would definitely go back and try them again. Also, the prices were pretty good for what we got. We ordered a couple of sammiches, my two sons got sammiches with Maca maca cheese inside, and a friend that came with us got some Alfredo pasta. Everybody really enjoyed their food. Also, my wife got some kind of cookie/brownie dessert thing, and that was absolutely excellent. One of the best prepackaged desserts I've had in a very long time. If u like melty cheesy food, you should definitely give The Melting Station a try.

Mac and cheese

I came here wanting to experience Mac and cheese and yes sir I did. Cheese on everything is just fabulous. The loaded potato was amazing. They just opened so have some kinks to work out but it was a good experience. The service was polite. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was chill. I love the location and I'll probably see about ordering online as they have that option. I saw the owner is a 49ers fan so I'll just be nice and not deduct a star :)

Fries and ranch cup

Went in with my husband Sunday March 2, 2025 at about noon. Walked in and saw there were about 5-6 other tables with people. They had just opened the week before I believe. The super nice young lady at the register said they had just had the "grand opening" the previous day. After explaining how it worked, we placed our order. My husband ordered Chicken parm pasta $12.50 and a fountain drink $3.00, and I had ordered the danenberger $14.50 and made it a meal (fries and a fountain drink) for another $4.50. My husband also asked for an order of mozzarella sticks but said she was pretty sure they were out without double checking. He decided he did not want anything else, so we paid and took our cups to the fountain area to get our drinks. There was no iced tea, (my drink of choice) and two or three of the fountain drinks had out of order tabs on them. I opted for Starry and my husband got a cola. We found a table, I took a drink of my starry and it was just carbonated water. I heard one of the owners say they were out of starry now too, in passing. About 15 minutes later, a young woman came out of the kitchen with our order on a tray. And pleasantly to my surprise there was a cup of ranch with my fries! My husband, a ketchup guy, asked for ketchup and she walked away, grabbed a handful of ketchup packets and then brought them back to the table and put them on top of my fries. Not on the table, not on the tray, but directly on top of the fries. I stopped eating the fries after that. My husband was starving and he dove right in. He said his chicken parm pasta was good, but the chicken was very overcooked. My sandwich/melt was good. But I feel like it's not worth $14.50 by itself. There was the smallest thinnest beef patty on it. My husband agreed it needed two. But we did hear them say they were now out of the burger patty's. The fries, while crispy, were not very good. They looked seasoned, but did not taste seasoned. The ranch was super runny. About 3 bites into my food, the young lady from the kitchen came out and asked for the tray back. We had to take all our food off of it and give it back to her. My husband said there was four trays on the stand behind me. ‍ the place looked nice and clean and had great lighting. I did not get a chance to use the restroom. One thing I did notice was they all had gloves on, but were touching everything with gloves. Touching food, touching doors, faces, papers, tables, chairs. I think we will be back, and hopefully all the kinks will be worked out.

The food here was so delicious! Our toddler loved his quesadilla, hubby enjoyed the "Danenberger", and my "Ranch Hand" flatbread was so good!!

Well she is amazing and just talking to her in this short time that I was there you can definitely hear her love for food and our community. Her and her husband put a lot of time into this restaurant to make sure the quality is perfect at every bite in everything they cook. What helps this pizza taste great is the style of their brick oven. It's the only way to have a really good pizza cooked. I hear they just opened up another location off of Fowler and Ashlan and the atmosphere, music and customers are really good. I had ordered or made my own style of pizza, and let me tell you right out of the gate that crust omg was so crispy, cooked perfectly and tasted just perfect. Their pizza sauce is home made and let me say hands down one of the best sauces I've had in a long time. I will be back to try more off the menu but I'm sure it will hit a home run for our community. I usually just make my own personal/small pizza and they just charge a flat fee regardless of how many toppings I'm adding to it. There have been a couple times when they've been a little stingy with the toppings, but it's still so delicious, so I can't deduct a star for that. In my opinion, it almost falls under a Detroit-style pizza...not too thin or thick, but the dough has just enough pillow to it. *Bonus - during Christmas time, they go all out with some kooky decorations in their tiny space and it brings a smile.

I ordered two small pizzas and a tray of beef and cheese tortellini. Their small pizzas are about 8-inches and come with unlimited toppings. These pizzas were delicious with their crispy crust, delicious sauce, and truly fresh toppings. We ordered a cheese pizza for the kids and a ricotta, mushroom, and Italian sausage on the other one. When I picked up the pizzas, I thought there's no way this will feed two adults and two children. Surprise, we had leftovers! The tortellini was delicious and slightly al dente, which I loved, but I thought it could've used a little more herbaceous spice. My wife and kids loved it; which is very surprising because normally my kids don't like red sauce. The food took about 20-minutes to make and it was still piping hot when I got home. When I originally ordered, the guy at the counter suggested their two large pizzas for with three toppings each for $37. Initially I thought this was pricey, but once I got my bill I realized he was definitely trying to help me out. My order was $55 with tip, but that's expected with small local spots. To be honest, I don't care about the price because I know that every penny spent is supporting not just the biz, but the family that's connected and depends on it. Support local and eat good pizza!

Upon walking in, the girl working the front did greet us and asked if we were dining in or taking it to go... we said 'in' and sat straight ahead at the bar area. We sat there a while, waiting, wondering when she would come over to us until we finally asked her and she said we had to order at the register..... we didn't know that. I feel like that should've been stated since she saw us just sitting there for a long while without a clue? Idk. I think the layout could've been swapped. Ordering counter should've been right when you walk in... Or at the very least a sign that says "ORDER HERE" (that's visible in front). Maybe we missed it? Anyway, we got the Fettuccine Alfredo and a slice of Pepperoni Pizza. Fettuccine came out at a decent time. I have nothing much to say about it, honestly. It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't memorable. Something a frozen pasta dinner would turn out like, maybe? And that leads me to the pizza... which, btw, took a verrrrrrry long time to come out to us. Idk if they forgot or if they burnt it (I heard the guy making the pizzas say that he burnt one but idk whose order). The pizza slice was bigger than we expected, I give them that... however, it's no better than a frozen, store-bought pizza. I think I've actually had better from those frozen ones. Not trying to be harsh, just being honest. It was a let down. The girl working the front was nice/sweet but she might've been a touch overwhelmed, I feel. The guys working with her, handling the food, weren't the happiest people either but the guy up front did help serve a beer for us-- I think because he had to. Our girl probably wasn't of age yet (I'm assuming-- looked very young). Decent pizza parlor size. Probably 2 (maybe 3) booths-- this is what I could see from my corner of the bar. A few tables along the center of the area and not sure how many seats outside but a big family (6-8 people) did walk in and went to eat out there, comfortably (I think). Cleanliness? Looked okay to me. Bar area was not in use and they have a fountain station to fill your drinks. I think I touched on everything. He gave them a 2.5... I can't round this place up. It's gotta be a 2 for me. Sorry.

Let me just say, the pizza with pink sauce was amazing. It may not sound like the most enticing combo, but it was so good. The salad was pretty standard, but the zeppoles were dangerously addictive. They reminded me of beignets, and that dipping sauce was absolutely fire. The Good: the price is reasonable. It's on the cheaper side and not much more than fast food delivery pizza. Staff was cordial and it was ready for pick up in record time. I ordered garlic on my pizza and they had fresh garlic. That's a huge plus considering many pizza establishments put minced pickled garlic from a jar on the pizza. The Bad: The pizza tasted like fast food pizza. The dough has a certain texture and doughiness reminiscent of Pizza Hut while the cheese tasted like it came from Costco. The spaghetti was the most disappointing part of the meal. There were only three meatballs in the spaghetti with meatballs and it had a weird taste and kick to it that reminded me of jarred Mexican salsa. It wasn't arrabiata. Inexcusably, there was so little sauce in the pasta that not a single plate could cover the noodles. It may have earned a higher score if my expectations were fast food, low quality pizza
