It's the perfect size it always looks too big but by the time I'm finished with the first half I always have room for the second half. It's perfect to the last bite. We found this place on the corner of Blackstone and Shaw in Fresno. There was some seating outside available. Super friendly staff. We tried the steak Philly and Italian club sandwiches as well as the fried zucchini. They were all SO good! I wasn't prepared for how big the sandwiches were gonna be but they were both loaded! The Philly was so heavy. Definitely shareable. The zucchini came with a lot for the price but I wasn't a fan of the garlic aioli that came with it. I didn't ask if they had ranch but it's ok. The prices are a little bit high BUT the food was hot, fresh and so good and nowadays, what's NOT expensive? For the amount of food we got it was ok. Ordered a ton of food tonight from Luigis for our family of 5. Their new location is on my way home from work. I will say the prices make sense because the servings are enough to feed two per, at least, if not more. *Meatball sandwich- 15yo said it was "bomb" and he ate the entire thing. (It was HUGE) *Penne with red sauce- 12yo and 7yo ate the entire thing. No complaints *Chicken Philly-SO FLAVORFUL! Couldn't eat it all. *Chicken Parm-Husband devoured it all. *Mozzarella sticks- Delicious! Sauce was good. *Fried Mushrooms-By the time we got home, they weren't crispy, but we just popped them into the air fryer and they were fine. Sauce was the best! *Cheese Bread- Kids loved it. Food here was so amazingly flavorful! Calzone had the perfect crisp to it and packed full of the supreme ingredients. Tasted great with and without the marinara sauce on the side. Honk honk, NEW food truck in town! Looks like you can catch their schedule on Facebook and Instagram... I first caught this new offering at Pardini's on a Sunday afternoon after church. There were several trucks on that corner and it looked intriguing! The truck is brand spanking new and the owner apparently as ITALIAN as they come. One guess on what his name is? :) Man, the menu looked fantastic with a nice offering of various sandwiches and calzones. I'm a sucker for a GOOD meatball sandwich and so after asking 'if they make their own meatballs?' and hearing the replay, 'yes' I decided to start the adventure there. I was richly rewarded with a big meaty sami with a tasty sauce and nicely melted cheese. The meatballs were HOT, soft and tasty and had a slight char adding to the texture.. It was better than I'd hoped for! Looks like they move around a lot so you'll need to check their page... But next on my radar is that "Sauteed Mushroom Philly! can't wait... The menu is limited and focused which is just what you want...IF you want to put out exceptional food, keep it simple. I'll attempt to post the menu below. Where to begin. Absolutely delicious. SOLID 8.2/10. Had the phili cheese and a diet pepsi. Can of soda was well chilled. The sandwich was greasy, but fat is FLAVOR. I think the only thing missing would be some green peppers and possibly another spice i can't quite put my finger on. Overall, you'll see me back. The meatballs I g9t 9n the side were the only thing edible. I know ow all these italian restaurants in fresno are related families, and I.will continue to frequent Mama Mias, Mike's Pizzaria, Ovideos, etc. BUT, this Luigi's food truck sucks. With full intentions to try new trucks, I head out to the food truck scene and I always end up at Luigi's. The food is truly amazing and tastes so fresh every time. Not to mention the staff. The meatball sandwich was HUGE and oh my it was so delicious. The French bread it was served on was soft and hot and the cheesy was extra melty.
