Love this place! I don't know why it took us so long to finally order from here. We only decided to give it a try while browsing Uber Eats and noticed they had a great deal going on...free zeppoles plus 20% off a $25 order. For our most recent order, we got a large combination pizza with pink sauce, a large garden salad with ranch, and an order of zeppoles with chocolate caramel dipping sauce. Let me just say, the pizza with pink sauce was amazing. It may not sound like the most enticing combo, but it was so good. The salad was pretty standard, but the zeppoles were dangerously addictive. They reminded me of beignets, and that dipping sauce was absolutely fire. I will say that sometimes the order doesn't come exactly right, although that could just as easily be an Uber Eats issue rather than the restaurant itself. Either way, the flavor and the deals have more than made up for it. We'll definitely be ordering from here again, and hopefully dining in sometime too... depending on how well the kids behave read more

I moved to Bakersfield from Huntington Beach. I'm on the hunt for quality pizza. Zeppo's Pizza has a 4.5 star review and is less than 2 miles from my home, so I decided to give it a try. The Good: the price is reasonable. It's on the cheaper side and not much more than fast food delivery pizza. Staff was cordial and it was ready for pick up in record time. I ordered garlic on my pizza and they had fresh garlic. That's a huge plus considering many pizza establishments put minced pickled garlic from a jar on the pizza. The Bad: The pizza tasted like fast food pizza. The dough has a certain texture and doughiness reminiscent of Pizza Hut while the cheese tasted like it came from Costco. The spaghetti was the most disappointing part of the meal. There were only three meatballs in the spaghetti with meatballs and it had a weird taste and kick to it that reminded me of jarred Mexican salsa. It wasn't arrabiata. Inexcusably, there was so little sauce in the pasta that not a single plate could cover the noodles. It may have earned a higher score if my expectations were fast food, low quality pizza read more

I was in town for some work and I was having a craving for some good pizza. I moved to the CV about a year ago and live in Porterville. There isn't much by way of good pizza there and it's been difficult to find a good pie. I found this spot since it was close to the job site I was at. I talked to who I come to find out was one of the owners Mando. I told my dilema with finding good zaa. Well he told Me how they work with the dough and their preferred cooking style. I got a lg pizza to go with some lemon pepper wings. While I waited I had a single slice of pepperoni. I didn't expect it to come out piping hot. The damn thing was delicious. Of course in the way home the pie wasn't going to be as fresh so Mando told me to reheat on a plancha. I did and it was delicious. Last the lemon pepper wings couldn't wait till I got home. This is my second time having Zeppos pizza, and my first time dining in. The restaurant is clean and bright with multiple TVs. There are some table games to enjoy while you wait; they also have some claw and prize coin machines in the back. We ordered a side of wedges and a large pepperoni pizza with jalapeños. The wedges came out FRESH and still steaming. We enjoyed them with a side of ranch (which is the best ranch I've decided). I highly recommend it as someone who is personally picky about potato wedges. We easily saw a picture of Zeppo's pizza and knew we had to try it. I am so glad we did because I think it's definitely our new favorite pizza spot in Bakersfield. We actually ended up going back 5 days later to have it again! This time we took my Grandma and Uncle & they were equally impressed! Everything we have ordered has been crazy delicious. And we've ended both meals with zeppoles that just make the whole meal even better. Between everyone we have had the buffalo chicken pizza, a pepperoni with Alfredo sauce, spicy Italian, vegetarian pizza, a large lunch special slice of cheese and pepperoni, the fried ravioli & of course the zeppoles! We stopped into Zeppo's and went for a Thin Crust Half Pepperoni & Cheese -- absolutely delicious, a solid 8.3 on my personal pizza scale. We also tried the Grandma Pie (well, I did ) and it was a perfect balance of crisp/crunch with that rich sauce on top -- exactly how it should be. It was our first time trying Zeppos. The atmosphere is nice, the staff at the register was very friendly and helpful. She made us feel very welcome. I like that they have games to play, arcade/board. Their pizza seasonings on the table (parm/chili flakes) have date labels. I thought this was cool and meant they are keeping up with the freshness of them. The Bacon Cheddar wedges are yummy! Had Zeppo's for the first time last night, the restaurant has a very mom and pop, friendly atmosphere, simple and quaint. Our take out order was 2 medium pizzas and an order of wedges, tasted like fresh quality ingredients, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed our meal, normally pizza is just pizza and nothing to write about. Highly recommend! Overall everything was delicious! The wedges were perfectly cut and baked. The Pizza was phenomenal. One of the many issues I've encountered at other pizza spots is it being too oily and heavy with all toppings falling off. Not in this case its perfectly thin and crunchy and all toppings baked on top giving you tons of flavor with every bite. We recently ordered two chicken bacon club sandwiches. The sandwiches we received were chicken parmigiana. Called them and they made and sent us the correct sandwiches. The sandwiches were awful. The chicken was shredded chicken and the bacon was bacon bits with cheese. Two of our last three orders we've placed with them haven't been what we ordered. I don't know what's happened with them but they have really gone down hill. This use to be our favorite pizza place but I can't recommend them anymore. Poor service and poor quality. read more

We've been coming to Zeppo's since the old days of Cubbies. Great pizza, friendly service and a very inviting dining room usually with baseball on the multiple big screens. We love to hang out and play board games. They don't hassle us to get out after we're done eating so we have plenty of time to finish up whatever game we're playing.
