Great lunch special - $4.99 for a large slice. Super fast and great service. Combine with a fresh salad or sides such as mozzarella sticks or fries.

Ordered by phone for pick-up. It was very quick. We did order some simple which was a giant pepperoni pizza. I enjoyed the thin crust NY-style pizza. I absolutely devoured that pizza

    two minis and a fry

AN HOUR WAIT for 2 minis and a fry. a refund wouldn't do it justice for bare minimum. i asked why the extra 30 minute wait and they said the fries just finished. such a foolery thing to say, nothing should take an hour in an establishment as such with us ordering ahead of time. extremely lame and obviously just a place with expensive prices and actual no care for customers!!! but this place is perfect for people who don't care about how much they spend for cold food and wasted time

This is my second time having Zeppos pizza, and my first time dining in. The restaurant is clean and bright with multiple TVs. There are some table games to enjoy while you wait; they also have some claw and prize coin machines in the back. We ordered a side of wedges and a large pepperoni pizza with jalapeños. The wedges came out FRESH and still steaming. We enjoyed them with a side of ranch (which is the best ranch I've decided). I highly recommend it as someone who is personally picky about potato wedges. At first, we were brought the wrong pizza, but the staff was EXTREMELY accommodating and replaced it with the correct order immediately. They even let us keep the other pizza!!! for free!!!! in this economy???!! Who is doing it like that??!! The pizza itself? Amazing. It came out fresh, and the crust had a great crunch. The pepperoni and cheese were very flavorful; the jalapeños were fresh, which made it perfect! All staff I had the pleasure of interacting with was extremely helpful and generous. That being said, I will never eat Domino's again. Zeppos for life!

Weekday deals are great, along with their lunch combos!! Came here on Valentine's Day, and it was so beautifully decorated. I was welcomed with warm faces and happy smiles! The cheesy bread WAS SOOOO GOOD, I just needed some dipping sauce , it just melted in my mouth . It's cheaper to order pizza on the weekdays and I think that's a bonus

We've been here a couple of times and we are so happy we found this pizza place. We try different pizzas every time we stop by and they never disappoint. I ask for the pizza a little extra crispy and it always comes out so good

They have an awesome weekday pizza special, $19/giant one topping. The store is really clean and they have great lunch special slices. The pizza is good, the cheese has a different texture/melt than I typically prefer, but it's decent pizza and it's a local business! Loved all of the games they had while we waited and the staff were super patient with my 6 year old who kept trying to peek into their cooking area.

We easily saw a picture of Zeppo's pizza and knew we had to try it. I am so glad we did because I think it's definitely our new favorite pizza spot in Bakersfield. We actually ended up going back 5 days later to have it again! This time we took my Grandma and Uncle & they were equally impressed! Everything we have ordered has been crazy delicious. And we've ended both meals with zeppoles that just make the whole meal even better. Between everyone we have had the buffalo chicken pizza, a pepperoni with Alfredo sauce, spicy Italian, vegetarian pizza, a large lunch special slice of cheese and pepperoni, the fried ravioli & of course the zeppoles! I'm giving everything a 11/10! The staff is also super nice, they work fast, keep the restaurant very clean. There's board games available to play as well as a small little arcade with some games and air hockey. It's a great place! Shoutout to Mondo who was incredibly kind to my family when we came back a second time. We will continue to visit and tell everyone about this place!

    Thin crust pizza

Last night we ordered a large 1-topping thin crust and a Grandma Pie I believe? (Detroit style) The pizza was delicious as always. The thin crust had integrity and a nice crunch. I always love the friendly service and the atmosphere. It is always a clean inviting environment. They have arcade games and an air hockey table for a fun family night. They have some delicious looking desserts and gelato. They even put local kids' drawings as decorative napkin holders! I love supporting this local business. We will of course be back.

We stopped into Zeppo's and went for a Thin Crust Half Pepperoni & Cheese -- absolutely delicious, a solid 8.3 on my personal pizza scale. We also tried the Grandma Pie (well, I did ) and it was a perfect balance of crisp/crunch with that rich sauce on top -- exactly how it should be. The atmosphere is fantastic, with arcade games and air hockey for the kids, making it a fun spot for the whole family. The staff is amazing -- friendly, attentive, and you can tell they care about making your visit great. Prices are fantastic for the quality you're getting, and it's hard to beat having a spot this good so close to home. Love this place!

After a long day of "Is this the house?" and "Why is everything beige?", sitting down to a comforting plate of pasta felt like exactly what we needed. The service has always been warm, cozy and welcoming, which is probably why this has quietly become one of my husband and my go-to spots when cooking at home feels like just a little too much effort. Is it fancy? No. Is it reliable, tasty, and tied to one of our first memories here? Absolutely. And sometimes, that's exactly what you want. My husband is a fan of their Combination pizza!

Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be ordering from them again. We placed an online order for two large pizzas with pepperoni and olives. When the order was delivered, both pizzas were plain cheese. Mistakes happen, and this has happened a few times over the years, but in the past they corrected the issue and delivered the correct pizzas. This time was completely different. When we called to explain the problem, the woman on the phone argued with my wife instead of trying to help. She kept saying their system showed that we ordered cheese pizzas, so that is what we received. There was no attempt to listen, verify the receipt, or resolve the issue professionally. We ended up bringing the receipt and the pizzas back to the restaurant, and even then they continued to insist they were right. The staff was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility for the mistake. After several back-and-forth comments, they finally issued a refund, but the entire situation was handled terribly. I understand that order mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is arguing with a customer, refusing to look at the actual receipt, and treating long-time customers like they are the problem. After years of supporting this business, this experience completely changed my opinion of Slice of Italy. I will not be returning, and I will make sure others know how poorly this situation was handled.

From Lean…read moreCuisine, to a warmed up 7-11 pepperoni, to the Margherita at Frugatti's, I've enjoyed them all. My philosophy is that pizza is like only one other thing in life - even if its not that great, its still pretty good. Thats why it pains me to report that Woodstone, once ranked as one of the best pizzas in Kern County, completely missed the mark tonight. Uber Eats offered a 50% off promo at Domino's this evening, but my wife and I opted to drop $70 on a medium Hawaiian and a "Woodstone" (combination), with a side of boneless buffalo wings instead. Upon arrival, we noticed both medium pizzas were delivered in large size boxes, leaving a wide berth between the crust and the edge of the box. While the pies were delivered in good condition and warm to the touch, they were not as visually striking as one would expect. It was clear that too small pizzas were placed in too big boxes. I dove into the combination first, and immediately noticed a bland lack of flavor. I tried to add some pizzaz with the provided pepper flakes and parm, but no dice. I had to dip my slice in ranch just to choke it down. Unfortunately, the Hawaiian pizza was no better. The crust on both pizzas was hard, almost as if it was stale, and each of the toppings were congealed together in the melted cheese so there was just an amalgam of bland flavor throughout each bite. Both pizzas tasted the same, in fact (not good). I moved on to the wings and they had an off flavor and gummy texture as well. Truly, everything tasted like it was left out from the lunch buffet a day or two ago and someone brushed some garlic butter on everything, nuked it for half a minute, and half assedly packaged it all up for us tonight. The good news is the City of Bakersfield announced that it is acceptable to dispose of pizza boxes in the green waste can now. Sadly that's where this entire meal wound up.
