Spaghetti with grilled chicken

My wife and I stopped at Pasta Bowls and had one of the best quick pasta meals we've had in a long time. We split the spaghetti with meat sauce topped with grilled chicken, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked pasta, rich and flavorful meat sauce, and tender grilled chicken on top. We both loved it and kept saying how awesome it was. It also came with a little piece of bread that was really good too. Best part? The food was ready right when we got there, hot and fresh. Great portion size for sharing, excellent taste, and super convenient. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend Pasta Bowls if you're craving quality Italian food done right.

My husbands birria, I forgot to get pics of my Alfredo.

The bean dip and chips are friggin excellent, we had the happy hour special my husband had the birria taco plate 2 tacos beans and rice, I had the fettuccini Alfredo. My husbands birria tacos were huge packed with meat that was excellent, when I looked at his beans I said those are canary beans from Peru they were cooked to perfection with an added touch of cilantro, the rice was cooked perfectly not mushy like so many restaurants. The service was the best we asked questions and the ladies were kind enough to indulge us, I am sending my husband to get me a breakfast burrito tomorrow. This happy hour dinner was $20 for both of our plates together and a drink. The waitress sent me home with a side of the bean dip and chips and a slice of cheesecake. The lady Suzanne that said the beans came out of a can definitely has never had Peruvian cannery beans, the beans are excellent, perhaps because I come from SoCal and my taste are very diverse I can definitely tell the difference between canned and fresh home cooked beans. I also make canary beans as my husband is Peruvian and I was surprised that this restaurant served them with birria which the flavors complimented each other.

Came to have breakfast while we waited for our truck tires checked nearby. Birria & grilled chicken breakfast burritos b1g1 for $1 (filled with eggs, hash browns, cheese & avocado). Hash browns give it a good crunch, made it really good. Also tried their free chips & dip. Place is really clean, good vibe with country music playing. Staff are nice & friendly. Will definitely come here again.

I went yesterday to Pasta Bowls on Calloway and Olive Dr. The restaurant was clean with a nice ambience. I was immediately greeted by a friendly person behind the counter asking how she could help me. I had ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. I also got a Birria Taco which I've never had before. I started with the taco. Wow. Even before I ate it, it was mouthwatering just to look at. It was love at first bite. The savory sauce that you dip your taco into was very complimentary. The meat inside was cooked perfectly. By the time I was done with the taco I was just about full. I decided to at least have a few bites of the Fettuccine Alfredo. I found the noodles were cooked just right. It was oozing with butter and Olive oil. The chicken was also cooked to perfection. The whole dish was something I would expect from a high end restaurant. I was very impressed. After the taco and a few bites of the Fettuccine Alfredo I was stuffed. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back soon.

I ordered the spicy chicken penne with shrimp, but the sauce had barely any flavor and tasted almost watered down.

We only decided to…read moregive it a try while browsing Uber Eats and noticed they had a great deal going on...free zeppoles plus 20% off a $25 order. For our most recent order, we got a large combination pizza with pink sauce, a large garden salad with ranch, and an order of zeppoles with chocolate caramel dipping sauce. Let me just say, the pizza with pink sauce was amazing. It may not sound like the most enticing combo, but it was so good. The salad was pretty standard, but the zeppoles were dangerously addictive. They reminded me of beignets, and that dipping sauce was absolutely fire. I will say that sometimes the order doesn't come exactly right, although that could just as easily be an Uber Eats issue rather than the restaurant itself. Either way, the flavor and the deals have more than made up for it. We'll definitely be ordering from here again, and hopefully dining in sometime too... depending on how well the kids behave

That part of the restaurant was smelly being close to the restroom.

I passed through Bakersfield and wanted to get some dinner and came across this place on yelp as…read morethe highest rated in the area and decided to give it a try. This establishment only has a drive-through or outdoor seating but it shares a parking lot with a Mexican restaurant and it was quite busy and I also did not have too much time so I decided to go through the drive-through I was a little confused about the drive-thru because there are two restaurants in one one is an Italian restaurant and one is a Mexican restaurant. I was wondering if I was in the correct line but you can order from either restaurant on either lane of the drive-thru. When I pulled up to the speaker, the menu is extremely extensive and overwhelming, but I knew that I wanted pasta, but I was very tempted by the Mexican food choices as well. I could not decide between trying the fettuccine or the pesto pasta I asked the lady at the speaker which one she preferred and she said why not get both since one is 1795 and for two it's $20. It only made logical sense to try both. I decided to try the fettuccine with shrimp and the pesto with chicken even though I prefer it without any protein, but it comes included so why not? After receiving my food, I found a parking spot and decided to try a little bit of each pasta. They were both piping hot, even too hot to hold, but also so fresh and delicious. They came with a white toast with some type of garlic butter smeared on one side. The toast was nothing special, but the pastas were delicious especially the fettuccine with the shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and I really enjoyed the pesto on the penny. They have a large selection of pastas so I definitely wanna bring my family so I can try more options and then come back and try their Mexican food as well. The place was very popular and the drive-thru had a very long line the whole time I was there kind of like In-N-Out. This speaks highly of the restaurant. The drive-thru attendance were very kind and helpful so I will definitely be back.

The drive thru was convenient and quick, but Olive Garden prices for pasta that I could get from a drive thru is wiiiild. I had heard such great things about Pasta Bowls, but the Cajun Chicken Penne was mid. The pasta tasted bland and dry. Some bites were somewhat more flavorful when I got more sauce on the penne, but it was still underwhelming. If I come back, I hope to try their other pastas for a better experience.

He was very attentive, helpful, and gave us a nice dining experience. 5 star staff, for sure! We were celebrating 2 birthdays in our family, and everything went wonderfully. Our waiter was polite, gave birthday wishes to them, and the experience altogether with a party of 8 was lovely. The bread they brought out was warm and tasted delicious with butter. I also recommend trying the bread with some olive oil and red wine vinegar. It's super delicious! I had Alfredo pasta with the ricotta ravioli. I switched out the meat sauce (that comes with the ravioli) for the Alfredo sauce. My favorite part of this dish has to be the ravioli. It was a bit oily, but the flavors were great. I shared the chocolate cake with my husband, and we enjoyed it. While it was rich and sweet, it was a bit too sweet for us. However, with a glass of milk or even some coffee, it may help with the rich chocolate taste. I had an Arnold Palmer, and it was good. I may be a bit picky, but there are some lemonades at restaurants that I don't really enjoy (ie- the Minute Maid Lemonade) because of the after taste, which this Arnold Palmer had. However, the balance of the ice tea made up for it. On a Saturday night, the restaurant can be noisy and busy. However, we really enjoyed the ambiance of the location. Their decor, the stones on the wall (in the photo attached), the lighting, the chandeliers, etc were all very lovely and tied together the vibe of the restaurant. I definitely recommend if you're looking for some authentic Italian cuisine! Would come again for sure.

We loved it so much, not only did we dine there, we ordered a bunch of food to go and drove it home to heat up and eat the next day. The next day food was just as great as when we ate there. It just has wonderful dishes. Founder by Nick Uricchio, and his son Steve they opened Uricchio's Trattoria, clearly a family affair. Sadly, Nick died some time ago. He was the nicest guy and always had a smile on his face. His nick name was Papa Nick. He always said hello to the customers and was just a doll. Go in his honor. It is just as great as when Nick was there. Steve is usually there to greet you and he is wonderful. Uricchio's Trattoria offers a great selection of appetizers, soups (a must) and entrees to satisfy anyone. They have fresh seasonal dishes prepared with care from Executive Chef Raphael Hernandez who has been there forever I think. Parking is easy. Make a reservation, you want to do that. It gets crowded. We have been there without one before and loved sitting at the bar and eating. Anything with shrimp is great. All of their pastas are great. We loved their spaghetti and meat balls. Their vegetables are made right. They don't consider it something just to toss on your plate. They are al dente and so great. Their Linguini pasta with shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels in a tomato basil marinara sauce is my favorite and they have the best salads and desserts. It is a must stop in Bakersfield. The place is beautiful.

I called ahead the day before and made reservations for myself, my mom and dad, and my husband. We sat down and the place was empty on a Saturday, just a couple tables occupied. My mom ordered a Cesar salad and it was warm! We waited an hour and 15 minutes and our food never came out. No one came and gave us an update but we kept getting sent numerous appetizers "on the house". Sodas were watered down. Bread was mediocre. Finally after an hour and 15 minutes we got up and left. Whatever was happening in the kitchen was not a good sign! They appeared to be struggling despite being not busy at all. I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant, my husband and I had to get in n out on the grapevine for dinner.
