My husband and I went here for Friday date night. He made reservations and we were seated in the inner room which we liked. Quiet and a bit more private. It was pretty busy, the server took a while to take our orders. My husband and I split their shrimp and scallop pasta and an order of calamari. I love how the scallops were cooked, I think that was the best part. They give you bread as starters but not sure if they come with any olive oil/balsamic vinegar. We had ours with butter which I think is okay. Good, casual, date night place in my opinion.

Came here for Valentine's Day and left with a new crush: the Lobster Ravioli. Honestly, the flavors were so top-notch I'm still thinking about them. My only heartbreak? There were only five on the plate. I could have easily devoured twenty! The starter bread deserves an award for its role as the ultimate "sauce scooper" nothing went to waste. My boyfriend's pasta (pictured) was solid, but let's be real, mine won the dinner. The staff was super attentive (my water glass was never lonely) and the V-Day decor made the whole night feel extra special. Highly recommend, just maybe order a double portion of ravioli if you're as obsessed as I am!

We waited over an hour for our food, and when I finally asked our server about it, I was told it was "on its way out." By that point, however, we had already been sitting far too long with our children and decided we couldn't wait any longer. The staff offered to pack the food to go. I was told one of our entrées would be comped because of the delay, but that never happened. Instead, I was given a gift card after the mistake was realized. Throughout the meal, empty glasses were left on our table, and I eventually carried them to the bar myself. Our server followed me and asked if I wanted another drink, which I declined. While the staff was apologetic, the final issue was what pushed me to write this review. My chicken cacciatore was packed so carelessly that by the time I opened it, it was a soggy, unappetizing mess. After spending nearly two hours of our weekend dealing with this experience, being charged full price for food that was never properly served and then poorly packaged is simply unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but the combination of the excessive wait, lack of attention to the table, billing issues, and poor handling of the takeout order made for a frustrating experience that fell far below expectations.

Stopped in for a quick drink after a meeting. The bar was empty but the service was quick and polite. I will say that the chairs and bar top itself could use some improvements. The chair was barely hanging on and there were crumbs in most crevices. Bartender was friendly and drinks well made so I can't complain!

I have not been here for years. It has not changed. Very busy on a Thursday night. The waitress was very helpful and our drinks were on the table in minutes. It is very nice, with black table cloth, the decor is a little old school. But the food was incredible. The calamari was crunchy, fluffy, just perfect in every way. The scallop and jumbo shrimp was flavorful and succulent. And the pasta was amazing. My wife spoke highly of the browny. Great experience over all.

Today we stopped by one of our old favorites, Uricchio's Trattoria off 17th street. They have their lunch specials for the month of May 2025 for only $15. Their Chicken Piccata is one of my favorites - we chose to have it with a side of pasta (Fettuccine Alfredo) If you haven't had a chance to stop by recently now is a great time to take advantage of lunch specials at this local favorite. They have the specials available throughout the rest of May on Wednesday - Friday during lunch hours from 11am - 2pm. Chicken Piccata with Sautéed Vegetables and Potatoes Baked Lasagna Rigatoni with Sausage and Pink Vodka Sauce

Those are two of the entrees and sides. That would not feed 18 people. Not shown is the bread and chicken & salad.

Jeremy led an exceptional class focused on Portuguese wines, taking us on a journey through the country's diverse wine regions. Rather than simply tasting wines, he dove into the history, terroir, and winemaking techniques behind each pour. I especially enjoyed learning how wines are aged and preserved using stainless steel, oak, and even cement barrels. The discussion about cement barrels was completely new to me and ended up being one of the most fascinating parts of the evening. The class was held in Campo's side room, which was spacious and filled with beautiful natural light. It created a relaxed, intimate ambiance that was perfect for learning, asking questions, and enjoying the wines without feeling crowded. To accompany the tasting, we were served delicious canned tuna seasoned with paprika alongside locally made kettle chips from Moo Creamery, located just down the street. The pairing was simple but thoughtful, allowing the Portuguese wines to remain the star while showcasing another great local business. Jeremy has a gift for making wine approachable and engaging, whether you're a novice or a seasoned wine enthusiast. I left with a much deeper appreciation for Portuguese wines, plenty of new knowledge, and excitement to attend another class. If this first tasting is any indication, I'll definitely be back for many more.

Last year I made a large reservation for about 10 ladies to celebrate someone and on the way to the restaurant they called to confirm the reservation (about 30 minutes before), but I did not hear my phone. When I arrived, a distraught friend told me that they did not have our reservation so I asked what the issue was. The manager told me because I did not confirm, they were not sure they were going to hold the table. I apologized that I had not recieved a call, but asked if we could still have the table (I was there on time and could see the large table with the reservation note on it). The manager begrungenly said they would allow us to still dine with them, but they said they would not seat us until more of our party arrived. I asked if we could wait for our party at the bar, but they said they would not because every seat at the bar was taken. So just a heads up, you cannot stand at the bar, you cannot stand around the restaurant, and they do not have a place to sit and wait for your table, you just have to stand outside (I'm sure it has to do with safety or firecodes, I didn't argue, we waited outside until people at the bar left). Once we were seated, the staff was not friendly. Wondering if we should leave or not, I called a friend who works near the building who frequents this place often on what I should do. He told me to go back inside and that the staff would be nice. When I returned, a new server came to our table with a tray of shots and said they would be taking care of us for the rest of the evening. I figured maybe the manager and that other server was just having a bad day, my friend must have called the restaurant and asked his most trusted server to help us, and enjoyed the rest of our evening. I didn't want to risk it another bad experience, so I haven't returned since. A few months ago during the whole Cesar Chavez news broke out, that friend who frequented the place went with another friend to the Botonist and was talking about the news while they were dining. The manager overheard. Later when my friends were getting ready to leave, the manager started becoming upset with my friends and told my guy friend, "I HOPE SOMEBODY R*PES YOU". Stunned, he asked her to repeat herself and she did. My friends left. The chefs and building are wonderful, but obviously something needs to be done about the management and staff with being professional and treating customers with respect. I've worked in the service industry and understand how stressful it can be, but I have always been able to keep my cool around people who are trying to enjoy a nice meal. Hoping they recieve the help they need as I love to see my community thrive.

The food was fantastic. On a Friday and Saturday night, they offer a prime rib special. The plate itself ran about $52. But it was well worth it. The prime rib absolutely melted in your mouth.
