Went for the first time tonight with my family. It,was,a total of eight of us. Our server Acelynn handled our big party extremely well. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and helped us figure out how things worked. She advised us at the start that it would be about a three hour experience and she was spot on. I'd say the time between courses could've been faster but it did give us time to interact with each other. The food itself was pretty good. They have started charging customers a "technology fee" for their technical devices. Why the heck would the customers have to pay more for your electronics equipment when the food is already expensive? I just ate there (alone). Made a reservation for Mothers Day, no where on their website did they say they had a "set menu" and you couldn't order off their regular menu. After taking our drink order, our waitress informed us that we could only order off the set menu. This menu had nothing I would eat. I'm allergic to fish and both the main entrees had some sort of seafood on it!! And our waitress made a big deal of not being able to change or switch anything out so I wouldn't have been able to get the fish switched for something else!! I come to the melting pot at least twice a month. I always order the same thing and it's usually wonderful. Since I could not do that today, we decided to leave. Great place for a romantic date night or quality family time around a fondue pot. Highly recommend the date night special as you get to pick a cheese fondue , salads, meat fondue, and chocolate fondue. It is a long meal, but that leaves more time for conversation and quality time. We've come to this location 3 times now . Always great servers and a great time with family . Only thing kinda annoying is it's expensive and the breads seem old not fresh . Pound cake is our favorite and last visit they were very old tasting . We asked server if any were fresh and she said that's all they had . Rice crispies also kinda old tasting . If you are here for the gimmicky experience and it's your first time, you might like it or not. You cook everything table side. The lighting is a bit too dim. I guess they are aiming for a romantic atmosphere. It's hard to see if your food is cooked or not. Even with the timer, I ended up cooking my steak well done. I prefer medium rare. With it to dim, I can't tell. Also I ended up always over cooking the shrimp. Once you've been here is really nothing special about fondue. This is my 4th time and the excitement wore off after the first time. Is it over priced? For small bite slices of sirloin, chicken, pork, shrimp $59 + $5 or the steak only $59 + $7 (sirloin 3 different style (garlic pepper/ teriyaki / bourbon glaze) All You Can Eat (AYCE just main course only) probably not. For that price they should use better cuts of meat. For 2 people with a $30 tip, the check was a little under $179. Was it worth it? No, I could go up the street to Rodizio Grill for better cuts of meat for $50 less for two and you get a filet (tenderloins) and you don't have to cook anything. Better yet at HQ Korean BBQ and Hotpot was a better value for less than $100 for two. The AYCE main course is only available Monday - Thursday until August 1, 2024. It's better to be here before 6pm because they close at 9pm. We arrived at 7pm and felt a bit rushed. Service and cooking time takes away from your eating time. It just felt I ate for less than 30 minutes with waiting time (mostly waiting for the food to cook or the fondue or grill to heat up totaled about 1.5 hours). I basically ended up having 2 refills. The refill amount is very small. I would advise to order something else when your order arrives. If you never been here, at least try it once. The experience is as gimmicky as a hibachi grill less the show. You either love it or "ehh, been there done that" kinda of experience. Perfect for a romantic date, or celebrating an anniversary. However, it can be a bit pretentious if you've both already been here. I gave it 3 stars because of our server Lindsay. She was great - very friendly. Overall: Okay hear me out, I've seen some good reviews and some bad ones. Our server was Jack and it was honestly the best customer service I've gotten, They knew in advance that it was date night and set the table with roses and candles, and the ambience in general is very romantic The food is amazing especially the Chocolate Fondue at the end. Please remember this is supposed to be an event, it's supposed to be at least 2 hours because you have to cook your food, most of these reviews complain about how long it takes, but the courses are supposed to be a while to self cook, this won't be a fast meal. Decided to spend Mother's Day here. 4 generations at that!! It was a total waste of money!! Upon arrival we explained to the waiter that we had not visited a melting pot before, so we had no idea what to do or what to expect. The only thing he explained to us was that he was going to melt the cheese other than that, he brought our meat out, sat it on the table with a pot of water And walked away. He came back about five minutes later with a paper, telling us to scan it for the cooking times of our meats and walked away again. we had no idea what to do how to do it nothing it was a total disaster. We never got refills on our drinks. only when we asked him he would come to the Table to pick up or to swap out the pots for different items such as cheese, the water or the chocolate, but never refilled or brought out new sodas until we asked. And I know our experience was not good after looking over at other tables of people getting everything explained to them as the other waitresses were bringing out the food items they took their time and explained step by step. My daughter also has back problems, we asked if we could sit in a booth because it was cushioned to her back. they said no, even though our waiter had tables inside and out where we were sitting. we seen empty tables inside but it was explained to us that those customers picked those inside tables. I asked a few couples, they said no they did not pick those tables. so they lied to us about that!!! One more thing just came to mind. We also saw a fryer. Which was never offered to us. we had to boil our salmon and steak, which I have never heard of, but because I was new to the experience, I thought it was something you had to do. read more

We did the "Oktoberfest" special. It was very good, absolutely no question on that. Value and portions were a bit lacking though. Party of two, we were shorted a bit on the cheese fondue as we ran out about 2/3 of the way through our "dippers". Really left us wanting more. (We are not a big couple either 140 lbs and 130 lbs). Chocolate fondue was awesome. Only wish they got the portions a bit more correct. Salad comes out AFTER the entree? The hostess asked us when we arrived and again I told her yes, mushrooms. When we ordered, we got mushrooms. Aggravating. We ordered the broth cook style with shrimp and chicken. The chicken wasn't looking too good, but also the broth which was supposed to be vegetable broth was so spicy we couldn't even eat our food. Okay so I've always wanted to go here but our location closed down before I had a chance to experience. So we went here for the Easter dinner experience and it was decent. For the amount they charge for me it was definitely not worth it. So I know they try to make the ambiance I guess romantic but man the dim lighting makes it very hard to see not only the menu but also the doneness of your meats. It was such a drag trying to cook my meats in the pot and then trying to determine if It was fully cooked or not since I could hardly see. The cheese fondue was okay nothing to brag about. It came with assorted breads, apples, carrots broccoli and tomatoes. The next course was salads and the bacon and blue was great, as I love blue and Gorgonzola cheeses. It was just a little overdressed but still good. Next up were the meats which I had pork, beef, chicken, and shrimp. The only meat I enjoyed was the chicken and shrimp. We also had salmon, beef, teriyaki beef and mushroom ravioli. And the best part of that was the salmon. The cook of choice was the one that contained wine and mushrooms. It did have flavor but I wish we would have chosen frying or grilling option. I think it would have tasted better texturally and it would been easier to tell if it was cooked. Finally dessert. We chose the banana foster white chocolate and dulce de leche. It came with pound cake, assorted fruits, assorted marshmallows, brownies, and I added on some macaroons (for an extra fee) it came with 2 one chocolate and one raspberry. Overall, it's overrated and pricey. Since I have had to opportunity to experience I probably won't come back. Came to take my friends out as a celebration, the hostess asked us if we were okay with sitting in the bar area and we said okay. I wouldn't have said yes if I knew we would get horribly slow service with the bartender making drinks most of the night and coming over to us every now and then. On top of that I told the hostess we had a gluten allergy, but the server didn't know or bring out gluten free options unless asked to. When we got our cookies and cream chocolate fondue, he put the Oreos in the chocolate and when we told him no we can have them he just scooped them out and left. I couldn't eat the chocolate because of the contamination, but with the super slow service didn't bother to ask for a new one since we were now late to an event. There is NEVER an excuse for a server to be lazy, haughty, or unkempt. Tell your team to do it right, or go elsewhere. Poor lighting, tables too high for chair height, inadequate grill, bland meats, incorrect toppings, and the list goes on. The common thread I see is the unwillingness of PAYING CUSTOMERS to tell their server to SEND THE MANAGER.....and then address any terrible service, poor attitudes, or unsat food quality with him/her. No patron should ever hesitate to SPEAK UP. It is not considered unacceptable to call out bad service or crappy attitudes. If an order is wrong...send it back, do NOT at sonething you don't want...and certainly do not pay for it. If the server is adversarial....get the manager. If a table is bad...change tables. If they won't move you...walk out. Prices are ridiculously high...but it seems service and motivation have taken a dive. It is YOUR hard-earned money. Don't give it away to any establishment that is not willing to earn it. Often, the manager may not know about many unsat issues. Tell them personally... Managers...and especially OWNERS...should appreciate info they should pass to their employees at a training session or one-on-one with a server or chef/cook. The booth next to us( unseen) chimed in that they agreed; we were told that it was how it was done and people ask for extras! We showed him the menu and he insisted we did have parmesean dusted pine nuts- they were candied pecans!
