While visiting for the weekend, we decided to try Jordan Valley for some Mediterranean cuisine and were really glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the experience was excellent. Our server, Emileigh, was incredibly helpful and patiently walked us through the menu, offering great recommendations that made it easy to decide what to try. Her guidance definitely made the experience even better. The ambiance of the restaurant was very enjoyable as well. It wasn't too loud, which made it easy to relax and have a conversation, and they also offer outdoor patio seating for those who want to enjoy their meal outside. Be sure to try the fried cheese appetizer and the tabouli salad. Both were outstanding. Our meal portions were generous, and the food was fresh and absolutely delightful. Overall, a wonderful meal with great service. We'd happily return the next time we're in town. read more

What a nice addition to the west side of town. I love lamb and order it whenever I get a chance. The lamb platter was listed on the menu as "cutlets" , but were actually lamb chops. The meat was tender and flavorful. The meat was cooked exactly how I ordered it. I loved it! And lots of food is served on that platter. My friend ordered the beef platter, which she said was just ok. It looked good to me and, again, lots of food. In spite of her not being too enthusiastic about her meal, I'm giving the restaurant 5 stars as my meal was fantastic. Very clean restaurant and very attentive service. read more

The OG location on Jefferson Street is our go to most favorite restaurant in town, especially after events, so tonight after attending a show at the Saenger we decided to try the new location. I like the size of the patio and the inside is well done, but the food doesn't compare at al.l The menu is super scaled back and they don't have my favorite tandoori chicken so I went with the Shawarma Platter, my niece had the Chicken Shish (normally a favorite!) and we shared the gyro & feta eggrolls. Service was fast, and the eggrolls came out quickly. They were smaller than expected but you get three, at Jefferson Street they come with a chili sauce, here it's just tzatziki. These were the best bites of the night, 8/10. My shawarma platter was beautiful but low on flavor, and it was quite dry. 6/10. The rice tasted boxed and was quite clumpy. The salad was generous, and the hummus was the perfect texture although whatever the green stuff (shatta maybe) on top was ruined it for my niece. I thought it tasted good but completely different than expected. I wish the waitress or menu mentioned it so that she should have ordered it without. My niece's chicken shish tasted exactly like my shawarma just in a different shape, which was huge dry chunks. Everything else was the same. 5/10. Sadly the overall determination was that if we didn't already have Jefferson Street as a frame of reference this would be our first and last time with Jordan Valley. We aren't planning to return to this new location any time soon although the waitress did tell us the devastating news that Jefferson is closing by the end of the year. Hopefully the cooks and menu will come to this new spot,. Otherwise I'll have to find a new favorite place:(. read more

The inside seating is a bit small. However, it's very open and very clean. Parking is free and plenty for of space. Service was very pleasant and friendly. Their price's are reasonable and the food tastes great. I recommend it. read more

I mean the food is awesome ! But please dear God we don't need overhead lights overpowering the lovely crystal chandeliers that are here ... I swear I needed my damn sunglasses on !!! If those damn overheads were off it would've been a way nicer experience... please at least dim those recessed lights ... I wish I had my sunglasses or at least a hat with a brim. WAY TOO BRIGHT I'm giving 4 stars because the food is awesome! But please fix these lights !!! read more

Went to Jordan Valley restaurant today for lunch. I actually thought the restaurant had closed its doors but glad to find out that they are still open and actually have two locations. Hadn't been here in over two years so I wanted to try the chicken shawarma to see if it was still good and it did not disappoint. The food was filled with flavors from the Middle East and Mediterranean regions of the world and presented very nicely. Also had some fries and they were tasty as well. The staff was very friendly and were the ones to let me know that they had multiple locations. Overall menu was pretty decent. The restaurant was decorated very nicely and even had an outdoor dining area where, for those of you who indulge, can smoke hookah with or after your meal!! Overall I was pleased and will definitely go again. My only issue was I think that it is slightly overpriced!! read more

One of my favorite places to eat in Pensacola. The food is great, and very friendly staff.

Went here for the first time with my husband. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the lamb kabab and my husband order the gyro. The meat was SO tender and juicy! Sometimes I feel like kababs can be dry but this was definitely not the case here. We took the order to go and it came out in maybe 10-15 minutes. Food quality was amazing, flavors were beautiful and staff were extremely friendly. They were happy to answer any questions about the menu. I'm glad we stopped in after passing it so many times. I wish we would have gone sooner. Will be back very soon! read more
