It's been quite a while since I received a recommendation from an Uber driver to try this place. I was always happy to visit Taste of Jerusalem, that is until the ownership change; it just not the same as it used to be! Anyway, we wanted Mediterranean food and decided to finally give In & Out a try. Boy am I glad we did. This place is fantastic! We ordered the In & Out Platter which serves two and includes steak, kufta, and chicken served over rice along with falafel, sides, and sauces. The kids had a chicken tender kid meal and a gyro wrap. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service is fine. You order at the counter and if you're eating in they will bring your food to you. They don't really provide full service, so if you need anything you'll probably need to go back to the counter to request whatever it is you need. But, overall it was fine. With regard to the dining environment, it is rather small with just a handful of tables. The decor is appropriate for the type of restaurant it is and they keep the place pretty clean. After finally visiting, I'm sure we'll be back. The food is definitely worth five stars! read more

Well I've been thinking about coming to get a gyro for sometime and always think you judge a spot by their hummus. Well I don't want be that person but it's not so great the food was very bland and just not that good I was disappointed with everything. The service was sub par my order came out and the girl said oh I forgot here. I was the only person waiting. The place was small but looked clean. Disappointed won't go back sorry guys. read more

I travel to the Middle East often with work, and this food is excellent in comparison! It's an order at the front and seat yourself type of place, so extremely casual. It was also clean and the service was warm and friendly. We ordered two appetizer sample plates as well as baklava to include felafels, takziti, hummus, house salad, yalanji, and fried halloumi. Everything was very good. My favorite was felafel, fried halloumi, and yalanji. The felafel was out of this world, firm and hard crust and moist and steamy in the middle with a rich flavor. The fried cheese (halloumi) was a similar contrast of texture and flavor of fried cheese. The only thing that did not blow me away was the baklava - it was still good, just not something I would likely order again, nor is it the best I've had. Overall pretty good. I ordered the In & Out Platter. The online menu for this dish states: Steak kabob, Chicken kabobS, Kafta kabobS. "S" means like plural to me What I received was: Steak kabob, chicken kabob, kafta kabob, one of each. Now I don't know if this was a misprint, a mistake or perhaps I don't know what a kabob is? (unlikely), but I can read and expect to receive what the menu offers. And... Our table cleanliness left a little to be desired. Those 2 minor issues aside, (dinged 1 star for each) the food and the service were very good and I would eat there again. Let's hope the owner reads this and corrects this stuff read more

I travel for work, so I eat out a LOT. Since I can't leave my work site, I have to order in a lot of my meals. Today one of my co-workers suggested we order from here, and I am glad we did because their food is delicious, and the portions were generous. I got an order of baba ganoush and a gyro. First off, the pita bread was warm, soft and very good. The baba ganoush was smoky, full of pieces of eggplant, and, dare I say, creamy...? I thoroughly enjoyed it. The well-seasoned gyro meat along with lettuce, tomato and their tzatziki sauce was wrapped in one of these great pita breads and topped with feta cheese. Yum. This review is not about the quality of their food, rather about the the quality of their delivery service. Today, 7 August 2025, my department at work placed a delivery order for lunch. When the delivery arrived multiple items were missing. From sauces, gyros, and drinks. This was not one order was missed completely, rather a couple of times from several orders. Here is the real issue; when we called them back and informed them of the discrepancies they stated that would make up for the missing items but we would have to pick it up. Well we work in a cardiac procedure lab and if we could break away we would have picked it up from the start. So, this was a large order, multiple mistakes on their part, and they did not meet the minimum expectation of a restaurant trying to earn a reputation worth sharing with friends or co workers. read more

Absolutely loved this place! I got the kebab meal (with all these types), garlic sauce (a must for dipping the kebabs), tazaki, hummus and baba ganoush for sides/dipping and it was so delicious. It also comes with tons of really tasty rice, 4 perfect falafels and 2 pitas. The meal is for 2 but I ate it for 4/5 separate meals and next time won't share it with anyone either bc it's sooooooo good! Staff was super friendly and sweet. Finally a place that was really very good food ever since driving all the way from California with my dog in tow to Florida. As you can see from the picture that they give you a lot of food here and the three most important aspect to me always are the quality, the taste, and the freshness of the food and this chicken kabob plate passed all three with flying colors. When you eat food like this you just feel whole heartedly better afterwards and you know that you're eating good and healthy food opposed to fatty, oily, and unhealthy processed food that is unfortunately so common in so many American restaurants through out all of the United States these days. Well darn! I was hoping for a better review than I am going to be able to give. I had high hopes since the reviews are so good....My wife loves, loves, loves Mediterranean food and she was super pumped to try In & Out Kitchen. It is located in a somewhat sketch part of town, but El Asador is across the street, and everybody goes to El Asador. The inside is clean but there is a rundown soda dispenser on one wall and a broken display cooler along the front counter. It's a fast casual sitch where you order at the counter and then find a seat. Our food was brought to us, but the lady at the counter asked for a name, so I assume that when busy they just yell for you to pick it up. The food was good. It just wasn't great. I ordered a Gyro Wrap and Helen got a Falafel Wrap. We shared an Appetizer Sampler with Hummus, Baba Ganoush, and Yalanji (grape leaves). The hummus and the Baba Ganoush were pretty much the same color and consistency but the Baba Ganoush had the characteristic smokey flavor to set it apart from the hummus. The hummus was very creamy and tasty without the slightest amount of grit. The grape leaves were ok. but not the greatest that I have had. They were dense like the ones out of a can, but didn't have the strange dents in them from getting stuffed on top of one another into a can. My point being I couldn't tell if they are made fresh in house or not. I didn't ask. Helen said her falafel wrap was fine. She likes the one at Mr. Shawarma better. If you've ever been to Saba in New Orleans you know that Alon Shaya makes the best falafel on this side of the world. It will ruin you. And we have eaten it. So neither of us are the best people to ask about local falafel. My gyro wrap was pretty good. I liked that it wasn't ginormous. The meat to other fillings ratio was nice The feta was a little overpowering and the meat was all homogeneously cut in size and thickness, suggesting it did not get cut off a döner but instead was the pre-cut frozen variety of gyro meat. The chef may just be extremely experienced and very good at cutting meat off a döner. I don't know. The meat did have a good amount of char to it and that uped the flavor a bit. I would say In & Out Kitchen is a good addition to this side of town. I don't know that I'll travel so far from home to eat here again though. A little maintenance here could go a long way. read more

We tried this for the first time this week while out shopping with my daughter... and we both loved it! We share the In & Out Platter which included chicken, steak and kufta on rice along with a pita, falafel, garlic sauce & tatziki, plus two sides (we chose the green salad & hummus). Everything was freshly made and although you order at a counter, the food is actually brought to your table on lovely plates. The owner/chef served us which made it feel like we were being welcomed into his home. If you have a chance, this place is worth a try! I don't think you will be disappointed! read more

This place is more like 3.5. Here are Good and bad... gyro was tasty and food was fresh overall. Service was ok. Two people working when I went and I could tell they were short staffed. I saw quite a few take out orders. Plenty of parking spaces. Now the bad- My gyro took like 30mins. It's unacceptable! I could see they were struggling to push the food out but you can't have customer wait there for 25mins for a simple gyro. Also don't put the stuff on the menu if you don't have it. If sold out then tell the customer upfront instead of having them keep guessing what's AVAILABLE. Pro tip- order ahead regardless you eat there or not. Just plan a head. read more

This restaurant served me the best meal I've eaten in a long time from an establishment. We went in as newcomers and it seemed to be a family orientated restaurant which was a plus. The cashier was super sweet and even the chef came out and asked us how it was in which we bragged on how good it was to him.
