It's unfortunate that my cousin and I was treated with such disrespect by I am assuming was the owner or manager. I am visiting from Los Angeles and I asked my cousin to take me to this lounge because I frequent Hookah lounges in LA. After, the kind female allowed us entrance, we didn't even step 5 steps in the door b4 this man turned us away and asked us to leave. I have no other reason to think that was because we were black. He didn't have enough time to base it on anything else. It's unfortunate because he is a foreigner...not sure exactly of what country but it really bothers me when brown foreigners judge and think they are better than brown Americans. However, that is not my point, I personally support all, but it upset me to think we were judged and refused service based on seconds of seeing us, not speaking with us...just seeing us. Additional background, I'm female, my cousin is male. He is a MD and I'm a PhD... also doesn't matter, however this man judge us on seconds of looking at us. I would highly suggest that all people do not support this business, that people give their hard earned money to businesses who have people who respect all! This is the dirtiest and nastiest bar I ever been to. The furniture is dirty and old. The air conditioning leaks on the tv and church pew LOL. The drinks are way overpriced and completely watered down. Not the best place to go to. The music was really good though. read more

Down here on a quick vacay and decided to go and smoke some hookah. Took an Uber up the street being it was about 3 miles from the hotel. The flavor of shisha decisions is pretty decent but the sitting isn't the best. It's like they went into a church that was closing and took the pews out and put them in this building. Also having to sit with groups of people that you don't know and have to pass thru there party in order to get up and or sit down. No bueno. Pretty much one of the only places like this around so that's why it was chosen. Like I said the flavors are good and the pricing is decent as well. It used to be a staple of mine, this place. I knew the owners, they were cool. The workers were nice. But due to having a crazy life, it's been about a year since the last time I was there. I now know no one. The service was really slow. We ordered and waited for maybe 20 minutes before the hookah finally came. Two Asian guys who seem to be working there were sitting around smoking their own hookah. Red wine was served out of the fridge. Am no wine connoisseur but that doesn't seem right. The music alternated from too loud to talk to normal volume. We're not here to sit and stare at each other while listening to loud music. We're here to talk. Please allow people to do so by turning the music to a reasonable volume. It was a Sunday for Christ's sake. The plus side is that they upgraded to the larger mouthpieces that makes it easier to suck smoke out and the hookah seemed easy to smoke and well-serviced. That might have been a minus as my throat didn't feel too great for the rest of the week from all that easy smoke sucking. The reason this place lost my vote is that the bill is SKETCHY. A large hookah with two people is $20. Wine is $4.5 and we got two. The total should have been around $29. I got a NON-ITEMIZED receipt for $37.50. Adding a hefty tip for themselves (which they do) and taxes should still not be $8.5 extra on top of $29. To do so without informing the customer or providing transparency through a real receipt instead of one that just lists the total is shady business practice, borderline fraudulent. I didn't want to make a scene by asking for an itemized bill so I just paid it but left with a bad feeling and probably won't be coming here anymore. read more

It's one of the first Hookah bars in Fort Walton Beach and I'm glad they opened one up. Open late night hours, a good study place for those late night readers and last minute test crammers. They offer alcohol, water, and juice for their beverages. Small hookah for $12.99 and large for $15. They offer a military discount and the staff is great at explaining how it works for the new people. Fave flavors for now are strawberry watermelon, double apple, peaches, and sometimes apple mint. They have belly dancers on the weekends from 8pm-11pm, a pool table in the back, and more than enough space for the late night hookah lounger to chill. They're not offering food yet but when they do, whoa nelly I will be so there for dinner. read more

We was having a great time and the workers closed our bill out and when they closed the bill out they said we have 5 minutes left. We wasn't finished with our hookah and the owner told us we had to leave. According to the operating hours we had 1 hour left. The owner is very rude and I will never go back to that establishment again. He told us we can go to the hookah bar next door but I wouldn't be surprised if he owned that too. He said he didn't care if we didn't come back or if we wrote a bad review on his business. He then had the nerve to tell us we can come back tomorrow after we spent over $70 and couldn't finish what we paid for. He had the nerve to say there wasn't anyone in the establishment when it was 5 of us and 4 people walked in and he kicked them out too. I will NEVER go back. My friends and I came into this establishment to enjoy the vibe and hang out for a bit. We ordered and paid for our drinks and had a seat. Not even 10 minutes later, the owner comes up to us and tells us that if we're not going to order hookah then we can't sit there. I asked "so where are we supposed to sit so we can finish our drinks?" And his response was "go sit outside" (it was raining) . At that point , we got up and left. That is absolutely NO way to treat paying customers! Yes, it's a hookah lounge however not everybody actually smokes hookah. Some of us just go for the drinks (which are poor quality and nasty anyway) and to enjoy the music and people. I will NEVER step foot in this building again, especially not with the owner treating customers like that. They're lucky they are the only hookah lounge in this area because if somebody opens up another one with even a quarter more respect and couth , hookah corner would be out of business. This place can go to h*ll. I'm not saying this because of my one bad experience here... I've been here multiple times. First and foremost the owner hits women! My friends and I had a great time for the 1st hour or so. A young lady came to our table to ask if the music was ok and we told her we would like to hear a mix of music (they were only playing Spanish music which we don't speak) so the lash controlling the music played different types of music for a while then she stopped and only played Spanish. We let it play for at least 10 songs and reminded the owner to keep it mixed and he agreed. He then came to our table and offered my friend to play the music from phone for the last hour they would be open. She played maybe 1.5 songs before they kept switching it back to Spanish. Then a young man approached our table jokingly asking about the music. Next thing the owner is back at the table taking to my friend about it the music and stated that he said she was able to play it on her phone then all of a sudden he started yelling at her and telling her to sit down!! Then proceeded yell at her. He got in her wife's face and PUSHED her!! Then all his employees came to pull him back and it was pure chaos! Shortly after he's arguing with my friend again and he HITS her so she punched him and his glasses came off. We were already trying to leave and he wasn't trying to let us leave. Kept saying he was calling the police and we couldn't leave. E was literally trying to chase my friend down to get her. A WOMAN!!! I had to pull him back by the back of his shirt! It was ridiculous. All because they OFFERED to allow us to play our music! I would not recommend at all. This man doesn't know anything about owning a business and how to conduct himself!! I went here to watch a friend Belly Dance, yes... they have Belly Dancers on fridays. The name is funny. Try asking for directions to the Hookah Corner and try not to get slapped. By the way it is down town on 98 right across from the Indian Mound. It is a cool laid back atmosphere, hookah seems good, there is a limited menu of Mediterranean stuff. Could use another server, but the one there was new and working her ass of. My only complaint is there is only beer and wine. no liquor. So no rum and Coke. That makes me sad. read more

Abdul hooked my friend and I all the way up. He not only helped us pick but he allowed us to smell the flavors and decide which we would prefer. He would check on us a lot and make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time also. They play good rap music that you can rap along to and a chill pool area in the back. Had to go to the bar twice to remind them. The coals were terrible & it took about 20 minutes to get new ones. When we finally got fresh coals the hookah was decent. I had went once about 3 weeks ago with my husband and a bunch of his military friends and even though I didn't smoke they had a blast.So I wanted to have some fun too!Well first thing we came in recently it was PACKED which I expected so we asked if we could pay for a session and come back.The waitress or whomever said no they should be free in 30 minutes or so.No big deal we went and got some food and came back..still packed but luckily one seating area was free,one closest to the elevated one,lucky us!But we waited for roughly 5 minutes before we were noticed.A girl came and seated us and explained how the prices are set etc,sounded good.My husband asked her what tobacco brand they use bc he is quite picky,poor girl I thought and scolded him a bit but she got back to us and told us it was by a brand he wasn't really fond of so we asked her what she would suggest for something really sweet and fruity she suggest mango and cherry mix,sounded good..we were wrong. I don't know if whoever packed the bowl screwed up but it was the nastiest harshist smoke ever! We all smoke A LOT.Hookah,cigars,e-cigs,etc and we could not smoke this longer than 3 minutes tops.We tried purging the chamber which helped a TINY bit but still after not even 20 minutes we could not smoke without our throats feeling like it was being ripped open.We told the girl and she went to go "fix" the bowl,it didn't work. We decided to leave not even being there 35 minutes.I felt like it was a waste of money.I think it may have just been a bad bowl packing method or to much heat who knows but it was definitely a miss this time. I do like the feel of the overall decor even though our table was dirty before we even started smoking and the tvs mostly play youtube vids of smoke tricks on repeat basically. I came in to get a cigar for 4th of July festivities and I had my 9 yr old son with me. Lady told me to get out and that I could not bring kids in. I was furious cause all I wanted to do what get my cigar and leave. I even knew which one I wanted. At first I was mad at the state if fl cause I thought maybe that's a state law. The best (and only) place to hookah in the area. Even when I'm out of state or TDY I miss this place. It's nice and chill in the early hours of you want to hang out and talk, later in the evenings it's gets a little louder and livelier and they have belly dancers and stuff. Service is top notch. We ordered four hookahs and we had to have two of them exchanged because they did not work properly. Even after they were exchanged, one still was not working. Gross. Trying to enjoy my first weekend in the area on NYE and we ordered two frozen Margaritas (with wine because they don't serve liquor FYI) and there were three little ants in my Margarita. They stood out as clearly black spots that were not throughout the drink and were not in my boyfriend's drink. I could even see the legs on them. My boyfriend took the drinks back and also cancelled our hookah order and he was told by an employee/owner (I'm not sure) that they were not bugs. Also, the seats look filthy. It's an okay place to hang out. The atmosphere isn't bad, but the lack of service was disappointing. The first time I was there, it was just alright. There was fresh coals, and the price was decent. However, the second time I was there, the prices had been jacked up. The service was terrible and I was given used coals. Not to mention, the prices of the drinks were absolutely overpriced. I could go to the bar down the street and spend half the amount I did here. Overall, I spent $40-50 for just two people. Alright I used to come here all the time a couple years ago and most of the time it was a great experience . We walk in around 11:50ish where there's a couple customers. The girl working there looked annoyed and walked over to our table claiming "oh I was gonna close soon when you guys walked in so I'm gonna get you one flavor." Okay we ignored the rudeness. Then when we were waiting for her to come back around , to bring more coals and beer, we couldn't find this girl anywhere. She was actually sleeping one of the times we were looking for her in the cushions. Last time I checked you don't tell customers you are wanting to leave almost two hours early so you give poor service.
