YUM! What a great dinner for our family! We went early (around 5pm on a Friday night) and there was plenty of seating. We got everything from Blackened Grouper Sandwich to Coconut Fried Fish Bites to Chicken Tenders and every single person loved their meal. Seating had a variety of options as well as a fun beach area. The servers were kind and helpful and Junior made sure our visit was amazing. If you're looking for an open air place to eat, grab a drink and relax on the water, this is your place. They have plenty of parking & seating. It an order your food at the bar and they bring it out kind of place but the food is fantastic. I got the salad with grilled grouper. The atmosphere is awesome however when I eat, I base the weight of the review on the food. All three dishes were served cold. Shrimp tacos, grilled cheese, and mahi mahi tacos. The food came fairly quickly based on the amount of people, but all the food was cold, not just one dish. The price for what you get is on the high side of tourist district pricing. read more

The place is adorable. The service is good, but pricing is more in line with a sit down restaurant than a stand in line and find a table to wait place. The bar drinks were great and the service was excellent. The crab legs were cooked perfectly and the pricing was fair. Unfortunately, the butter was not good (don't think it was clarified) and tasted a bit like cheese. The potatoes and corn were not seasoned. If you like seasoning, you're going to have to bring your own. I don't even think they used salt, and I'm not a salty foods person. There's nowhere to sit inside and they don't have patio heaters so keep that in mind for cool nights. You want to be sure to have warm clothes. read more

Cafeteria style 'order here and we'll bring it out to you'. Food is so-so and drinks are massively overpriced. The view is great, and there's a volleyball pit over to the side. Ample seating, but all tables are huge. You're not getting a private table for two when this place is hopping. For reference: seasonal adult beverage was piña colada - $11; a double Titos and water with lime (great summer beverage, BTW) - $18. That's a whole bottle, people. Bring it down a notch, this ain't Paris. Nice to stop by and glad I checked it off my list as it was recommended by a friend, but won't be back. read more

What a great spot near Destin!!! We came here twice. Once for lunch after a day at the Gulfarium and the second on our way to the airport. The vibe is like a cool, surf-style beach restaurant on the bay. The restaurant itself is made out of bright blue shipping containers. All the seating is outdoor (except for what seems to be an event space upstairs). There are tons of seating - many under large umbrellas. You order at a window and they bring everything out to you. We had the mahi tacos both times (what can I say, they were good!) and my son had the grilled cheese. We added queso and beans and rice. Queso was excellent!! Beans needed some seasoning. They also have a dock you can pull your boat up to and sand volleyball courts. There is also a nice park close by. If we go back to Destin, we will be stopping by...this time on a boat! read more

Beautiful place in the Bay Area so peaceful and serene came here visiting from Birmingham Al looking for something delicious to eat once we figured out what we wanted we got in line & ordered food the service was friendly and the wait for the food wasn't long at all we ordered crab boils the shrimp bowl & the snapper blt the crab boils were pretty good however the corn & potatoes were dry & overcooked my snapper was fried extremely hard & not enjoyable and make sure you ask for extra aioli because I didn't taste much & it made the sandwich very dry the shrimp tasted a little funky and it did indeed mess one of our guests stomach up later on the expresso martini was the best thing out of everything we had if you're looking for drinks & a nice scenery this us your spot I suggest getting food elsewhere unless you're willing to pay double price for something that may or may not be good read more

We loved the gulf! Here on vacation and heard this was a good spot. Was a little worried about the heat and happy to learn of the indoor, air conditioned seating upstairs. Also really appreciated that it was WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. As someone in my party uses a wheelchair. The food was amazing. You can't go wrong with the tacos. Service was also good. Our food came out quickly and the crew members who brought it to us had no trouble running back and forth for condiments etc. If it's not too hot it's a great place for kids to stretch their legs. read more

We loved the view and the food! The entire atmosphere is lovely. My kids enjoyed getting to feed the fish. The seafood boil was really good, everything was fresh. The crab meat came out easily. My husband loved the sausage. We ended up splitting the boil and it was plenty. Lots of potatoes. Lots of seating space but limited menu. I wanted to rate this place higher;however, my experience was underwhelming. The restaurant is right on the water which makes for a beautiful view but they advertise themselves as "pet friendly " and offer nothing for pets. I specifically chose this place because I had my dog with me. There wasn't any food items for dogs, no water bowls etc. Granted I had those items in the car but usually when an establishment says "pet friendly " they offer something. The food was good , I ordered the mahi mahi tacos in a bowl. I actually liked the style of dining but I wish there was more.
