Voodoo Pizza

The inside is good but the outside is even better! Heaters and fans! Darius was a sweet waiter and the food and hookah were great! Wonderful experience!

Margarita Pizza

The food and service were both mediocre. I got the Margarita Pizza which had an aftertaste and the tomatoes on it were not good. My husband got the shawarma, which he said was okay. Our waitress was okay on the niceness level but she would leave and take forever to come back to check on us. She would go sit at the bar and scroll her phone in between visits. Several of them would sit at the bar on their phone while working. The vibe of the place was fine, dark and moody in there. It's not a place we'll go to again.

THE YELP COUPON OFFERED HERE for $5 off WAS REFUSED BY MANAGER ON MAY 4, 2023 Crazy as we were a table with 1 check and it was only $5 - Yelp please remove the offer here in their app

Ollie's G&k or something. It's good. Just get it. Danny made it good

Much better than I recall. Food was good. Drinks were nice. Vibe on a Sunday was real chill, mellow and comfy. I'll be back ( In my Arnold voice ) Lol

Shawarma Plate

This was one of our favorite places but the quality and selection has declined and the prices are outrageous. Service was mediocre too. Not sure where to start, we had spaghetti which was $15 on the menu. It was served with what looked like canned tomato sauce and meatballs were $6 up-charge, making it $21 for spaghetti, really?? The shawarma plate tasted okay, but not at nearly $25, come on. I could see $15 maybe but it definitely wasn't worth the price. Their are other Mediterranean eateries in Mobile that have much better food at better prices. Get pasta and want to add a chicken breast, how about $7. The menu has changed, much pricier and selections removed. This used to be one of our favorites but I don't see us going back for a loooong time if ever.

If you're looking for a good Mediterranean place to eat, Ollie's is a good place to go. Includes a very nice outside area. Good service.

The server was amazing, and that is the only reason I upped it to two stars. We got a hookah and it did not even taste like fruity pebbles and cost $30. If you pay with card they charge an extra 4%. I will not be coming back here.

The "large" hummus

I am so sad!!! I apologize in advance for the tirade about to ensue! I should've listened to my brother in law. He said Ollie's has changed and not for the better and I didn't listen. I hate to give bad reviews. I won't usually write a review if I am going to complain (I just tell you where the good stuff is) but more people need to be warned if they are looking for how things used to be at Ollie's. I used to LOVE Ollie's! You can probably also still read my old review. Sundays at Ollie's was my favorite thing ever!! So, here goes 1st up: Prices are way more and portions are way smaller. $28 for a chicken shawarma plate with no Garlic dip? It used to be like $16 and there was this amazing Garlic dip that accompanied it. Who knows what was in it! Like a Greek Skordalia but somehow creamier that any I've ever had. Gone! (My daughter says it's on the menu so maybe they forgot it?) 2nd strike: A large hummus is about a cup of hummus. (See my pic) Teensy portion for $11? Nope! and it's not as garlicky as it used to be. Absolute 3rd deal breaker: no more cream of chicken soup on Sundays. This was the most delectable substance of which I have ever been privileged to partake. Gone! The waiter said they occasionally make it but not on a regular day of the week. He had no idea when they might make it again. I will admit the chicken tasted good, but it was basically a grilled chicken breast (and not a large one- see pics) with Greekish spices on it. Take my advice and skip it. Drive just a few miles up to Airport Blvd, take a right and go to 7 spice. It's in the back of a grocery store and they give you huge portions of chicken shawarma and garlic dip and the basmati rice is so amazing! Or, if your heart isn't set on Mediterranean food, go a couple doors down to Nino's and get one of their amazing cheesesteaks. Much more affordable and extremely tasty!

As usual, my girlfriend and I were out trying a new spot and ended up at this, cozy place…read more First Impressions: It was completely empty when we walked in, not the best look at first, but it was a Thursday at 12 pm, so we figured it was just a slow time. We decided to stay, and we're glad we did. Atmosphere & Vibe: The inside is warm and homey. It feels like a spot made for a lovely date. Definitely has that family-run vibe. Service: The owner greeted us, chatted with us a bit, and made us feel welcome right away. Super friendly and laid-back. Food: I had the lasagna, and my girlfriend got the gyro and baklava. The food came out quick. Lasagna was solid, but the gyro was amazing, lamb was tender and full of flavor. The pita was slightly burnt, but it didn't ruin it. Extras: The owner brought us a free Alfredo pasta, really creamy and tasty. Then he gave us the baklava on the house and even threw in a brownie for me, saying, "The baklava is on the house and the brownie is for him." That was a nice touch. (And we were really happy that we even forgot about taking a picture) Overall: Not much from the outside, but once you're in, it's a great spot with good food and personal service. We'll definitely be back. WE LOVED THIS PLACE!!
