You get several different cheese options, we opted for the French onion cheese fondue. Comes with different breads & veggies, very good & filling. Then you get 4 different salad options, we opted for Ceasars salad. It was real good & fresh. I was going to get bacon ranch salad, but I asked if the dressing was made in house, they said no it's just ranch & they add peppercorns. No thanks. Main course is 4 pieces of filet, but I think it might have been a different cut. The sauces were real good. You also got marinated steak, it was ok but kinda weird taste. You had chicken, pork & 1 large shrimp & 1 potsticker. The chocolate turtle fondue was awesome eith several dippers. Strawberries bananas, brownies, pound cake, marshmallows. I went on a last-minute trip to Pensacola. After seeing, there was a melting pot not far from me. I had to go since the one here is closed. I sat at the bar since I was by myself and had the same great experience I've always had. I'd simply have a few drinks cheese and chocolate, and was lucky enough to catch happy hour. The bartender was awesome. He was busy, but he did his best to make sure I was taken care of even with the health department popping in. I still felt no lapse of service. read more

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE~ We were waited on by Ryan R. She was so sweet and certainly did a fine job at explaining how it worked. We didn't know we would be cooking our food until we ordered LOL but the experience was amazing and the food was DELICIOUS! We also had a couple drinks that were great, including the Love Martini. We had a very private booth and the lighting was great. It was such an intimate experience with my partner and I am excited to go back again. We got the big meal that included everything but the lobster tails. Maybe 125$? But totally worth it! We also had the Yin Yang fondue....goodness. We ate the whole thing. They also offer a lot of additional packages (like champagne, teddy bears, etc). We didn't get any of those, but we had a great time without!! We have had great meals at many Melting Pot locations and we LOVE the Destin location. The servers and staff are great. The food is super fresh, the pace is perfect, and the price is very reasonable for the experience. My son and I recently went and he badgered me to go back - I said ok, but only during Happy Hour when you get a discount. Our second meal (just days later) was just as great. The manager/owner was super nice and made us feel like special guests and appreciated - you rarely see that kind of customer service today. 3.2/5. When you come here I'd say you're paying more for the experience and less for the food so keep that in mind. The presentation of the meal given the price was not what I expected. For starters we had what looked to be a bowl of shredded cheese from a bag I would have gotten from a grocery store and that was placed into our melting pot. I get that the cheese melts better when shredded but it just had a cheap feel to it. I would have almost preferred it came out already melted. The plate of breads and such to go with the fondue was alright but be prepared to run out of cheese before you're finished with the dippers. The other thing that made it feel less special was when the main course came out I saw what were seasonings that would have just came from my kitchen salt and pepper shaker which I bought from Walmart. It would have been nice if they were in a non labeled and fancier shaker as opposed to something just grabbed off the shelf from the grocery store. The app idea was cool so that's something to appreciate. All in all, the price would feel a little more justified if some key details were noted. I'd recommend this place for a dessert or something but the experience is the only way to justify the price and that needs a bit more tweaking. read more

Had dinner here with my family on a Tuesday night. Service was great at first, but slowed down considerably as it seemed our waiter was the only waiter working and he had other tables. The overall feel of the place is depressing and it doesn't appear to be well maintained. The food was average at best which I expect better when you're paying close to $300 for dinner and that's with no alcohol. The highlight was dessert. Going back to Kane he was a very down to earth and respectful young man, very genuine as well. He was a great server and was working really hard. The waitress seemed to brush everything off as someone else's fault. It was not busy enough for the service we received. It also seemed to be well staffed. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. Or at least ensure you don't get Brandon as a server. He was awful. I wanted so badly to keep giving him a chance but his DGAF was immeasurable. I knew it was going to be bad when he first greeted us, he put a tray of someone else's dirty dishes and silverware right in front of me to take out his notepad to write our drink order down. Nasty. Then, he brought out my salad, he noticed the dressing was missing, said he'd go get it. Never did. Noticed aloud when he cleared the salad that he didn't bring the dressing but never apologized or offered to bring it again with dressing. Just took it, so I never even got to eat it. There was such a significant amount of time between each portion of our meal, that I kept wondering if he just walked out and quit. Then, just when I would be about to go look for another server or manager, he'd pop by, out of nowhere after 15-20 minutes. Never saw him attending to any other tables, in comparison to the rest of the staff that I was seeing constantly running around tending to theirs. Our dinner for 4 people took almost 3 hours from arrival to finally flagging him down and getting him to run our card. The table next to us was sat TWICE with 4 tops and both were in and out before we had even paid our bill. He brought the sauces out with a raw shrimp tail in one of them. We asked for a new one, he was very annoyed that he had to get a new one. Silverware was greasy and sticky with fingerprints all over them. Not sure if that was the restaurants fault or Brandon's. Needless to say, disgusting. This was the biggest waste of money ever, all $301.78 of it for 4 people and I will never go back or recommend anyone else go there for that matter. read more

This was such a lovely date spot. We were walked into our own little room where we enjoyed cooking our own food and choosing our own flavors to dip it in. We enjoyed salmon, shrimp, pasta, tuna, chicken, beef, and vegetables. Our server was very sweet and thoughtful and brought extra desserts to dip. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience even though I almost always dread going to Melting Pot ...and I've been plenty of times; even to the original one in Maitland so many years ago back home in Orlando. I don't want to be a spoil sport but I'm going to be and say that I usually have a really hard time throwing a hundred dollar bill at a small crudités platter and some cheese, boiling up some tid bits of meat, and a few dippy nibbles of dessert. ...but when someone gives you a prescription for happiness, you fill it without complaint and you come here when they ask you to and while I thought I put a good distance between me and this place in my divorce; damn it our daughter has somehow discovered the joy of fondue. Me and hubby decided to date night here. Overall is was a good experience. It was our first time at melting pot so we got the big night out. We tried the Wisconsin cheddar dip which was okay. I had the California salad. The entree included shrimp, chicken, two types of steak, salmon and ravioli. IMO the salmon and chicken were the best. For desert we went with the flaming turtle and I'd have to say that was my favorite part of the experience. I definitely would come again for desert for sure. read more

Our first time going to The Melting Pot together and it was a very fun experience/date night! Pricey, but I highly recommend coming here, especially if you have a special occasion and want to try something new. I made reservations ahead of time and they asked if we were celebrating anything special. I let them know we were celebrating my boyfriend's graduation and the lady told me she could put a card as well as chocolate covered strawberries, which they did. It was a nice surprise for my boyfriend! We started with the Classic Alpine fondue, then shared The Classic and Steak Lovers cooked in the Coq au Vin fondue, and ended with the Flaming Turtle. All the fondue cooking styles that we got were the recommended ones on the menu, so we decided to play it safe. Happy to say we weren't disappointed! At first I thought the amount of meat wouldn't be enough for us, but it ended up being the perfect amount to leave us stuffed. We were very excited for the filet (we saved it for last) but it wasn't as good as we thought it would be. The garlic pepper sirloin was our favorite and luckily we got a lot of that since it's in both The Classic and Steak Lovers. I'm not too big on chicken, but we also both loved the herb-crusted chicken breast (in The Classic). For those with kids, I believe there is a kids menu that isn't too pricey, so they can join in with you and have a fun experience as well. Overall, very satisfied with our experience. Although it is very pricey, you have to remember you're paying for both the food and the experience. ***Shout-out to our waiter last night - I believe his name is Tyler. He's very personable and an all-around great waiter/host! DIRECTIONS: We had trouble following directions to get here, and the construction around it didn't help.
