Gyro platter and Tapas plate spicy Turkish rice, feta cheese rolls, grape leafs, and hummus
Kyle O.

From start to finish. The staff made us feel welcomed and we're friendly. The food here is hands-down some of the best food I have ever eaten. The portions are ginormous if you leave you're hungry it's on you. We will definitely be back!!

gyro platter (insanely delicious)

standing ovation for this restaurant. the food was insanely delicious. we ordered the gyro platter (which i would recommend for two) and stuffed grape leaves. the stuffed grape leaves were tender and soft and so flavorful, the sauce it's served with was a perfect pairing. now for the gyro platter- the mixed greens were fresh and crisp, the meat was delicious, the dressing and feta perfectly scattered over the platter for a PERFECT BITE every time. it's a quiet little restaurant, not too busy or packed. service was friendly. i'll be back when i have a mediterranean craving.

Service was wonderful and the food was even better. Such a refreshing and delicious lunch for our family of four. Quaint little place that had everything you're looking for in a Mediterranean meal. Looking forward to going back next time we're here

A lot of reviews mention this restaurant not being great aesthetically, however, I disagree. I think it is cute and the definition of a small hole in the wall- a true gem! This is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to and offers something different compared to the surrounding restaurants in the area. The portions were HUGE, the flavors were authentic, the gyro meat was the best I've ever had. I started lunch with their lentil soup + a side of pita. Delicious. My husband had the Chicken Tava. The chicken was tender and flavored with red peppers, garlic, green peppers, etc over a bed of rice and also paired with a huge Greek salad. I had the gyro platter. The meat was well cooked, extremely flavorful, served over rice and again a huge Greek salad. I split the portion and had half for lunch and half for dinner. Our waitress was kind and gave great recommendations. I look forward to coming back and would recommend to anyone visiting the Destin area!

Made a reservation for lunch our table was ready when we got there. The service was great and the food was outstanding! My only complaint is it's not close enough to home. Otherwise I would be eating there a lot!! Highly recommended if you're up in Destin.

May be the best shaved gyro platter I've had in my life. Enormous portions tender juicy and seasoned wonderfully. I asked to substitute Yukon mashed potatoes instead of rice; also excellent with authentic fresh potatoes and buttery taste. Salad had a light dressing that satisfied, not too heavy to cover or dominate the flavor. Service was friendly and expert , helping to choose. Ambiance was casual and attractive colors, with slow jazz playing. I will come here every time I'm in Destin. Highly highly recommended.

Man, the food was awesome! The tzatziki sauce was fire. Portions were really generous. We really enjoyed the Greek fries. Everything had a lot of feta (as I would expect for Greek food)! Service was far from enthusiastic, but was attentive. I would definitely go back if I'm back in the area. I love that it's Organic.

Salmon Kabobs and Swedish Meat Balls

Incredible experience AND food! This food is insanely flavorful, and fresh. I got the salmon kabobs and they were packed full of flavor...I was genuinely floored. My boyfriend doesn't love Mediterranean food but he loved the Swedish meatballs! He kept saying "wow, this was so good." 100% will be coming back and will be recommending this place to everyone.

This place is such a good find! It's a pretty small restaurant but the food is so good. We got two gyro sandwiches, butter filet mignon, and some tzatziki dip. Everything was so good and fresh. The portions are pretty large as well. There's only one server for all the tables but he's attentive and nice. I will say that we did wait quite a bit for the food to come out but that's how you know it's fresh. Prices aren't too bad, except for the entrees.

Swedish meatballs, tapas platter, filet mignon.

This is hands down the best Mediterranean food in not only the Destin area, but the entire Emerald Coast and beyond. The Swedish meatballs --- OMG --- sooo good. Portions are bountiful, you won't leave here hungry. New favorite place, will be back at least once or twice a month!

Place is small and a little loud. Wait staff was friendly and courteous. Gyro platter was good and generous portion. Chicken Tava was good.

I never have a need to get hummus from the grocery store or even make it myself when I'm in Pensacola anymore! The hummus at Chickpea house is so good and super affordable. The menu is super simple. Pita, falafel, fries, hummus, tahini, and a few veggies for salad and to make a sandwich (which is a pita with falafel in it). I would like to say this place is vegan, but since I didn't see it listed anywhere on the menu I'll just say that this place is good for vegetarians for sure. Not gonna lie I love Mediterranean meats and I would love to see kafta or any lamb on the menu. I understand that the simplicity is what makes this non-traditional Palestinian restaurant efficient and fast casual, however! To be honest, the fact that falafel is really the only protein available is probably the only reason why I'm not at this spot once a week while I'm in town. Other than that I highly recommend!

The chickpea nuggets were bland. They could really use some seasoning. I didn't like the tzatziki…read moresauce either it was a bit too sour. The fries were WAY too salty, I could not eat them. The staff could definitely use some work in the hospitality and customer service department. The kiosks in the front seemed impersonal and the staff literally refer you to the kiosk for everything. The interior is nice and clean but weird. The front where you order is disconnected from the eating area. A side of hot sauce is a dollar. Totally not worth a dollar for hot sauce. The sandwich on pita was said to be good. I didn't try it.

We sat down, ordered drinks and the owner came to take our order and explain the specials. He told us about the cochinita (slow roasted pork, Yucatan style) and went off to shake up some fresh margarita's. I decided to get the quesadilla and asked if I could sub with the cochinita, which was no problem - the owner said everything is made to order and substitutions are no issue. We strengthened our patience with the delicious chips/salsa (mild, but flavorful) and the food arrived shortly after we finished our first drink. The cochinita was succulent and peppery and all the other dishes on the table looked equally mouthwatering. More drinks and check-ins from the owner, who also brought out some habanero salsa (fire!) and some pickled onions for the tacos. Everything about the meal was good! The food is already top shelf and the owner described how he would be improving the look of the restaurant over time to make it his own and make it appealing to visitors. We will be back for more!

Each dish is made to order and is absolutely delicious. The location is just off 9th Avenue and it is attached to a gas station. The inside is nicely decorated with a bar, comfortable booth or table seating, and not CE decor. This is my favorite place in town and I highly recommend visiting them for lunch or dinner. They are adding a bakery soon.
